This
was
absolutely
an
awful
experience!
I
was
hosting
a
women's
retreat
at
the
Hampton
Inn
that's
located
across
the
street
from
the
restaurant.
I'd
placed
a
lunch
order
for
delivery
the
night
before
that
was
successfully
confirmed
using
my
credit
card.
The
afternoon
of
the
Retreat,
I
got
a
call
from
the
restaurant
in
the
middle
of
the
speaker
presentation
where
I
was
to
follow
shortly
stating
that
Doordash
had
cancelled
my
order
and
if
I
wanted
the
order
I
had
to
come
and
pick
it
up.
I
was
livid!
Well,
I
did
not
place
my
order
via
Doordash;
I
placed
it
directly
with
the
store.
When
I
corrected
the
employee,
she
then
came
clean
and
stated
that
they
did
not
have
a
driver
so
they
transferred
my
order
to
Doordash,
who
subsequently
cancelled
the
order.
Needless
to
say,
I
had
no
choice,
I
had
to
leave
the
meeting
to
pick
up
the
order.
When
I
got
in
my
car,
the
manager
called
to
reiterate
that
my
order
had
been
cancelled,
but
now
it
was
because
my
card
had
been
declined.
At
that
very
moment,
I
received
a
cancel
notice
from
the
store
stating
that
fact.
I
knew
it
was
a
lie!
The
order
went
through
fine
the
night
before.
Likely,
he
didn't
know
that
the
employee
had
told
me
what
the
deal
was.
When
I
get
there,
he
shows
me
the
Doordash
cancellation.
I
reiterate
that
I
did
not
place
my
order
with
Doordash.
He
then
confesses
to
transferring
the
order.
It's
now
a
farce!
I
paid
for
the
order
with
the
same
card
I'd
used
online...go
figure!
On
top
of
all
of
this,
a
sandwich
was
missing
from
the
order.
I
will
NEVER
use
this
location
for
any
future
events
and
wouldn't
recommend
it
to
others.
