This weekend my husband and I took our family to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate our oldest son turning 8 years old. We noticed that they were highlighting Autism Awareness month. This really struck us because earlier this year our two year old was diagnosed with Autism. He’s in an array of different therapies, but loves swimming and being in the water, so we felt this trip would be perfect for both him and his big brother (The birthday boy). However, we had a horrible experience during our stay. There were bugs of all sorts in our room, we asked what could be done and they said nothing. All of the games were broken and not reading correctly, we have video footage of them not giving the correct amount of tickets to the kids. Certain front desk staff were extremely rude whenever you asked for help. I personally asked to speak to a manager, the staff asked why I needed a manager, and I explained that my child had autism and I wanted to speak with a manager in regards to a situation concerning my son. The staff returned from the back and said the manager needed to know specifically before they would come out and speak with me. I could not believe it! This was absolutely the rudest most disrespectful thing that I’ve ever heard.

We stayed 3 days and 2 nights and the kids really enjoyed this place. The location is convenient right off of the expressway and the lodge was very clean. Just like any other business, they are short on staff due to the lack of workers however, their customer service and patience was exceptional. We arrived early and our room was ready. Yes the line to check in was long due to the mobile app being down but again, just get there early and be patient and understanding. Their front desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable once you check in to make sure you have all the details you need for your stay. The room was outstanding! The kids had their own cabin like area which they were super excited about and it was spacious enough for the adult section. There were plenty of towels and we needed an iron which I was able to ask for through the app and they brought it right up. Throughout the stay they sent chat messages asking how everything was going which I thought was great. The water park was super clean and the kids loved every minute of it. Super convenient to have everything on the wristband so you do not have to worry about losing anything and it was super safe and cashless. All in all, if you have children 12 and under they will love this place! We cannot WAIT to go back!!

We took our 4 grandkids here for a one night stay (8, 7, 7, and 5) before they go back to school. 20 minutes from home (we live in WI). They had a blast! They were living their best lives while there and we made wonderful memories. From check in, to the water park, to the gift shop, everything was great! Staff was friendly and the lifeguards are very attentive! Arcade, ice cream from Ben and Jerry’s, stuffed animals from the fist shop, and everyone in our party got free wolf ears which the kids loved. It was our first time here and we will be back. We didn’t have to drive 2 1/2 hours to the Dells. Connor gave our grand kids free ice cream coupons, which they were so excited about. Food was good. Room was good. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Went to celebrate my sons 12th birthday, we had a great and comfortable stay. Everything was clean, I requested more towels and blankets (through the app) and they brought them promptly. I have no complaints. With the wristband you can opt to pay for everything with it because the resort is cashless and it works as a key for your room, which is pretty cool. I’ll definitely be returning. ☺️

Things We Liked: Two rides were not working the hotel was pro active and gave us 25% of our stay without having to ask. Amazing Hotel for Kids!!!!!! Highly recommend the “Wolf Pass” Arcade Games we’re amazing Magic Quest was fun and staff was helpful All the fun activities for the kids! The staff members were kind & seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. The Great Wolf Lodge App The restaurants The water park Ben & Jerry’s ice cream Things We Disliked How thin the walls are you can her everything, which if you are traveling with little one who are light sleepers that’s no fun. Noise in hallways, since kids were running around during quite hours. The pullout couch will make your back hurt lol Water park did not have a hot tub (minor dislike) and outdoor pool was green. But overall it was a great experience, loved the events ambassador team. Lifeguard did a great job as well. Management also was very helpful The hotel is bigger than it looks. The front doesn’t give justice to how nice this place is.

Went this weekend for my son's 11th Birthday and it was a blast. We had the best customer service experience! Shout out to Zach for going above and beyond for us at the shop and arcade center. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room was clean and spacious we were able to check in early. The pool area was fully operating with life guards all over. We will definitely be returning for more family fun!

