My husband, in-laws, and maid of honor and I stayed here the week of our wedding. This home is lovely, great food, peaceful grounds and a great experience. We will definitely come back we all loved our stay!

This place was amazing and I can't say enough good things about it! The house is cute and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious and they basically made everything to order with exactly what we wanted. Where else in the rural midwest can you wake up to amazing, fresh, vegan pancakes made exactly when you want them? John and Karen were delightful and incredibly welcoming. From inviting us in with delicious, fresh, homemade cookies, to making us hot chocolate and tea in the evenings, or opening up the pool and getting music started, they went out of their way to make us feel like much wanted guests. They kept a perfect balance of chatting with us enough to feel really welcoming without ever hovering or intruding. This is the perfect place for a little getaway!

Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary here. Karen and John could not be better hosts! The house was incredibly unique and the grounds were relaxing and charming. 18 min drive to Lake Geneva. Slept like a baby on the firm mattresses and nicely chilled room! The rooms do not have TVs but we actually preferred it that way! They have a little mini fridge upstairs w soda, water, and juice plus a Keurig. Didn’t get a chance to try the pool out but it looked very well maintained and inviting! Super super clean place and you can tell they care deeply about their guests health and safety. Recommend! We will be back!

I dont think I ever got to write a review, but I came across some old photos and it triggered my memory. I booked a weekend stay for my mom's birthday about 5 years ago. We had a great Stat! The property is beautiful and well-maintained. My hope is that we will get to visit again!

The house and grounds were beautiful. The interior was a cross between a library and museum with collections and works of art. The innkeepers, Karen and John, were the nicest people we've met in all of our B&B experiences. We'll stay there again.

Great owners, professionally run. Beautiful home that has history and new amenities too. Breakfast was nice and we enjoyed conversation learning about the owners and a bit about the home. 1 critique would be the description of the “lake view” room. We chose it instead of the “pond view” room because of course lake > pond. However, even with 90% of the leaves off the trees it was quite a stretch to make out the lake across the road. The pond view (facing side yard) was a much nicer view. Overall, great place I would revisit again.

This was an awesome experience. The service is absolutely outstanding, the location is great, the grounds are wonderful and the Innkeepers, John and Karen Anderson give impeccable service. The breakfast provided for our stay was exceptional! The two of them were very attentive, professional and a pure delight! They made my Birthday and our Couples getaway a wonderful experience and we had a great time! Best Birthday and Couples weekend getaway ever!!!

We had a mom's one-night getaway here this past weekend and it exceeded our expectations. John & Karen are lovely inn-keepers. The B&B is very clean and the antique decor adds to the charm. We rented the entire house for 16 of us with plenty of gathering room as well as separate spaces. The indoor pool was a bonus, the breakfast was delicious and the overall service was incredible. I felt like they went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and welcome. All communication prior to booking and arrival was great and with quick responses. We will be back!

We had our office retreat at Ye Olde Manor House and it was absolutely perfect. The Innkeepers are so attentive to detail and to making everything just right. The house is spacious and beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, with all kinds of fresh-from-the-garden ingredients. Just a fabulous experience all around.

We got lucky and found this beautiful bed and breakfast. We spent an evening there to celebrate Sweetest Day and we enjoyed ourselves. The house is big and beautiful. Very well kept and maintained. The bed was nice and firm. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking. We had a view of Lake Geneva from our room. They have a well maintained indoor heated swimming pool. The best part was the delicious breakfast made for us with ingredients from their garden. The owners Karen and John were kind, warm and friendly. We really enjoyed ourself and look forward to coming back soon!
