Sushi is very good, prices are unbeatable and the service is phenomenal. They’re kind and genuine…something I rarely see these days. My boys and I love sushi and it’s the best place for a quick sushi night!! Our favorites are the salmon cado, tuna cado, spicy tuna and shrimp tempura.

So yummy!! The prices are nice and the sushi tasted fresh. When there wasn’t one that we wanted in the cooler, we ordered and it took under five minutes to come to us. Would definitely go back! 🍣 skip the McDonalds next door and stop in to see for yourself

Ordered online and picked up at the restaurant. You'll find the restaurant by the curbside of North Milwaukee Ave and olde half day road, which is adjacent to the strip mall outlet with the broken down and many potholes. Van's Sushi Cafe is very cozy. It seems to seat up to 4 ( 2x2 ) towards the left side with sushi containers close to the cashier and sushi preparation to the right side of the restaurant upon entering. Prices visually are at a bargain for their portions, but the freshness and taste didn't quite match what I was expecting had I gone to Sushi Yoru in Lake Zurich. I'm particularly mentioning the Maki rolls. The Rainbow roll, crunchy California roll, spicy tuna roll, and Tuna dragon roll were delicious.

Sushi is cheap and delicious, it was my first time having a wasabi crab roll and I loved it 😊

Always happy to visit Van's when I'm in the area. Decent sushi at a fair price. Don't be afraid to ask for custom rolls!!! Big fan of their crunchy Cali, salmoncado, and spicy tuna rolls. Huge supporter of less rice and more fillings. Please help keep them in business!!

Great place for take out. While variety isn't huge, the taste more than makes up for it. If you are not looking for fancy rolls, but want great tasting sushi, Van's is a wonderful option.

My husband and I (both from Japan) are very satisfied by their nigiris. The eat-in space is very small so it’s more for takeout. Their neta (fish that is on top of the rice) is big and we love it. Thank you for those affordable yet fresh&delicious sushis!!

Really good sushi with very friendly staff. The spring rolls were amazing, and the rolls are packaged very nicely with ginger as well as soy sauce and wasabi. One of the best rolls would have to be the Philadelphia roll. This is normally a take out sushi kind of restaurant but sitting inside is definitely very nice too

I gave 2 stars for atmosphere, because it’s only 2 tables in there. I see people eat in there but It’s not a restaurant …it’s pick up sushi little shop. Owners making them right in front of you and put box of sushi on the shelf and you can pick whatever you like. Sushi looks very good put together great taste , like in high end restaurant. Famous little shop for local, a lot of people in and out. Highly recommend if you in Lincolnshire area.

It’s Pre-made sushi and decent tasting. It can get busy during lunch and dinner because it’s very small it can’t handle a big crowd. if you’re looking to fill your sushi craving this is the place. This is mainly a take place. There are some chairs and one table with a few chairs to dine in.

This place is amazing! Always fresh fish and other ingredients, honest prices, and welcoming friendly staff. The taste of all items is phenomenal. We order here several times each week. Party trays are great too! Good for a quick lunch or carry out.

It didn’t look like much, but it was filling after a long trail run. And the fish and avocado tasted fresh. I think I found my new go-to sushi take-out spot here.

Absolutely love the price, freshness, and quality. This is such a gem! A take out box of a spicy tuna roll is under $8, which is super reasonable. It's also great that they have "raw" and "cooked" labels on the pre-packaged sushi options.

After meeting Van, I would have to say he's one of the most upstanding gentlemen I've had the pleasure to talk to recently.This man really knows his stuff, he knows how to make Sushi and Shashimi better than a master. As as a native of Burma/Myanmar, Van, his wife, and family family give their creations a distinct Burmese twist. If you want a delicious treat, make sure you stop in to his cafe, And let your taste buds explode!

Kind friendly owners best sushi I’ve found in area by far…. Have small dine in and carry out coolers that have high quality fresh sushi available if you are in a rush.:..definitely worth the trip if you enjoy sushi
