Ribs & sauerkraut needed a bit more seasoning. The prime rib was perfect. Hofbrau Dunkel was excellent. My guest had the radler. That's a chunk of liver in her soup. Service was excellent, and the waitresses look great in their dirndles. 3/15/2022 Addition: I went here again with a friend. Last time, it was a business lunch. Difference is I had to pay my own bill this time, hehehe. Most dishes are on the expensive side, but this is an upscale place. They have a great selection of good beers, and they didn't even mention the junky ones. (Bud Light, etc.) They had 3 different kinds of Hofbrau; I tried the bock and the original lager (1/2 liters) this time. Both are great. My friend had a liter (!) of Hacker-Pschorr Weiss, which is always good. One thing to factor in if you're thinking about price is that a high quality appetizer course is included in the cost. If you're not sure, order one entree for two of you. That plus the appetizer may be enough. Or order two and take some home. The fresh rolls are excellent as is the paté. Their food is real quality and we're lucky to have this place in Keno. It's as good as The Berghoff in Chicago used to be. I hope the next generation carries it on!

Authentic German Cuisine at it's best. The food was delicious and the restaurant has a very unique style. Tables and chairs are a bit close together but still very cozy. Wonderful and very friendly service. The establishment is expensive, but well worth it because you pay for what you get, Plus you can try the escargot. Plenty of parking in rear of restaurant. A few handicap parking spots by main entrance.

This place is a gem, what an excellent service. The food was so delicious authentic German delicacies including the beer .The interior and sitting space was really cute 🥰 only thing we didn't knew was they had reservations which have to book by call . We didn't had reservation we walked in and yet the host made sure we are comfortable and have great time, which we really did. Oh man had a great weekend thank you House of Gerhard🍻.

Five of us had dinner, appetizers, and drinks. Everyone was very happy with everything. Prime rib, schweinshaxe, crusted chicken, sausage assortment... All was outstanding! Appetizers were also good. Came with rolls, coleslaw, and chocolate chip mini muffins. One of us is very fussy about potato pancakes. It speaks to their quality that they ordered some to go in addition to the ones they ate at dinner. Last but not least, our server Jennifer was also really good. She was there when we needed something (I think she reads minds) but not obtrusive in any way. It's not too often I encounter such great service.

This place is nothing short of amazing. We took a chance tonight and visited for our first time for my birthday. We love German food and usually frequent Mader’s in Milwaukee, this place is SO much better. The food, the atmosphere, the prices, the service, everything. Our server Avanti was extremely sweet, and all of the staff were so attentive. Every few minutes someone visited the table to make sure we didn’t need refills, to take plates, etc. You can tell this is a family run establishment, the staff were nice to each other in passing, saying “I appreciate you”/“thank you”/etc. It was such a nice environment. The free parking lot is a plus, and the prices for the portion sizes and food quality are great!! We ordered one appetizer and they brought out a bunch of extra goodies that were on the house! Since it was my birthday, they also brought out a dessert with a candle and sang happy birthday. We plan to come back, this place is such a hidden gem in Kenosha ❤️ thank you for such great service tonight!

Wunderbar! I was here on business and looked up restaurants in Kenosha and found this. Worth all the 5 star ratings. Great food, more than ample portions. Had the German sampler, was not disappointed. Friendly wait staff, our server Louise was as nice as could be. Just a friendly place, relaxed atmosphere with no rushing.

Excellent German cuisine with a supper club atmosphere. Many different German dishes prepared in traditional style. From the menus to the overall atmosphere, dining here feels likes a step back in time. Everyone enjoyed their meal and went home with leftovers. Highly recommend an ice cream drink for dessert. Can't wait to go back.

We had a great experience and our waitress was excellent. The food was excellent. 3 of us ordered Beef Stroganoff and the other was Prime Rib. For dessert we had Creme Brulee which was fantastic. Definitely will be going back

10 old Navy friends caught up over a beautiful four hour dinner. This giant pretzel was just a start, and then we had scallops, and prime rib, and a Reuben sandwich, and delicious French onion soup. The beer had a handle on the glass and delish.

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday and it was wonderful! The food was amazing, the decor was really comforting and the food was reminiscent of my childhood meals. Just top notch service all around. I wish we weren’t from out of town or else this would definitely be a regular spot for us
