I would avoid this place, no help and rude people. I definitely have been to better immediate care centers where the staff is respectful and take their time to help someone (as it should be). The Doctor was rushed and acted like we were wasting his time and had no knowledge or maybe just didn’t care and above all he didn’t introduce himself? The front desk and Nurse or MA dispassionate and unmindful and too busy watching their TV show. Not worth your time at all.

My review is solely based on the Immediate Care NOT the Medical Group Family Medicine care. On more than one occasion for not only myself but also when my husband visited the Immediate Care, we saw Dr. Briggs and had horrible experiences, he has absolutely NO bedside manner and flat out doesn't listen to what the patient is saying. Why have a doctor there who doesn't seem interested in seeing or helping people?

Do not go here. Appointment times mean nothing. I made an early appointment at 8:30am so I could catch train to work. This is only 30 minutes after they open, but had to wait 35 minutes to get called. I questioned why such a long delay so early in the day and was told they had more walk-ins than usual. So, appointment time is meaningless here as you will be bumped by walk-ins. I walked out without seeing the doctor. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time.

Last year I tried to schedule an appt to get a flu shot only to be told repeatedly that they are out of the vaccine. I ended up getting the flu. This year I made an appt with the lab in Palatine for 3 PM today. Only to be told at 3:15 that they had run out. How incompetent is that? You would think they would match the number of doses they had with the number of patients coming in!!! I pay $1000/month for health insurance and I can't even get a flu shot let alone a shingles vaccine which I have been waiting two years for! Although me and my kids like Dr. Katz Pham, I will be changing providers.

Be prepared to wait and wait some more in a very anxious atmosphere. We have been here probably 10 times now and we have never, ever waited less than 30 minutes to be seen past our appointment time. Thats quite fast for them actually and I hope for those 30 minutes of wait when I visit here.. Most times it's a 45-55 minute wait time. The staff that works here are nice and cordial 99% of the time and so this is nothing personal to them, but perhaps they take on more patients than they should, which is causing such a huge backup. I will say this, the closer you are to lunch time, the longer your wait, so avoid lunch time hours if you can.

Nurse on duty was extremely rude and would not let me use a chair for support after he told me to take off my shoes and socks, as I had a foot injury. The doctor on duty was even worse. He did not introduce himself, nor did he give any post care instructions or suggested medications to take. He simply wanted my money and left. If you want a good AMITA Immediate Care facility, check out the location on Golf Rd. in Schaumburg. Do not come here under any circumstances.

I went here on a Sunday as my 2yo son had croup. I was reluctant to go due to the reviews, however, we had a wonderful experience. The nurse was amazing with my son. He made him feel really comfortable and even got him some stickers. He was also great with me by assuring me he was going to be just fine as croup can be a little scary when you first experience it. The doctor was also great and we were in and out in no time with some meds my son now refuses to take. :)

Although everybody left bad reviews I decided to still give this place to try considering they were the only one open on a Sunday that worked with my insurance. It feels like to me that nobody actually wants to do their job at this location as if you're aggravating them. The doctor that finally came into my room only spent three minutes with me before he said he couldn't do anything follow up with my primary care doctor and I came into the office with an earache hoping that he could prescribe something for the ear pain but you brush it off and said he saw nothing wrong with it but I know I'm experiencing ear pain I wonder how much they end up charging my insurance

I had a terrible experience. No courtesy! Bad attitude! They were wrong to prescribe me wrong shots. The Doctor corrected the staff, that I did not need that shot. They did my bloodwork. At the checkout, I told them that they misguided me for wrong shots... The nurse/assistant got upset with big attitude, got upset and said, they will Void my payment and Void all my tests... I can go get my service elsewhere! So, I did. I left. Will never go to this facility again! Worst experience ever!

An accident involving a broken bloody toe led us to come here for the first time and we are very glad we did. Everyone was very kind and gave us a warm welcome and the wait didn't take long. The diagnoses and treatment was very professional, all done with care. The medical assistants and doctors always kept a smile on their faces and naturally kept the atmosphere positive and encouraging which was very appreciative. Thank you very much Palatine Immediate Care for your help!

My experience there on several occasions have been less than satisfactory. The Doctors spoke to me in a condescending manor. I informed the Doctor about a possible hernia in my stomach as well as other issues and they looked past them, like they weren't really an issue. Most times, Ive had to get a second opinion. I believe they are there to collect money off of insurance and do very little care for their patients
