Get
new
women
at
the
front
desk!
Rude,
loud,
drill
sargeants!
I
was
told,
on
the
phone,
to
use
the
kiosk
to
copy
insurance
cards,
everything
else
done.
The
valet,
very
nice
man,
helped
my
mother-in-law
to
a
wheelchair
and
took
her
inside
while
I
parked.
These
women
started
asking
her
all
kinds
of
questions
that
she
has
no
idea
about.
She
was
upset
and
frazzled
when
I
came
in.
I
started
to
go
to
outpatient
and
they
started
hollering
for
me
to
stop,
they
needed
to
check
her
name
to
see
if
she
was
a
patient.
I
explained
what
I
was
told,
the
desk
woman
rifled
through
a
few
folders
then
she
directed
us
to
the
kiosk.
Why
would
they
need
her
name?
It
was
obvious
she
wasn't
a
patient.
The
valet
wheeled
her
in
the
front
door.
What
was
that
all
about?
If
she
was
being
admitted
I
was
still
going
the
right
way.
This
was
our
first
encounter.
Next...
we
had
30
minutes
to
wait
for
the
next
part
of
the
test
so
the
xray
technician,
she
was
wonderful,
put
a
blanket
around
my
mil
and
had
us
walk
to
the
gift
shop.
We
walked
in
front
of
the
desk
and
almost
to
the
gift
shop
when
the
women
at
the
desk
started
yelling
and
pointing
"What's
that!
What's
that!"
Everyone
stopped
and
turned
to
see
what
the
commotion
was
about.
Yes,
it
was
embarrassing
because
it
was
about
us.
No
gun,
blow
torch
or
axe,
just
a
little
old
lady
wearing
jeans,
hospital
gown
and
a
blanket
being
helped
to
walk.
They
calmed
down
when
I
explained
she's
having
a
test
and
needs
to
walk.
On
the
way
back
from
the
gift
shop
we
headed
for
the
bathroom.
Here
comes
one
of
the
women
at
the
desk,
definitely
not
discreet
to
"check
"
on
us!
WHY?
My
mil
can't
walk
fast
enough
to
make
a
break
for
it!
She
was
so
loud
with
her
intentions
I
could
hear
her
coming
through
the
closed
door!
But
when
she
opened
the
door
her
voice
lowered
and
she
sweetly
asked
"you
ladies
okay?
"
I
wanted
to
say
she's
pooping!
This
was
ridiculous!
How
many
elderly
people
are
causing
issues
in
the
lobby?
We
were
followed
into
the
bathroom!
My
other
complaint
is...
I
wasn't
told
this
test
was
going
to
be
3
hours.
The
only
thing
I
was
told
was
no
eating
or
drinking
after
midnight.
It
wasn't
until
I
picked
up
my
mil
and
had
the
orders
in
hand
that
I
found
out
she
wasn't
supposed
to
brush
her
teeth.
Shouldn't
this
be
marked
in
the
computer?
Lisa,
I
think
was
her
name,
was
very
pleasant
and
professional.
She
can't
be
expected
to
remember
every
test.
For
that
last
complaint....
you
don't
know
our
situation,
the
patient
can't
see
well.
Which
means
she
doesn't
read
well,
especially
with
small
print.
Her
daughter
took
her
to
the
doctor
appointment.
Then
me,
the
daughter
in
law,
luckily
I
was
off
of
work
and
able
to
take
the
early
appointment.
I'm
sure
we're
not
the
only
involved
family.
Complete
instructions
are
very
helpful
for
every
step
of
the
way.
As
for
Ingalls
hospital,
I
had
both
my
children
there
30+
years
ago.
My
doctor's
are
all
affiliated.
I
have
faith
and
confidence
in
them
and
the
facility.
This
experience
was
unique
but
important
to
be
told.
