Wow! We found our burger place!!! My husband stopped by after going to Ace. He loved the burger so much he wanted to bring me the next day. I loved the whole experience we both did!! I usually don't like to venture out of my comfort zone and try new styles of burgers... especially anything with onion. But the Criolla caught my attention. I was going to order w/out onions, but the lady working suggested I try it with the salsa that came on the burger. She convinced me that the flavors all worked well together, especially since it was pickled onions.  She brought me a mini sample of the onion to see what I thought. The onions were chopped so finely that I barely noticed it. How cool though that she even offered for me to try the little sample. I wish I caught the name of the lady helping us!  She also suggested the lemonade with cucumber! That was so refreshing. I ordered the regular fries and they were so good too, while my husband tried the garlic fries. We enjoyed both styles. He ordered the burger with the red pepper called the Oh LA La. These burgers were packed with so much flavor and freshness! Everything was phenomenal. They really take pride in their burgers and what they do. They love bringing the very best flavors for their customers. We will definitely be back and have told many people in the Oswego area to check it out! Thank you for the wonderful experience!!

Wow! This place was awesome, truly a hidden gem for the Oswego area. Came here because of all the reviews raving about this place and they did not disappoint! The owner Kristin was extremely helpful with inside tips on the best of the best on her menu. Everything looked and tasted amazing! Can’t wait to be back!

Lovely service, the waitress is very friendly and attentive. Very good burgers and aguas frescas. I recommend the pineapple lemonade!. I recommend the specialty burger that comes with the onion dip, it’s out of this world! In general the place is very cozy, the staff is friendly, and the burgers are great!

Amazing. The food was so good. The service was great. Such a nice group of people. I was working in the area and decided to stop by. The criolla burger is most authentic and delicious. The beef empanadas are so good. The chimichurri wedges and the pupusas and lemonade. Can’t go wrong with anything. So fresh and tasty.

The burgers were OUT OF THIS WORLD! So good. I’m still thinking about it hahaha. The flavor is amazing, the patty is huge, the burger itself is huge, the fries were great. I can’t wait to go back. The young lady that worked there was so nice too. She really helped us with the menu, answered any questions we had, and gave us suggestions.

These burgers were the bomb! The options are unique, and the flavors are mouth-watering. You'll want to come back the next day! We also tried their empanadas and fresh-cut wedges; both were delicious. Not only is their food fresh and tasty, but their staff is wonderful.

One of the best burger & steak sandwich experiences I’ve ever had! I would highly recommend you dine in and enjoy the friendly staff and ownership that are very proud of what that have created in this small but delightful restaurant in Oswego! I ordered the Gran Milanesa sandwich and split it with a friend that ordered the Chivito Uruguayan! Both were absolutely delicious. Potato wedges are always fresh. I encourage anyone who likes high quality food to make their way thought the entire menu! Wait times are a little longer than average due to the freshness and high quality of their menu items. Well worth the wait in my opinion.

This place is incredible! I can't say enough nice things about all of it. It's small but cute, the food is just incredible, the (cucumber) lemonade is addictive, and the owner (I think?) is just the nicest lady! The place was packed when we arrived, but she checked in with us constantly while we were waiting and made sure everyone in the place was taken care of while they kind of caught up with everything. We will 100% be making a return trip, and I already cannot wait!

Hand pressed & seasoned BIG burger patty was amazing. The fries are uniquely cut and THICK. Menu has lots of unique choices Accommodate Gluten free by putting burger on lettuce wrap. Love the small-town diner feel dining room. Reasonably priced compared to other burger joints in the area. Definitely will be back! Thanks Christin!

I can't say enough great stuff about this place! If you like burgers then this place is the place to be. We had the wings that were absolutely delicious even without any sauce. We also had the beef empanadas and they did not disappoint, so good! For the burger I had one of the specials that had a habanero jam, bacon and a fried egg and it was off the charts delicious. I only wish that there was another location closer to me but I will gladly be making the drive to try everything else. Highly recommend.

