gorgeous
restaurant
in
the
small
town
of
Candidasa
on
Bali’s
east
coast.
Monday
&
Thursday
nights
are
live
jazz
music;
we
dine
at
the
start
of
the
week
and
are
greeted
warmly
on
the
street
and
shown
to
our
table
outside
under
the
gently
swaying
palms
and
stars
above.
Candlelit
table
is
your
choice
inside
or
alfresco…
we
choose
outside
and
start
with
a
pre-dinner
cocktail,
which
like
all
cocktails
from
our
experiences
in
Bali
is
delicious
&
strong!
We
share
starters
of
cheese
croquet
and
mushroom
crostini,
which
are
both
crunchy,
delicious
and
are
accompanied
with
fresh
salad
leaves
&
edible
flowers.
For
our
mains
we
take
the
advantage
on
the
good
price
for
steak
and
have
the
beef
tenderloin,
which
is
a
perfectly
cooked
medium
rare,
served
with
fries
and
veggies
with
garlic
butter
for
him
and
mushroom
sauce
for
me.
Paired
with
a
bottle
of
NZ
Pinot
Gris,
we
are
delightfully
full
and
enjoy
chatting
with
our
lovely
waiter
Kadek
and
relaxing
as
the
sounds
of
jazz
piano
and
nighttime
jungle
echo
around
us.
