hi i went here in January 2024 i have few points to help others that i observed 1-- no need to get a tour just rent a car or a scooter and go there your self a very nice drive i rented a car so nice and easy and you can stop along the way good spots for pics . 2-- when you get there there are many shops and many people are sitting around offering you a boat to take you to to spots for snorkeling , completely ignore them . 3-- go straight there is a street along the beach one side is the car park don't park your car there drive to the opposite side and turn left . 4--- it will take you up a hill and then turn left where you will be stopped as there is a car park there they charge 5000 local currency you can park your car there for scoters its less money . 5--- park your car and there are stairs going down to the beach 6--- as you go down you will find local women will try to sell you stuff expect rip off prices 7-- once you keep going down you will see a little restaurant and you can rent the gear there the rate what she gave me was 50k for flippers and goggles - but then this price can be negotiated i was able to negotiate her for a better price . 8---go down to the beach find a spot and get in 9-- depends on the day and tides you will see fish for sure depends if you go a little deeper that's where you will see many fish but if you stay very shallow you will still see fish but not many . 10-- once you are finished you return your gear make sure don't loose the stuff as can happen with the tide if you loose they will charge you two times and can get extensive then so be careful place your snorkeling gear at a spot where the waves cant get to 11--- once you walk back after returning the gear they ask for 15000 per adult for shower and 5000 for renting the bathroom bit off a rip we did not use it and took our own towels and were able to get rid off most of the sand and then when you get back to you hotel have a shower or if you are happy to pay the 15000 that's your choice but i also noticed the locals were not charged that price the were charged much lower price . 12--- when i rented the snorkeling gear there was no time limit but i guess it depends if the beach is busy then they might put restrictions on you - also if you can take your own snorkeling gear better as the gear that they give you is not the best and water gets in so not the best experience but it works . pay the parking and that's it drive back . a good day we went with kids they had fun they seen many fish so it was a successful trip many locals will try to sell you everything and try to be your mate remember they are only talking to you as they want your money they are not concerned about your welfare and when you go to the beach you will notice the people who try to sell you the boat trip also bring all people to the same point where you are coming through the beach so its all a rip off scam so just go and do it your self instead of paying them for a boat trip you can also rent life jackets there as well for 25000 local currency which can be negotiated depending on how many you are getting (( when i asked her can yo do a better price she first said no as she said you are a tourist so i have to charge you more you are not a local )) but because i was getting many i was able to get a better price.. have fun a good experience for sure

Busy but still plenty of room for everyone. A fantastic afternoon snorkelling and enjoying the fish 🐟 The water was very clear and loads of fish to see. We went with our 7y/o who absolutely loved it. Very helpful guide too.

My favorite beach in Eastern of Bali, definitely a hidden gem with turquoise water and breathtaking view. Pay only for motorbike or car parking 2000 then the rest you could enjoy the beach! We can rent some lounge chair for 50k or simply sit on their local warung to taste the delicious meal. The waves are so gentle during dry season, so you could simply swim by the shore, or snorkel to the middle of the ocean. Plenty of beautiful fish!! There's snorkeling equipment to rent at warung costs only 50k. As it's located quite remotely, so there are only few visitors so you could enjoy the view with more serenity.. One of the most worthy natural destination in Bali.

Not too crowded beach. If you can make your own way there, then you can do snorkeling without paying, other than the small entrance fee. The beach is accessed by some easy steps down from the entrance. There is a small warung, selling food and drinks, good for a simple meal. Rental for umbrella, sundeck and snorkeling gears are available there too.

This place is beautiful spot for snorkeling! They do rent snorkeling equipment right there. You can rent sunbeds as well. There 2 restaurants so don't worry you won't get hungry. Also big chance you can see some monkeys

Pleasant place to snorkel without contending with strong currents. The corals and fishes are rather close to the surface so it is easy to get a good look at them. We rented snorkel and fins for IDR50,000 at a restaurant right at the beach. Life jackets go for IDR25,000 each. If you have your own mask, bring it - the quality of the gear left much to be desired. There are shower stalls for rent at IDR15,000 up the slope where the cars are parked. It's a place worth a visit if you are in the area.

The place was accessible by motorbike. I had fun snorkeling for 3 hours. It was lowtide though when I went and the waves were strong so it was difficult to get to the shore afterwards (I earned some cuts and bruises though it was my fault). Great underwater view but on some parts there was lots of garbages in the water which was so annoying. No facilities to wash up that is available for public use.

Very good place for snorkeling. A variety of tropical fish, beautiful corals, clear water. There is parking fee 2000 rupiah. Snorkel equipment can be rented from restaurants on the beach. 30-50 thousand rupees for a set for 2 hours.

A really nice white sand beach with blue water. It’s a good place to snorkel, but unfortunately the currents are quite strong, and need to watch out for the corals, otherwise you’ll get hurt. Entrance fee is free, but if you bring a motorbike, you will need 2k rupiah for parking.

Lovely little beach, hard to find on the east coast. The steps down and up are tough for over 70s like me but well built and safe (no hand rails). Water clarity could not be better and plenty of fish to see.

Blue Lagoon in my experience is one of the most beautiful places for snorkeling and enjoy day time. I paid 500 rp for one person snorkeling and in my opinion like you can get less through Klook app with the same price you will get with transfer. an experience that you never forget.