Wow. Just fantastic. This was our first visit and we wondered why it has taken us so long to check out this little gem. Tucked away in an out of the way strip mall in the far west suburb of Oswego, it's not somewhere you'll likely stumble upon. It's worth seeking out. There are a handful of tables inside this place and a few more on the sidewalk. Ambiance isn't its forté, but the food and super-friendly service more than makes up for it. There are a number of innovative burgers on the menu, but we settled on El Che and the Criolla. The El Che was my choice. Mexican-style spicy pickled red onions, chimichurri mayo, and bacon topped a 3/4" patty, which was beefy, moist, and non-greasy, despite being cooked well-done. The eggy bun was perfect. My wife loved her Criolla burger as well. They have a large variety of fries to choose from. We shared a basket of the chimichurri fries which were utterly delicious and very unlike any I have ever had. Even the potato itself seemed unique. They appeared to be hand-cut in a sort of spiral fashion and were coated with something like corn or tapioca starch before being fried. Interestingly, it also seemed like the chimichurri that topped them was also fried. A small puddle of olive oil was below them in the basket. Yummmmmmm! Our drinks were also great. I had the cucumber lemonade and my wife had the mango-pineapple. Mine had small cubes of cucumber while my wife's had small cubes of mango. The sturdy, retro, and environmentally-friendly paper straws weren't very useful due to the pieces of cucumber and mango clogging them up, but that was no problem. There are no alcoholic drinks on the menu. I didn't ask if BYOB is an option. Finally, our waitress was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. Definitely a home run.

The food was cooked well, however I did not enjoy it. It's just not what I liked. I got the Lomo Asadoras and it was very sweet to me. The chutney and the caramelized onions were just very sweet, however the steak was cooked very good though. The steak was seasoned and cooked well on it's own and the bread was very nice and soft. My son got a burger and it was a burger and comes with two patties. I did not enjoy the fries but my son did. They are like the extruded kind.

Don't let the small storefront atmosphere tuen you away, or you will be missing out on perhaps one of the best burgers you've ever experienced. My wife and I had a taste for burgers last night and considered the usual Plainfield burger joints, and none were tickling our fancy. So my wife searched for burgers near us and found Asadoras Argebtinas Burgers. Yeah, being in Oswego, it's a few more minutes away than the typical Plainfield burger places, but we found it to be well worth the drive. The seating area is small (four or five tables), so be prepared to carry out or find an alternative place to eat if no tables are available. We did notice several more tables outside under the covered walkway, which will help in warmer weather. That said, we arrived around 7 pm on a Friday and there was only one other table occupied. If you're carrying out, you place your order at the counter. If dining in, the server will come and take your order at your table. I ordered the Temptation burger and fries. My wife ordered the patty melt and onion rings. The food arrived quickly, maybe a 10 or 12 minute wait max. We split the sides as well as an order of fried plantains, which were hot (temp) and sweet. Everything was delicious. Very fresh tasting beef, a little kick from the addition of pepper, I believe. For drinks, I ordered a strawberry horchata and my wife got a passion fruit and pineapple lemonade. Both were delicious. I preferred the lemonade. We paid our bill at the counter and took our leftovers home. Hint: warm up the fries and onion rings in your air fryer at 400°F for about 10 minutes and they'll be darn near as good as fresh! We will definitely be back for another visit!

Out of this world burgers 😍. I was in the area on my lunch break today and stopped in to visit Asadoras for the first time. And wow I'm so glad I did! The owner talked to me about the different options and and suggested the criolla burger as a popular choice. I tried it along with some chicken empanadas and garlic parmesan potato wedges and everything tasted amazing. 10/10. Next time I'm bringing my coworkers here 🤠.

First time here, service was great and owner is super friendly and made us feel welcomed. I had the double burger, the meat is very good. The patties are big I barely finished it. Fries are pretty good and loved thier cucumber water. If their burger buns had some mayo and they used a better lettuce I'm sure this burger would be a 5 star. Either way, I will be back, I'm interested in trying a few other items.

We decided to try this place after seeing all the good reviews. Everyone was super nice and gave some good recommendations. Beef empanadas are a good appetizer. Took the waitress’s advice and got the Criolla burger with the Parmesan fries. Awesome choice. Will definitely be back.