A bit pricey if you want more than just a standard hotel room when you have littles. But the rooms are nice and they offer so many great activities for kids like a dance party and story time. We usually wait for the promotional emails to book any room. My boys love coming here, the slides are great for the toddler to elementary school ages and plenty of lifeguards on staff. The water park is nicely kept compared to others I have stayed at and the food stand is good. We really had a blast at the arcade last time we stayed too.

I took my 12 year old grandson & his buddy for Halloween weekend. They had a great time in the water park & exploring all of the activities that are there. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. A big improvement over the last time we visited & better than any of the other kid resorts we had been to. Pizza was great, breakfast buffet simple but good (breakfast pizza a pleasant surprise) & dinner was good. Kids had hamburger & I had the short ribs. The rest of the facilities were 3-4 star but the prices are also 3-4 star

Had a wonderful time as always at Great Wolf Lodge. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the facility is very clean. I was very impressed to see the lifeguards running safety checks and drills regularly. I love that most of the "big slides" can be accessed on the same stairs. It saves a ton of time instead of trekking back and forth between at other locations! I will say our room had one issue though. The bathroom had a sliding pocket door that wouldn't ever quite shut all the way. Not a huge problem, but a minor inconvenience. Overall a great place to visit and enjoy.

We recently stayed here for my 10yr old daughters birthday for 2 nights starting on 08/19/22. This place is amazing! She had a blast!!! It's centered around children very well. We never had to leave the hotel the entire weekend for anything! The nice thing about the day of checkout is even though it's at 11am your still able to enjoy the activities until they close that same day. There is so much to do we couldn't get it all done in 1 day. We did buy the Wolf Pass for an extra $69 which gave her a build a bear, ice cream, a game of bowling and mini golf (glow golf), free goggles, free candy from the candy shop, arcade credits, among other things. We are definitely planning a trip back in the near future!! Im also adding some photos..

DO NOT COME HERE! The manager Max on duty discriminated my family and I. Which is illegal by the way. I am sickened by this man and his behavior I have absolutely no idea how he is still employed and I will be taking my concern to corporate. I typically never have issues and I’m not just an angry Karen. This was actually an act of complete bigotry. I came in with my family (we come at least twice a year) my girls love it. I don’t even know if I can stomach returning based on the way Max treated us. He was attempting to make a lighthearted joke but when confronted that it was completely inappropriate he lashed out. My family is Mexican and when my little girls looked out on the pool they got super excited and started running around the lobby while we were checking in. Max asked me questions about the girls and sounded particular creepy with his comments about their swimsuits… Disgusting. Then he said something under his breath about swimming over the boarder. It seems ridiculous for a manager in this position, almost too ridiculous to believe but it happened and I am FURIOUS. I am willing to comply with corporate and I hope they obtain footage and punish him accordingly. THIS GREAT WOLF LODGE IS RACIST MAX IS A RACIST MANAGER DO NOT ATTEND!!!!!

We had a great stay here for a few nights. The prices were pretty high. Maybe it's because I'm from a small town but $15 for a simple burger and $9 for chips with nacho cheese is kind of crazy. But over all with the pup pass and the super cool wrist bands that you could get into your room with and pay at restaurants with it was pretty awesome!

The family absolutely enjoyed every minute we were there. My son loved the climbing wall and ropes course and especially the water slides. My daughter turned the lazy river into the racing river. Worth every penny. The new package for everyone in your room to have unlimited climbing wall, ropes course, bowling, and putt putt is a great deal. Definitely plan on going back in the future.

