Almost all of the staff have worked here since the day Amankila opened it’s doors over 20 years ago - they are unbelievably passionate and kind. We almost didn’t stay here based on the reviews we read. However our experience here was everything we could have wanted and more. So much so we extended our stay and delayed our departure to Ubud. Very amazing view in this Hotel. I just had a lunch here (without stay), but the service was great & view was so… amazing beautiful! Love this place, eventho too far away. They had minum charge for spend at their restaurant. Of course a bir pricey but never get disappointed.

What we like is : - Unique design of the stairs, same style as Amanpuri Thailand . Comfortable to walk and interesting . Not boring. - Landscape simply beautiful - Villa design and vibes . - Good service in restaurant - Delicious authentic food . Menu is small but powerful - Good comfortable bed and pillows - Unique beach ( black sand) Resort boost our mood and make us Relax WHAT WE DOSNT LIKE AND disappointed IS: - Not clean in details. Villa after turn dawn service is DIRTY . Floor are sticky and oily . - Amenity very poor .. They also gave us already used slippers…what is not acceptable. - No one put new tea and coffe again after cleaning the room on new day . Its shock - weird and strange gifts during staying..candle holder, tissue in wrapping like a gift .. - NO SPA .. doesn’t have big peaceful Spa .. - Only 1 restaurant for breakfast lunch and dinner - BEACH zone dosnt look good and attractive…such a beautiful view and they didn’t use property for 100% .. Beach looks like public beach.. but yes, its clean.. Now they doing renovation, so cannot use completely beach pool and toilet, so they put plastic toilet… - Famous 3 pools in real life looks small and not wow ..

most disappointing hotel, the worlds worst Aman With high expectations this Aman undelivered on everything. Limited food menu , bad quality of food , often strange service with attitude? Nothing like other Amans I have stayed in.............ther are son many much better places to stay in Bali, so don't waste your money here!

Amazing experience, it is a decadent experience to find total seclusion in a private beach with a very nice suite. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I don't think there's a better place than the Amankila

My wife and I stayed here in July 2022. Overall, our stay was phenomenal. The resort is just stunning - the three tiered pool is jaw dropping. The service is impecable and every single detail is taken care of. Food was very good but had limited variety as only one restaurant was open during our stay. We had read some mediocre reviews of the room so we had moderate expectations. However, we absolutely loved the suite. The decoration was beautiful and timeless and did not feel run down, as other guests have mentioned. It had an historic touch that made it extra special. The only disappointment we had we was the beach. We were not expecting an outstanding beach, but we were disappointed to find a beach filled with garbage. We however, really enjoyed hanging out and relaxing by the beautiful pools. I’d really recommend this wonderful resort!

Located on a hill in eastern side of Bali, Amankila is truly an incredible resort. Everyone “wow” at the first sight of the three-tier swimming pool. The view is simply amazing. With a room number about 30, there is a total of 4 swimming pools, which is just crazy. A beautiful private black sand beach near the wonderful pool down the hill. It is a pity that the ocean is a bit of rough during the time of our stay and not many people are using it. There are also scattered garbage on the beach. We stayed for two nights and took a morning snorkeling trip. The aman XVI is a beautiful balinese outrigger and we enjoyed the snorkeling and cruising very much. The room(suite) is spacious and comfortable, although some rooms are lacking privacy as the guests can see the room from the passageway. There are no outlets next to the bed, which is a little bit inconvenient. However a latest TOTO neorest washlet in the toilet is a big plus. The resort is 30 years old but the beautiful palace-like architecture, lush vegetation and ivory paras sand stone building doest look old at all. What is best in an Aman hotel is its impeccable service, timeless beauty and homey feeling. Amankila is a wonderful hotel worthy of the price tag.

This hotel is beyond fantastic. Service is amazing. Pools and rooms are lovely, really nestled amongst the trees like you’re in a luxury treehouse. Staff are so helpful and friendly. Nearby black sand beach is super nice also.

There was a minor inconvenience one night and the staff went above and beyond to rectify the situation. They truly made it such an unbelievable experience. Aman Kila is definitely a place for people who wish to enjoy a quiet, relaxing Bali experience, stay away from noise. The service is no doubt 5 star from the beginning to the end. Every staff member will call your name rather than sir or madam, which makes you feel you are home! My wife and I spent 4 nights at Aman Kila and we both enjoyed there. You will feel like you are the only person on this planet when you are sitting in front of the ocean. Facilities are great and room services are outstanding. Restaurant offers really nice food - local or western both worth to try. Coffee - Kopi Bali is my love! And trust me you will addict to it if you are a real coffee lover! The only thing I might pick up is the little insects but it is Bali you just can't get away of it! Inside the villa room looks a bit dated except the smart toilet, but it is still ok with us. We will definitely come back!!!

Dear Amankila, Thank you for your hospitality, it was fascinating. Resort was well-maintained. No complain about your property. But, i was expecting more on your food. I found out the quality of your food at the italian dinner is need for improvement. The iberico pork chop and grilled octopus that we ordered last night were something i did not expect for. I'm so sorry. Anyway, we came here not for the food. But for the the quite and the luxury to enjoy. Cheers

Top top notch stay. The hotel was built in 1992, and the decor may look old, but don't get fooled by the cover. The service is exceptional. Rooms are refreshed every time we left. Even only for a quick trip to restaurant. The layout is perfect for our short stay, only need a few more electrical outlets. We use the daybed for quick naps, and the sofa for lounging. Breakfast and airport transfer is complimentary. Fresh mix juice is very good, I wish I can have more. The in-room japanese green tea and coffee are tasty. Ice cubes are always available. And with free milk delivered to room, we have unlimited milk coffee supplies. Japanese GM bid farewell to us, and brought us some good-luck charms, umbrellas, and wooden bag. Would love to stay again someday.
