For the people on here writing bad reviews about not wearing mask. If your that paranoid STAY HOME.... forever! The world does not have revolve around fear based media. While I work out at this gym I do not wear a mask and guess what it is NOT mandatory. So tired of the mask police already find a new hobby. This gym is alway clean, staff is very friendly and equipment is all fairly new. The best part Is their monthly rate is very reasonable. So to my fellow members please stop complaining, control issues is not a good look on anyone.

I have been going a few months now, and while the environment is fine the place clearly has some sort of bug problem. I have seen tiny critters here and there occasionally, which is fine and reasonable, but a few days ago I found one the size of a quarter just roaming around! I can’t even tell what this is, but it instantly made me feel poorly and I left the facility. As a black card member, I contemplate going back and renewing my membership for the next month. Very disappointing

So disappointed in the changes since summer. Awful tv choices, no use of back gym that Zip used. Why not use that huge gym??? Instead brought in a ton more machines and now it’s cramped—especially in what many of us used as a mat room. My daughter and I work out here, and I was going to convince my husband to leave Crunch for here. Not sure anymore. I have asked about the tv choices (after noticing no more HGTV or Bears games) and was told Planet Fitness bought a package of programming. It is terrible.

I can't say enough great things about Ryan Roviso the trainer. He is very knowledgeable , kind and a great motivator he keeps me going when I want to give up. I look forward to training with him each week he always has a smile on his face. You made a great choice hiring Ryan.

Worst gym company you can go too. The manager is pathetic. I cancelled my membership back in August and they still keep charging me every week. After fighting for them for a month or so. They finally refunded my money and now few days later they're charging me again. I am getting a lawyer and taking them to court. This business not only is terrible but the company needs to be shut down completely for fraud. I will be taking major steps to bring them down if they don't accommodate me and stop charging my bank card. I would highly recommend to NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY OF THEIR GYMS EVER!

The service in Planet Fitness is terrible, we initially bought a subscription to have a free cancellation but when we tried to cancel out subscription and the worker told us that he will, he never actually did it and we got charged for the next 2 months following , and they do not return the money. Be careful when you leave them, they can withdraw money from you. And who has already left them, check your accounts !!!!

I would rate this gym a solid 4 or 5 strictly based off the early morning experience I have had here. But they have recently decided to not be 24/5 and will only open at 5am on the weekdays. I use planet fitness strictly for their hours and location. When we called the manager she was pretty rude, dismissive and not understanding of the hours changing and couldn’t offer anything for the inconvenience. I will be looking elsewhere for a gym as I am sure other people will be.

Good thing the palatine location is closer to my house because i would cancel my membership after one day if this was my only option. i wanted to use the massage chair and literally just joined today and didn’t know how things worked. I stood at the counter for a few minutes while the girl was facing the other direction watching something on her phone. I tried to get her attention and was ignored. Its also really dark inside it doesnt look like theyre open if youre looking from outside.

Gym is always clean. Staff is always friendly, they are always wiping down stuff too. Good affordable price. Lots of equipment to use, I never have to wait for a machine. Love the massage chairs and hydro beds, perfect thing after a work out.

I don't think people that have positive things to say about this location have actually taken the time to post a review. I was hesitant to get a membership here due to the reviews, but I took the chance and I signed up here and I'm happy that I did. I'm still a pretty new member, but every time I've been here the gym has been super open making my workouts a breeze. Everything is clean and in order. As of right now, I have no complaints.

I called ahead before coming for a cardio day and was lied to. I called to confirm that they have hydromassage beds. I was told that they do but in reality, they have loungers. I wish I had known before I did cardio; I could have changed up my workout.

I recently joined PF and I have to say that it is just "meh." The layout of the place makes the free weight section cramped so I always feel like I'm in the way of other people. They also don't have enough weights, so I often find myself waiting for the dumbbells that I want to use. They also only have one butterfly machine in the whole gym. That thing is constantly being used so sometimes I never get to use it. PF, BUY MORE OF THE POPULAR EQUIPMENT! There are too many treadmills and stairclimbers, but not enough weight equipment. If this gym weren't so cheap in membership fees, I would probably go somewhere else. Heck, I still might leave even with the low prices...

It's clean. That's the only good thing I can say. I've been to 7 Planets and this one just has a dark depressing vibe. As soon as I walked in the front desk person looked absolutely miserable to be there, and the rest of the place had the same vibe. It was odd.

I am thrilled that this facility is open and it is always clean. I have started working with the physical trainer, Ryan, and he has been absolutely wonderful! He is accommodating and professional and knowledgeable. My mobility has increased tremendously in four weeks. Kudos for hiring him! The only downside is as I wish there were more availability for us to have one on one sessions with him.

