PLEASE READ IF LOOKING FOR A NEW DOCTOR . Dr Greathouse is a nice person. But, I cannot begin to explain the lack of professionalism at this office. If you read through Google OR Yelp comments you can see the same complaints over and over again. If you get bloodwork.. you will not get the results at all, if they are good or negative. If a prescription needs to be filled, it becomes a horribly stressful event going back and forth between the pharmacy & Dr Greathouse’s office. The front desk girls are completely under trained. There is so much confusion in this office with no one actually in charge. This is not the fast food industry where we should be rushed in and out… this is our lives, our health & our loved ones lives. I’m sorry to say, choose a different medical group. I really hope they could learn, get better trained and more qualified to run a medical office down the road.

They used to be super amazing and I do confide in Dr. Greathouse as she listens well but now I have a hard time getting any of my prescriptions and I have to call multiple times before I get an answer. I got testing done a couple weeks ago and I needed urgent medication. I used to suggest this office for everyone I know but I can't confidently do that anymore.

They sent my medical records somewhere other than to me and I still haven’t received them. They cant tell me where they were sent. Furthermore, she personally belittled my wife on the phone when we challenged Dr Greathouse on her processes. Lastly, they appear to not have an EHR in place and are not affiliated with the hospital in which they reside. Making it triple hard to work with them. If you’re looking for a compassionate physician to coordinate a serious medical condition as I am, this is not the place. I felt hustled for my records frankly when I made it clear I was moving to a different provider 2 months ago. Still nothing from them.

We’ve been going to Dr. Greathouse for the last 20 years. We’ve been with her since medical group on vine. We’ve stayed with her due to feeling like she was our family doctor. But we have no more energy to deal with her practice anymore. I agree with every review that’s 1 star as it doesn’t surprise me. She is impossible to get ahold of. If you get a prescription, she will forget to send it in and you’ll have to constantly call her office. Then when you do call, most likely the office is closed. The nurse practitioner is more of the doctor than her since she’s barely around. We needed a MRI due to back pain, they reached out saying she’ll call us from 6-8pm for the results. She didn’t. Then a week goes by, still in a lot of back pain and we haven’t heard from her. Found out that they never sent in the results. Her office staff didn’t tell us that she was doing a zoom call with us when they told us she will call us from 6-8p. We don’t check our emails or known it was through zoom. So another window opportunity of trying to reach her- gone. We check our emails, they booked an appointment without even telling us. When you do meet with her, it’s very quick and not much concernment for your overall well being. Pick a different doctor. You will never be able to get results in a timely manner, you’ll be playing phone tag, and most likely feel worse before you feel better due to the communication issues. She’s overbooked or simply has too much on her plate to where she isn’t a doctor for her practice. Her office staff also needs to be trained on how they are communicating with patients and confirm appointments correctly. She’s not worth your time or stress.

The worst doctor I ever had. I had issues with my kidneys and she repeatedly told me it was anxiety and prescribed me Valium. Her office was ran in completely chaos and no one ever knew what was going on. She’s argumentative and rude and not worth the hassle. Any other doctor would be a better choice.

It's refreshing to go to a doctors office and not feel like they are doing me a favor. She takes time and listen to your needs. She treated me like a human being.

I started seeing Dr. Greathouse a month ago. I first met with Sandra who is Dr. Greathouse, assistant. Sandra was very attentive. She listened to me and asked follow-up questions. I have never had this type of service with Primary Care of Joliet or the Will County Health Department. Now, I had bloodwork completed in the lab at Silvercross and Dr. Greathouse could not find them. This was not her fault but the lab on the 1st floor's fault. I have waited long periods of time at all other facilities I have went to. So far I have been seen ten minutes after I arrived. However, I will wait however long it takes to gain her audience because she knows what she is doing and I trust her.

I have a lot of confidence in Dr. Greathouse. She has been my primary physician for many years. She is professional and thorough, yet very personable. Her staff is very helpful
