👍👍 We rented the electric bikes our first day in Galena and the kayaks the very next day. Reserving online was easy, the equipment was top-notch and both experiences were great! Would do it again in a heartbeat People often mention staff, gear,

Nuts Outdoors provided us with great service and made our kayaking trip really amazing! We got a 2hr kayak rental on our own. The price is super reasonable for the time you spend kayaking. The staff was super helpful and we got our gear quickly and got in the water fast. The galena river was a beautiful and peaceful place to kayak, and is great for kayakers of any level.

My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 hour kayak trip down the river! The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would love to do another activity with these guys next time we visit!

My wife and I had talked for sometime about going Kayaking. I finally bought some and yesterday I decided we are going. My wife was still sleeping at 7:30 am so I decided to contact Nuts Outdoors using instant messenger. Holy cow someone answered me back right away. I asked many questions and that person answered all of them. We picked the option to bring our own gear and pay for the transportation to the drop off up north. All done on line. We arrived and everyone was so helpful. They loaded our gear and off we went. After signing some proper paperwork. Silas, the owner drove us and explained the area and where we would take off from and where it would end. Turns out he was the one on the instant messenger responding. I was impressed and told him. We reached our drop off and he unloaded our gear and helped us get in our kayaks. FYI. You can rent their kayaks for a fee. Off we were, my wife and I. Two beginners not knowing what to expect. Boy it was one of our best “On the run” adventures we have ever had!!! There were small rapids, wildlife, peacefulnesses, beautiful scenery and plenty of water to paddle on. Just under the main bridge is where we got back on land and the staff loaded our gear and brought us to their location. From the friendly staff, Jacob and Silas. We highly recommend Nuts Outdoors to anyone looking for great service and an awesome experience! J. Rangel Aka “Empty Nesters on the Run”. DBQ, IA

Nuts outdoors is a fantastic business. The staff were all professional and fun loving. We rented a single and a double kayak for the three of us. Silas took us up River so that we had a two hour trip back down River. It made for a very easy paddle. We are all fairly inexperienced at kayaking but it was absolutely delightful. The scenery is peaceful and stunning. We saw beautiful birds including bald eagles. We are new residents of galena and look forward to many more trips w Nuts Outdoors.

Large selection of eBikes and Kayaks. Impressive collection of knives, axes, and other survival gear. Very easy to reserve things and staff are very laid back. Wonderful experience overall

Prices are NUTS!!!! Me and 3 other friends called about their shuttle service since we had our own kayaks. $160 for just the 4 of us to get dropped off! I understand there’s time and gas involved or if even we were renting their kayaks, but just to be dropped off 10 minutes away at $160 is crazy. After I told him on the phone that we were going to pass due to the price, he was very rude.

I went in about 2 days ago to rent an e-bike for 2 hours. Staff was very kind and I got hooked up with an e-bike and was shown how to operate it! The experience was amazing and it was a great assist to getting errands done fast and easy! I am definitely coming back soon!
