Well I made an online appointment to get my hair colored professionally. The color technician was fine until after the washing process I was handed a blow dryer and told I need to blow dry my hair myself. I was actually offended, I’m paying $270 dollars to get my hair done… which you can’t even see the true color with wet hair and told the dry it myself…This to me is a joke and so unprofessional especially for a name like Mario tricoci. I understand if I needed to pay extra to get my hair styled which I asked for after I was handed the dryer but there was no available tech to do that. On top of that I paid $25 extra dollars for my hair to feel soft and not dry and it feels SUPER dry. AND my forehead is brown, and won’t come off. I’m so unhappy with my service that I will continue to share this story to friends and family and hope my review will also help others to not make the same mistake I did, the Tricoci name is going to get a bad reputation if they don’t make some changes.

It is unsettling that a razor was used to thin out my hair all around my head without asking me. I have been concerned about my hair thinning over the last few months and have been taking steps to promote thicker hair growth, so that was devastating to me. I don’t understand why I wasn’t asked beforehand, as I never said I wanted anything of the sort and would NOT have agreed to it. I came in for a trim and face framing layers. She started at the back and by the time she got to the front and I realized what she was doing it was too late so I didn’t say anything about it. No stylist has ever done this to my hair before. This is my first time ever leaving a negative review because I am still pretty upset.

We moved to the Northern suburbs 3 years ago and I tried a few places and then I found Samantha and Adrienne at the Tricoci. Samantha is a great hair stylist ; I got an updo done for the very first time for my daughters engagement party and she did a fabulous job. I received a lot of compliments ! Adrienne always gets my hair color nicely done. Have had a great experience at every visit.

Happy to have this salon/spa nearby for me and my family. It’s easy to book online and they have great hours. The front desk has been professional, friendly, and helpful each time I’ve arrived. The salon seems well run and stylists do good work.

I wish I can give 0 starts to this place. I went there cause I had a bad experience at another saloon, and I was impress by the reviews and their ig page. I needed a balayage correction and I left looking the same. I was frustrated so I didn’t say a thing but what a waste of almost $300. It wasn’t something impossible that I asked to get done cause I went to another place and they did what I asked for, the same picture I showed at this place. They don’t do refunds, it’s so unfair.

The pedicure is a little pricey comparably but my beautician Sawanya was amazing! She was super friendly, detailed, and amazing foot massage! With the current deal of buy $100, get $15 bonus gift card it was worth the splurge (just can’t use bonus same day of buying). Definitely will be back to visit her!

I had an amazing experience here for my first time. I got a no chip manicure from Sawaya (sp?). She was so amazing - clean, fast, detail-oriented and so friendly and sweet. I have had a hard time with no chip in the past and I’m happy to say 2 week later, it still looks amazing. Highly recommend her and Tricoci in Deerfield - I’ll be back for a pedicure!

I went to Tricoci in Deerfield and met Mercedes for my haircut. She was very welcoming of my vision for my hair. She took the time to explain the approach she would take. And it turned out wonderful. We had a great conversation about life in general. She also suggested a few hair products, but did not push to buy immediately. That is so refreshing. The measure of a good haircut is after you wash your hair at home and let them air dry. I must say, my haircut is how I wanted it and it brings the best out of my natural curls.