Since I moved to Palatine its my favorite place .Friendly and professional staff. Always care about you if needed. I'm apologize for my English. You doing awesome job GUYS!🙏

I can’t say enough nice things about my trainer, Ryan. He makes me feel like l can accomplish my goals. He has a nice personality and is so easy going.

It’s a decent gym for the price. Machines don’t get fixed right away but the staff is nice and it’s clean for the most part. Summer is my least favorite time to go because they have teens working out for free I believe. They come in groups and just sit on the equipment while they talk or use their phones. They also don’t clean. Other than that I like it.

Good amount of new equipment. Plenty of space. Clean. Updated restrooms. Very good price. Can't really complain. Hours are shorter now but that's b/c of Covid. Once things return to normal, wish it can be open 24/7 instead of 24/5.

No mask required anywhere in facility past the front desk. I usually work out very early to avoid people. I appreciate the prompt response from the owner of this location. I would ask that the owner remind staff members of the policy in place.

Love Planet Fitness but I am very disappointed we can longer use the back gym. I used to go back there where it was Zip and loved doing my own workout using the free weights there away from all the boys. I am seriously considering changing gyms to one that offers a room like this because Planet Fitness No longer offers it.

Gym was nice, had a great workout, staff super friendly especially Kelly, she's the best!!! But the reason for only three stars, the shower curtains had mold on them. I advised the workers and said they'd take care of it. Hopefully they do!!!

I've really enjoyed working with my trainer Ryan. He has been awesome! I came to Planet Fitness 4 months after hip replacement surgery. I was looking for someone to help guide me in building strength and build good exercise habits. After 3 months, I can see and feel the progress that I've made. Ryan watches and corrects any issues when doing exercises to avoid injury. This is exactly the experience that was have been looking for with a gym.

Great gym. Every machine is super clean. There's a culture of cleaning up after yourself which I appreciate. And it's also very roomy and all the equipment is new.

Overall a good experience here. Locker rooms are well maintained most of the times. The staff I noticed have been on their phones alot and not keeping up with general upkeep like making sure paper towels are stocked at the various stations.

All this for way less than what you would pay at most gyms. Very affordable for almost any budget.

Gym is very clean and the staff is very friendly and a great atmosphere with low price. We Love coming here daily wish it was open 24/7.

Probably the second best planet fitness I have gone too. It’s clean and the staff is wonderful! The only downside is the ab machines. The machines are great but it would be nice to have at least 2 of the same machines. Otherwise, solid Planet Fitness!

Covid caused me to become a GYM JUMPER. Thank God for Katie, Jose and the staff at PF-AH! I finally once again have an awesome gym experience....daily!!!!

I like planet fitness, the music and people are low key/friendly/courteous and most days i can get in a workout without having to wait in line. Great for adults and teens alike.

Planet fitness in Arlington heights saved my life 😍 finally sticking to a healthy routine. the girls locker room is fully renovated, Hollywood lights around mirrors in bathroom, multiple areas to get ready, clean, adequate amount of machines, tanning area with a lounge, and hydrmassage suite. This place is so convenient. It allowed me to stay consistent because of how enjoyable, convenient and affordable it is ! So thank you so much planet fitness. I’ll be a loyal customer until I’m dead ☠️

When I went to Planet Fitness in Arlington Heights, I was very happy with cleanliness of the facility. Unfortunately, I am unable to continue my membership at this time.

I LOOOOOOOVE PLANET FITNESS! I started as a member of the Mundelein facility. Then I moved to Wheeling. I now belong to the Arlington Heights location and I love it just as much. The young people at the front desk are friendly and respectful. They bring a good vibe to the place. I love the machines and the fact that the people are regular people - not perfect bodies. Awesome. Love this place.

I walked into the gym today and the machines were so clean they were sparkling. The nice Hispanic guy at the front desk has gone above and beyond for my experience here to be a good one.

I have been a member of this gym form last 1 year I would suggest everyone to take care of the the fees they are charging you each month. They told me my account no more exist so they charged me member fee again and then on started charging me for 2 different account. The employees don’t know how to use computer they can hardly access the machine and enrol you in or out. And the experience to roll out was terrible. Hate the customer service.

Cheap and well maintained

I've been with PF Arlington Heights for a few years now, and have always found it to have warm and welcoming staff who are ready to help, assist, and guide you in various areas of health and fitness. The state of the art machines and fitness equipment is motivating, while the standard of cleanliness is very high. A great place to workout without disturbance!

Great gym always clean the district manager was very helpful. Staff is always friendly. Tanning beds are well worth the membership and the water massage bed is great after a hard workout.
