we didn't sleep here but felt we should mention this A family member of ours stayed in this beautiful hotel and had her birthday on August 24, 2023. We emailed the hotel with a request if it was possible to surprise her And they did great a beautiful cake and she was serenaded by the staff she was completely surprised Great that the hotel picked up on this request so wonderfully 5 stars to the staff

I stayed here for two weeks- it was that good. The staff are incredible and treat you like family. They’re so accommodating and sweet. The food is great, they ask you about your stay and offer recommendations. The rooms are clean and quiet, plenty of linens and space it’s like a small apartment! Being right on the beach is also a huge plus. This place is so good you almost want to keep it private!

Kindest staff in while Bali, that will help you with anything. Food in the restaurant is delicious, definitely try the fish salad or satay. Pool is next to the sea, so you get some nice wind while sunbathing. Rooms are very spacious and clean.

Located at the eastern end of Candidasa beach, Puri Bagus provides a quiet location with amazing views of the Indian Ocean. The lobby is decorated in traditional Balinese style. The pool is beautiful and the gardens are well maintained. The Deluxe Seaview Room was clean and the staff was very friendly.

I highly recommend this place to everyone. This resort has special charm. You will feel relaxed from the first step that you enter. All the staff here are very welcoming, attentive and helpful - something from their hearts that you could feel. The location is right in front of the beach. You can rent a scooter to get around. Many restaurants and bars offer free pick-up and drop-off service. Our first time at this gem but definitely not our last. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent too! Candidasa is super chill and relax. Puri Bagus Candidasa Hotel is the best choice to stay.

Nice hotel, location is next to the beach. Restaurant menu is oké, prices are low so don't expect high cuisine. As everywhere in Bali, the staff is very friendly

We went there for diving and stayed in the puri Bagus resort because of the close proximity to the orca dive base. The breakfast buffet was very good, the staff is incredibly friendly and kind. The rooms are tidy and well air-conditioned. The hotel has a small restaurant where you can have lunch or dinner but there are also some warungs and other restaurants nearby if you don't want to eat in the hotel restaurant. Also the town of candidasa is not far by foot where you can find local supermarkets, stores on case you want to go shopping and more bars and restaurants.

The individual villas were beautiful and had everything we needed. Bathroom had an open air shower, but felt very clean and wasn’t crowded by insects at night. The AC worked very well. The only thing we were missing in the rooms was more electric sockets for charging, especially by the night stand. The internet connection can be very unstable. The staff is friendly, but most of them seem to be trainees right now, perhaps because of the recent pandemic closing. Sometimes they looked to be a bit unsure what to do, but there was always someone there to help. In a similar vein, the food options weren’t that many, and the dishes were quite basic. The place offers diving trips and a free lesson in the hotel pool. Make sure to visit virgin beach by boat (ca. 15 minutes ride) if the weather is good. A beautiful place to stay, especially if you’re looking to do water-related activities.

I'm from Australia and have travelled all over the world. Puri Bagus has to be the very best resort I've ever stayed in. My good friend Louise had her 60th birthday there and the staff went way beyond her wildest dreams, no charge. I am recommending Puri Bagus as the most outstanding resort for these reasons:- The staff, the location, the villa's, the cleanliness, the atmosphere but by far the beautiful staff. Please give this place a try, you will not be disappointed at all 10/10+++

We attended a 4 day retreat at the resort and it was a memorable stay.Lovely rooms and food.Wonderful staff and lovely manager and Sari .I enjoyed having early morning soak in the clear sea and evening sea floats as the tide is out.The shops and restaurants along Jln Raya Candidesa are only a 15min walk away too. Highly recommend this stretch by the sea.

Super nice and cozy resort with extremely beautiful sea view and royal garden view. You can feel the breeze from the mountain of the inner garden side and heard birds singing; stunning sea view and clear star sky in the evening. Idea place to take a slow week. Hotel colleagues are very friendly and helpful =)

One of the most relaxing hotels in Bali. Very, very clean rooms and a beautiful area. 5 star kitchen and service staff - congratulations! We haven't eaten this well in a long time. A huge thank you and respect to the great waitress EVA & SARI - she always sweetened our evening and the pool commissioned Mr. Wayan (he speaks German without an accent:)) Also to Miss ARYARTHI the Product manager: a very polite, professional and lovely lady. Thank you for your gestures and hospitality, we appreciate it. Despite a mishap, she made our holiday better with her nice manner. And also the other employees were so nice, cheerful and helpful! THANKS Those were the best three days in bali

We had an amazing few nights. The people were so friendly and accommodating, made it feel like a home away from home. They organized for us a great cooking class with 9 dishes where we learned a lot. As soon as we voiced that we wanted to do a yoga class, they organized one for us the next day. Breakfasts were delicious every morning with fresh pastries and smiling faces from the staff. we would definitely recommend this hotel for everybody

We spend 2 night, we book Deluxe Garden View (with breakfast). The room are big, their staff are friendly and very helpful. The pool was excellence. Best choice to enjoy Candidasa.

Excellent service, good food and beautiful place. I spent five nights in the resort for a meditation retreat. The staff took good care of us and made sure that we enjoyed our stay. Thank you to Puri Bagus and will definitely come back! I was eating most of the time in the resort but I was able to venture out. If you have time, check out the crispy duck at Warung Bintang, 27 min walk from the resort and the chocolate de resistance at Vincent’s, 10 min walk. Also, if you want to do an authentic water purification ceremony, check out Tirtha Gangga (30 mins from resort) or Samuan (2-hour drive) Ask for Jax +62 813-3731-1211 to drive you and arrange for the ceremony. Book in advance though. Hope this helps!
