Very cool place to see!! In itself, the Woman's Bridge is impressive, and worth seeing. And, one should note the important history behind its construction. However, there is also a bunch to see and do in the area. There are a number of great parks, local art, fountains, restaurants and shopping.

The Woman's Bridge in Buenos Aires is a beautiful representation of a tango dance, with its design cleverly embodying the elegance of a dancing couple. The symbolism behind the white mast as the man and the bridge's graceful curve as the woman adds a unique touch to the architectural charm. It's a must-see for those appreciating art and symbolism in urban structures as well as relaxing at the port near water. Local restaurants and bars have good Happy Hour deals!

A very imposing and modern bridge and in a nice setting between two historic ships along with a host of good quality eating places.

The bridge of the woman is beautiful, it is spectacular to see it, it represents the image of a couple dancing tango, the white mast represents the man while the curved silhouette of the bridge is the woman. It is really recommendable to go there.

The whole Puerto madero place is nice, cool, relaxed and great to chill. There are many good restaurants and the vibe is fantastic. You can enjoy the peace of the river, walk safely in a family atmosphere and enjoy the music from local players. It is impressive to watch the bridge move when ships are going through. Day or night it is a recommended stop when visiting Buenos Aires.

Beautiful bridge representing a couple dancing the Tango. The white mast represents a man and the curve of the bridge the woman. It is a very famous landmark Puerto Madero neighborhood. The architect was Santiago Calatrava.

An interesting rotating footbridge that swings out 90° to allow water traffic to pass. Construction of the Puente de la Mujer (Women’s Bridge) started in 1998 and was opened in late 2001. The bridge was declared a Cultural Heritage of Buenos Aires in 2018. Many streets in the Puerto Madero district have women's names and is the basis for the bridge’s name.

Visiting Puerto Madero is a must if you’re in Buenos Aires. In summer it can be a little uncomfortable, as there’s no shadow and sun can be dangerous. Nevertheless, if you can visit this place in spring or fall, then the weather will probably be perfect. Puente de la Mujer is not an amazing sculpture, but it’s definitely worth visiting. Puerto Madero is a very relaxing place, where you also have the chance to have lunch or dinner, or just have a drink. If you enjoy running, Puerto Madero is a must, as you’ll have a great landscape to enjoy while running. It’s definitely worth it. Give it a try!

The bridge was closed, October 2022. Anyway the area worth to be visited. You have the restaurants facing the canal, from those old buildings. Also the old ships (about 50 cents per person). Be aware that the restaurants are way more expensive than similar ones located in the downtown a few block away. This area is the midpoint between Plaza de Mayo and the park with the meadows.

Nice bridge overall, it's worth a visit especially at night, where the lights create wonderful reflections on Rio Dique. The surroundings are the most modern district of Buenos Aires, and there are some nice skyscrapers and streets. The walk along the shore is full of music and people during the summer nights.

Like all Calatrava designs this bridge is a feat of engineering and architecture. Loved walking over the bridge. There are many places to hang out out by the port. Wish I could see the bridge turn to open position!

Awesome 170-meters rotating pedestrian bridge designed by famous Santiago Calatrava. Completed in 2001. Look for the best photo opportunities at night when the bridge is beautifully lit. This way you can catch both the bridge and its reflection in the Rio Dique and Rio Darsena Sur. One of the landmarks of Buenos Aires that you don't want to miss.

My second day in Buenos Aires and walk to this bridge from immigration Museum about 15 min walk . museum was interesting I will write review for it but not recommending walking from museum to this bridge. Not really very pleasant and pedestrian friendly road . Bit industrial. However if we need to talk about Mujer Bridge ( women bridge) bridge is Interesting enough to go and take pictures for sure but more important is area , have to say nice and Lively Location, lots of café , restaurant end Bars here lots of them open but some of them close lunch time they open for diner and area getting more busy with locals and of course lots of tourists too at night . I would definitely go back for another lunch and dinner. More pleasant then busy city Center street restaurants. I give 4 starts because they would improve the area still not there yet . Sorry Enjoy your trip. 🇦🇷☀️🙏🏻

Stunning rotating footbridge for Dock 3 in the Puerto Madero commercial district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is of the cantilever spar cable-stayed bridge type and is also a swing bridge, but somewhat unusual in its asymmetrical arrangement. The bridge represents a couple dancing tango, with the white mast symbolising the man and the curve of the bridge, the woman. It has a large turning mechanism, allowing it to swing open to allow sailing ships to pass. The bridge was constructed in Spain and donated to Buenos Aires through a private donation. Definitely worth a visit, though difficult to photograph.

Very pretty both day and night. Pretty crowded in the evening (at least on weekends) but it links several bars and restaurants; definitely worth exploring the area. I felt pretty safe, but always keep your guard up, especially at night if you’re a tourist.

A beautiful Calatrava pedestrian bridge in a vibrant area. My complaint is that at night they light it with bright diffuse lights that is not directed and is not pleasing as it creates a lot of glare.

We visited in October 2019, both during the day and on a couple of evenings during our stay in BA. This area has been very well regenerated, lovely walkways down the side of the old docks with some really nice restaurants, the stunning bridge is a central crossing point and a great architectural feature to this area. We enjoyed meals at a couple of these restaurants and a few beers at The Hard Rock Cafe! Felt safe during our evening strolls but I wouldn't want to walk it too late at night.

Really cool bridge. You can walk across to the other side of the road to have a good view of the city and the river. They called it the woman bridge. I am sure there is a history around this but I didn't get a chance to read into it. Come here for sunset the view is beautiful.

Buenos Aires' Puerto Madero district of sleek glass highrise boasts an architectural fulcrum in the Puente de la Mujer, a practical junction across an extensive water barrier. This is Buenos Aires' Millenium Bridge, where dog walkers meet tourists and local businessmen.