Title: A Mixed Experience: Great Wolf Lodge Offers Fun Pools for Kids Rating: ★★★☆☆ My recent stay at Great Wolf Lodge was a mix of positives and negatives, and I feel it's important to provide a fair and balanced review of my experience. While there were certainly aspects that left a lot to be desired, I cannot deny that the pools and overall entertainment options provided a fun experience for children. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the pools. Great Wolf Lodge boasts an impressive selection of water attractions, and the children in our group had an absolute blast. From thrilling water slides to interactive play areas, there was no shortage of entertainment for the young ones. The variety of pools and features catered to different age groups, ensuring that children of all ages could find something enjoyable to do. The resort also had a decent selection of dining options, with a variety of cuisines available to suit different tastes. However, it's important to note that our positive experiences were dampened by some significant downsides. One of the most disappointing aspects was the lack of attention to basic housekeeping and guest requests. Despite repeated requests for a room clean and fresh towels, our needs were not adequately addressed during our five-day stay. This lack of cleanliness and responsiveness from the staff significantly impacted our overall satisfaction. While the pools and children's entertainment were undoubtedly enjoyable, it's crucial for any resort to prioritize the overall guest experience. Unfortunately, Great Wolf Lodge fell short in this regard, failing to meet basic hospitality standards. In summary, Great Wolf Lodge offers an array of enjoyable pools and entertainment options that are sure to delight children. However, the lack of attention to cleanliness and guest requests cannot be ignored. I would cautiously recommend this resort for families seeking a fun-filled pool experience, but it's important to be aware of the potential shortcomings in other areas of service. I hope that Great Wolf Lodge takes the necessary steps to improve their overall guest experience, ensuring a more well-rounded and satisfying stay for all visitors.

We had a really good time here. The lodge was kept really clean, the room was clean and comfortable. The water park is small and completely geared to little kids ages 1 to 10 there isn't a drop of water over 4 ft, and watched over intensely bye (what I witnessed) lifeguards. The staff here is where this place really shines, from the front desk and random employees to housekeeping they just couldn't of been more friendly and helpful. I would recommend this lodge to anyone with children under 11.

The best! My husband and I have been here twice already, just weeks apart. First time was an overnight trip with just him and I, second trip we had his 10 year old daughter. The atmosphere is nothing short of serene and staff shows top notch hospitality at every turn. Such a relaxing little place, with just enough water park space to not feel overwhelming or crowded. I highly recommend for adults only or families. Even just an overnight stay is sufficiently enough to get such a nice experience in.

The water park was amazing fun for all ages children, teens and adults. To ride the bigger attractions you do have to walk up stairs and it's a lot of stairs so be prepared my legs definitely had a workout. They provide life vest which was very nice and I have to say the staff was on point at the water area every few seconds you would hear the workers checking in with one another that everything was clear. This made me feel comfortable as a parent to let the kids roam freely. Will definitely go again. Food was good the typical food menu the drinks at the bar were great.

We took our daughters here to celebrate both of their birthdays and they had a blast to say the least! We went with the wolf pass and they enjoyed it to the fullest. I recommend getting that as it comes with free ice cream, bowling, candy, wolf ears, rock climbing, arcade points and so much more! We absolutely loved the water park, the arcade, playing magic quest, and the rooms were awesome too. Since I purchased the birthday package, it came with pizza and a cake as well. Pizza was delicious! Cake was okay but still a great deal! Overall, we had a great time and most importantly our daughters had an amazing birthday. I’m not sure about other locations, but this one was clean and the staff was attentive, we look forward to coming back!

Went here on a whim and from the 11/18-11/20 and spent over a thousand dollars. My last day I saw multiple roaches crawling around the room on food and everything. I was upset and went down and told the front desk I wanted a refund for my room. There was food boxes all in the hallway and trash. About 30 minutes later while my kids were still sleeping at 8am housekeeping comes banging on the door. I didn't answer because I took had laid back down because they said the GM would come later. Also what would housekeeping do on my last morning? Or about a roach infestation? I came down after getting dressed and they tried to make me talk to the housekeeping supervisor. I explicitly asked for my money back for the room because I paid for a clean and sanitary room. I also said they could keep the money for other activities. Someone named Max guest service manager eventually started mocking me. Told me I requested someone come to my room. When I denied that he said "I'm not going back and forth with you" like I was a child. A child that just spent $1000 in your hotel to be met with ROACHES. Asking "what do you want me to do about it?" SARCASTICALLY ... I let him know I wanted him to know what the "hell" I experienced and that he should have been the one speaking to me in the beginning. Then he began trying to bully me. Telling me to stop yelling and saying hell or he would call security 😭.... I wasnt yelling and if y'all were so poor you couldn't afford to give my money back for an unsanitary sleeping area just say that. Great wolf lodge I'm sure getting paid well enough that they should be able to hire cleaners and everything else. Then to have you staff escalate everything to avoid accountability. Embarrassing.