YES, the water is still clear, there are fish and the sky is blue. BUT there is also plastic everywhere in the water and on the beach. TONS of rubbish. A disgrace of nature and everybody living in Bali. Wake up it is very much time to take action. The lip service we provided so far is NOT ENOUGH!

Quiet and beautifull place. Very calm snorkeling, just rent your gear and use it for whole day. Watch out of snorkelling close to the shore if there are bigger waves its a bit dangerous because its possible to get hurt by hitting the corals. Just go deeper and the underwater world is just gorgeous there. Very good smoothies at the bar to your left when looking from the ocean side. 🙏

A beautiful place. The restaurant next door is very expensive for Bali, especially the islands. But the view still as stunning as the last time I visited.

The place is pretty dirty. You pay parking, they selling snacks, but Noone is willing to clean. There is so much rubbish in the water that it gets difficult to swim. Beach is also full of rubbish. Even parking area is full of rubbish. Fees: Street fee 5k, Parking 5k, shower 15k. We not tried the food, but we saw noodle cups in the resto, not a good sign...

For the views and clarity I would give a 5/5 and the amount of marine life and beautiful is amazing. However, this beach is so heavily polluted with plastic and rubbish it is terrible to see such a beautiful inlet polluted by this pollution. The water is so dense with plastic waste just like Kuta beach used to be, lots of plastic collecting alongside the rocks and caught amongst the coral, will not be long before the marine life will be gone due to them swallowing this plastic. You can rent snorkel equipment for IDR 50,000 however you will need to push a lot of plastic out of way and avoid plastic bags and bottles out of your way or else they will cling to you and your hair both on top and below the water :(

What a surprise to see such clean waters at Blue Lagoon beach. the place is busy with boat trips and the Main Street is short yet it has plenty of restaurants and places to stay. Fisherman show of their daily catch as well.

Very nice beach, snorkeling is okay, nice, small and beautiful. But be careful, the waves can be big and the currents can be very strong. Only for good swimmers.

The beach is so beautiful, you can do snorkling there and you can rent the tools in the restaurant along the beach. One of the beaches that you have to visit when you go to Bali.

The beach at Padangbai is quite beautiful, but the snorkelling at Blue Lagoon is not great. The water is murky and the reef is quite brown/grey. Very little fish variety.

One of the great snorkling experiences!. Costs 15k for entrance, that's 5k for entry and 10k for parking. (About $2 AU). While it was raining over most of the island this place had nothing but sunshine. We went to Virgin beach after this but preferred Blue lagoon much better

one of the most beautiful beaches in the eastern part of Bali. very clean beach. If you want to swim, it's better to come in the morning before 10 am, because the waves will rise. the place is very beautiful and beautiful. opposite the beach there are many cafes and villas. so very close to beach access 💙😍

Nice place. If you are not ready to go to Amed, this is worth going for snorkeling. 2k per bike parking, 15k/shower. Food is ok in warung on the beach. Also have rent of fins, masks, etc.

Great!!! Awesome!!! Especially on snorkeling experience, very recommended even for beginners. But the location is far from the city, more than 1 hour from Denpasar. Blue Ocean Dive is the one you are looking for, very friendly, helpfull, and their places are clean! I will definately coming back for their services!

First time diving here was really awesome seeing all the reef with fishes around. But soon we realized the reef has quite a substantial amount of coral bleaching due to the global climate warming 😢 I can only imagine the vast swath of corals this area has before the bleaching.

Clear and shallow water so you can walk pretty far to the middle of the sea. But beware of the wave and stone along the beach. It makes your feet hurt. But overall nice place to swim and enjoy Bali

Sad and dirty beach. Impossible to swim or sunbathe. If you are not diving - don’t even consider coming.

Try to see the beauty of nature from a different angle. Prepare Rp 5,000 to enter the traditional village and Rp 5,000 to park in the blue lagoon.

Went here for snorkeling with a group. It was a great experience!! A little away from Blue Lagoon is Tanjung Jepun, which is great for first time and beginner snorkelers. The water is calm and the reef is only 3-4 meters deep, so you can see a lot of fish up close. Blue Lagoon gets the name from its stunning blue sapphire waters! The day we went, it was a little choppy, but still not too bad. Definitely a must visit for snorkeling!

  • 5/5 Alan L. 1 year ago on Google
We arrived at 9am to find we had the beach to ourselves. The snorkeling there is the best I have experienced so close to the beach. The abundance of fish and corals was amazing. We left our bag at the beach warung and had cold drinks in the shade there.

  • 5/5 James T. 1 year ago on Google
Great snorkeling experience where we got to see colorful reefs and fish, and even a turtle! Snorkeling company was somewhat open to negotiating the price. $80 CAD for 2 people on a private boat. There were 2 stops and we could spend 1+ hours in each.

  • 5/5 Zico R. 1 year ago on Google
This hidden beach is very friendly for swimming and snorkeling activities. There are many beautiful fish that can be seen with your naked eye. You can find three slices of blue (light blue, turquoise, dark blue) on this white sand beach. Truly a feast for the eyes. For those who want to come here, it is highly recommended to come around 9-10 am.

  • 5/5 Widya K. 1 year ago on Google
A really nice private beach. So small it is indeed a lagoon. Only two restaurants are available if you are hungry. The street to go there is not as good as the one on well-known beach but the sea is definitely more blue.

  • 5/5 Jel M. 1 year ago on Google
Free entry to the beach. Nice and relaxed to go snorkeling. Walk into the water for like 3 meters and see fishes everywhere. Not that much colorfull coral
