This was our time first trying this place and it absolutely will not be our last! I wouldn't be upset to go back tomorrow! Absolutely phenomenal fried seafood. I would absolutely recommend you try this place! Everything was very fresh and well worth the money. Tha Bomb sandwich was GREAT And the fried lobster tail was DELICIOUS!!! I have only amazing things to say about this place and detailing friends-and-family all about it. Hush puppies were delicious, fries or home style, small cut and tasty. Great classic flavor dirty rice, too. Definitely give them a try if you're thinking about it. Update: I HAD to have this place again! After having them the first time, we tried a second location in Lockport, customer service was rough, so we went back to Mount prospect-They're awesome here. We will only ever go to this location. Their food is some of the best I've had and everyone was VERY friendly and pleasant!! This time, we got Tha bomb sandwich with a side of red potatoes. I ordered on their website and picked it up for carryout. The woman behind the counter was a friendly face as soon as I walked in the door. My food was hot and ready, and I got a free drink! Ordering on the app was super easy and the food travels well, as we live about 20 minutes away. If you're a fan of remoulade sauce, definitely get a bunch of extra surf sauce. It's delicious with everything! Can't say enough great things about the fried lobster tail and Tha bomb sandwich! It's THAT good. Red potatoes were very tasty as well, definitely getting them again. We'll be back soon!

The staff is extremely friendly, food is sooo good!! I got the chicken and shrimp combo and everything tasted so juicy and fresh. My husband had the catfish and chicken and that was tasty as well. Highly recommend trying!

Whew!!!! Had That fried catfish and fried shrimp combo with a side of grits and collards. The food is down home good y’all. This some fresh seafood like nowhere else in Chicago for the price. Customer service was excellent and the flavors was smack yo mama something good. My new seafood joint. I tore it up before I could take a pic.

First time tried this place and I’m definitely gonna come back! The seafood is cooked and seasoned perfectly, sides and sauces are delicious. Overall if you’re craving for Louisiana style seafood-don’t think too much, just go here and you’ll be happy after you finish your plate!

Best Po boy I've had outside of New Orleans! Decided to give this place a shot and so glad we did! Had shrimp Po boys, fried catfish dinner, dirty rice, cheesy grits, and turkey greens. Everything was fantastic. Catfish and shrimp were cooked to perfection, breading was crisp and well seasoned, and all the sides were tasty and a decent portion. Atmosphere is definitely a lunch spot. Will definitely be back!

Great food! Love their chicken wings which were well seasoned and juicy. Their shrimp was also great as well. The staff there were all friendly and very accommodating. Only thing would be that their space is a little small. But other than that it was great! Definitely will be coming back again.

Service: outstanding. Counter person was friendly, courteous, and patient. We took a while deciding what to get without feeling rushed. Followed their suggestion and went with a catfish and a shrimp selection. Food: made to order so it was hot and fresh. The batter is amazing. Food was not great and tasted great. The pineapple soda was excellent. Atmosphere: exactly as expected. Value: great food at a good price.

We were hitting a movie and wanted to try something new in the area. Loved the food, the shrimp and grits are amazing. No real seating indoors so will be doing take outs. Great for table sharing.

Fresh, delicious seafood. My husband ordered shrimp, lightly battered - and I had the tilapia. We also loved the sides - greens with turkey and cheese grits. Perfect Friday seafood meal. We will be back!