I didn't actually attend the park itself, we had a work conference here and I just have to say the service here was top notch. The women that attended us was very hospitable and kind and asked me if I needed anything. I asked her for a diet coke and she flew back somewhere and came back with 2. The food was really good too. Just overall great service. I don't have kids or swim but would definitely recommend them for their service.

Overly expensive, they don't list prices for anything in the grab and go market to disguise their insane prices, no housekeeping at all during our visit. Had to request multiple times to have basic necessities like toilet paper and coffee which should be replenished every day, had to take our own trash out to a common trash can in the hallway because it was never emptied out.

A great spot for an overnight getaway, especially during the winter months. Me & my girls had a great time at the water park. I can see that they expanded to include more slides and a wave pool since it used to be Key Lime Cove. They also added an adventure park and climbing wall as well as a Wizard Quest section. There are also more restaurants available than before. We went on a Monday / Tuesday during Thanksgiving break. The place was not too packed, and we were able to go on all the slides with minimal wait. We had a cupped pepperoni pizza from the pizza shop that we took back to our room. The only drawback for me was the price of the arcade games. You have to buy points to play, and even the cheapest games end up being almost $2 per play. I have 3 kids, so we had to skip this part, to their dismay. I would have easily spent a ton of money trying to keep them entertained in this spot for an hour. Instead we opted for the climbing wall. The people working the area let them try as many times as they wanted until more people came, which I appreciate because it tired my girls out before bedtime. Towels are provided at the water park.

Well we 4-year-old grandson and he's so excited to see the place so we took him there. He told that he's new house. We stayed there for a couple days and we have so much fun and my wife never ride anything before and her life when I took her to riding a water slide. She had so much fun. She said teaches the greatest birthday I ever have

We have been twice. Once with a relatively empty park and once with a very full park. Both times were a lot of fun. Finding seating wasn't bad at all. Food was always pretty fast and I enjoyed eating at each spot. The grain bowl from the barnyard was great. My kids had a blast, they were 1, 6, and 8.

Such a fun place for kids. Lots of great additional activities to keep kids busy while out of the pools.... at a price, of course. Found the rooms a little dated despite having a themed room. No attention to detail, only one bedside table which was bizarre as plenty of space for one either side. But colours, decor and furniture is dated. Rooms are not serviced during your stay. Restaurant staff are great, friendly and helpful.

Me and the four children that visited this water park were completely pleased with the overall experience. We purchased a one day pass for the water park. The kids ranged from 6 to 13 years old. One of the kids has special needs and also had such a great time they didn't want to leave. It was to navigate through the park, and the staff was friendly and helpful

We only went for Friday night. On Friday it wasn't super busy, so it was kind of nice. Several people fell at the kids area with the big bucket. Whatever they are doing to prevent slip and falls isn't working. We went back for a short time on Saturday and it was ridiculously busy. The lines were long, the pools were extremely crowded and there were unsupervised kids running around all over. The room was pretty nice but the bed wasn't very comfortable. The prices for food and drinks were crazy. They have rock climbing and a few other things that aren't included which I hate. It's like an extra $50 per person to be able to do the extras. Like $200+ a night isn't enough.

This place is just lovely! Very clean, amazing staff (Shout out to Emily who went above and beyond at our check in and then also the next day making sure everything was amazing!). The food is good, the resort is clean, and the water park is clean. The lifeguards are VERY serious about watching and checking even though it was not too busy this time of year but are also very friendly. Families were still having tons of fun. We did not bring kids, but as adults we had a lot of fun on slides, wave pool, and walking around enjoying the holiday decorations and fireplace!

Went for a birthday weekend it was so much fun! All the employees we encountered were super friendly and nice! The food tasted great compared to some other large hotels. Loved to see how attentive all the life guards were. Was a little sad there was no hot tub though. Loved the convenience of all the stops they offer on property dunkin, Ben and Jerry's, candy shop) glad to have all the slides and lazy river open! Can't wait to go back!

Great indoor waterpark for the area! Staff was nice. The $15 dollar towel check in and out is crazy, but I assume on weekends & busy season effective. Kinda goofy when they’re maybe worth three times less that value (old, worn towels given).

Everything thing was perfect until after I checked out, and the last person I spoke with was short and snippy. I witnessed his interactions with another visitor while i was being assisted by another agent ( I left some items in my room) and thought they must have really gotten on his nerves. The agent that assisted me asked me to return before I left to see if it was turned in. 10 minutes later, I decided to forget it and went back to the desk and advised them. He waited on me and said, " Didn't the last person you spoke with tell you about charge back?" wrote something on a sticky note and pushed it at me, "Go here, fill out the form....." Other than that interaction, our stay was great. The food is delicious and priced reasonably. Everyone else was pleasant and willing to assist you in any way they could. We had a ball. The kids enjoyed the Wolf den suite so much that they didn't leave the room the day we arrived. They played with the build a bear the acquired with their paw passes. After a good night's rest, they were ready for what one said was "an adventure of his lifetime." as we were leaving.

My daughter and I had a great experience at the water park, unfortunately not with the staff, especially their manager, who was a shorter man wearing a red staff shirt. I paid $15 for my locker, however, I still couldn’t open the locker, I assumed it was a simple technically issue. I asked for help, a couple of associates tried to help me immediately, but still couldn’t open it. They asked for help from their manager. He spent 15 mins checked his online purchase history and code input record; printed out the record, and told me that I tried to open the locker without buying it. I showed him my purchase record, which at that time was “pending” like most of others banks that would finalize the purchase in a couple of day. He said it’s gonna fall through. Well, guess what. It didn’t fall through, I indeed paid 15 for the locker. Overall, it was really bad customer service, all he was trying to do was to prove me wrong instead of trying to really help me. And calling me a liar in front of my 2 year old daughter. I don’t know why he would be a manger in a water park? Maybe a technical issue in the hiring process?

I run two pools and know the safety concerns behind running them. The lifeguards are constantly scanning and incredibly attentive to what is going on. I watched what I believe was two safety drills and each time the guard responded quickly and there was no hesitation when they entered the water. Finding guards is hard, having good guards is hard. Your guards are great!!

Great Wolf Lodge generally has a pleasant atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. However, I might find the prices a bit on the high side, and during some holiday periods, it can get quite crowded. They offer a variety of activities and, especially with the fun water parks for kids, it makes for a fantastic family vacation spot. But this popularity can also drive up the prices and lead to increased crowds during holiday seasons. Still, for those looking to have a great family getaway, Great Wolf Lodge can be an excellent choice in terms of fun and relaxation

I took my niece with my boyfriend as an early birthday gift. Let me just say it is totally worth the money. The staff are so helpful, the public events such as dance parties and trick or treating for Halloween, the room was spotless and smelled very clean, everything was just amazing. My niece said in the lazy River “it feels magical here” and it really does. Alex in magi quest and host to the obstacle course was so kind and sweet to my niece, and Liz was phenomenal with her entertainment in the dance party, I think they all deserve a raise for what they do. They both went all out to make it a good experience for the kids. I’m so happy with everything involved in our stay not a single complaint whatsoever. The food is also reasonable pricing, and the environment is so cozy. Also, when you check out you can access the water park still, and do all the events and activities as long as you’re out of the room and the staff holds on to your luggage until you’re ready to leave, which I thought was amazing cuz there’s just so much to do. We checked out at 2pm and just felt we didn’t have enough time and wanted to stay and do more and we were more than welcome and that was so nice. Thank you for making our stay absolutely amazing !

We had a great time att the Great Wolf Lodge! The staff are exceptional and our room was amazing and we love all the activities.. one thing that could be improved upon was that we had to wait for ice cream once night for a long time. They only had 1 gal working then they finally got 3 more people in. Otherwise our experience was great!!

5,000 kids in the pool/waterpark and the bathrooms are shockingly empty! Place was fantastic. If you want to have fun there, you will have fun. The staff was amazing. Besides weird circumstances, those complaining just are unhappy people. The person at the high ropes course did an incredible job walking through it as our 8 year old froze on the 3rd level. He was wonderful. The gentlemen working the wizard virtual wand tour desk was amazing. His passion for magic was infectious and reminded me to embrace the wizard wand magic with the kids. Recommend it to anyone! Only time we were in the room was bathroom breaks and sleeping.

No frills rooms but you aren't spending much time in your rooms anyway. The water park was fun even for older teens and parents. The staff did a great job, especially for teens. If I go again, I would spend 3 nights instead of two. We used it as a base of operations for other sightseeing in the area.

We spend my daughter’s birthday over night in our of the bunk bed rooms. The room was great and we got the birthday package which included balloons, door decorations and a huge cake! Good enough for like 15 people, luckily we had friends also staying there that weekend so we were able to share. Although my kids had a great time spending their birthday here. I have to give 2 stars overall because the facility is just dirty, from the pools to pool decks and bathrooms, it doesn’t make you want to go there. It seemed way over crowded.

First time staying here, needed an end of summer activity for my preschooler and with most pools being closed during the week it led us here! Clean rooms and overall clean environment. Pool filters could be a little stronger. So much to do for kids of various ages and loved the crafts & activities that took place in the lobby. My one suggestion would be for such a kid friendly place to have tubes with bottoms so the littles don't fall through. 10/10 experience.

Almost everyone was sooooooo friendly!! They were accommodating and kind. We did have a lot of problems with the fountain drinks in the pool area. You have to scan your cup for it to dispense the soda and it only gives you like 20 seconds to fill your cup and it shuts off. There was no carbonation so I wanted to dump it out and get juice but you can't use the same cup so you have to waste a perfectly good cup to get a new cup so you can scan it to fill it up. Other than that, all ages had fun at this hotel. The lines weren't bad. They had a super fun dance party with the kids at the pool during the day and another one in a different location at night. They had a fun scavenger hunt type thing. My daughter won a 1200 ticket jackpot playing this Prize is Right type wheel. They had rides the whole family could go on together and single rides for individuals. Lots and lots of fun!!!

Fun hotel/watermark for families w/kids. Arcade location in hotel was a bit inconvenient since you had to walk through it to get to the breakfast bar in the morning. Service personnel were friendly and helpful, just weren't enough of them around to answer questions/keep things running as efficiently as possible. I had a stay gifted to me, but I'm sure the rooms are pricey 😬

Room was nice enough design-wise but the windows do not open. So, I felt claustrophobic in there. We also found part of an eyelash extension in the bed linens and black spots on the shower curtain. Apart from the issues with our room, the common areas seemed very clean. However, everything was horribly expensive - the arcade ($25 for 100 credits - but every game costs around 10-15 credits). It took 10 minutes for one of my kids to use them all. We even considered going to Chuck E. Cheese instead of the in-resort arcade to curb our spending. And a bottle of iced coffee was over $7. Also, the rooms were a little stuffy, and the hallways smelled like chlorine (which is understandable being that it’s also a water park). I think it needed more ventilation, though. We also got a whiff of marijuana every now and again as we walked down the halls and through the parking lots. On a positive note, the staff were amazing (super accommodating) and made the stay much more positive. If I were to do this all over again, I would’ve paid extra for a room with a balcony and skipped the in-resort food and arcade.

Considering how chaotic it can be running a facility this big and popular, I was very satisfied with my two night stay. We had a great time and I felt very safe during the pool times. There will always be something which doesn’t quite go right on a trip; I feel the Lodge does a good job at attempting to minimize those chances.

Easy check in and check out! So many activities to do! Staff is welcoming and helpful. VERY clean! Always saw people walking around cleaning. The adult wristband was so handy! It was the Roomkey and you can make purchases on it! My kids had fun in their toddler sections!
