Amazing place to visit. It is superb for photos and also learning about the rice fields amd the full farming process. It was not busy at all and has two great swings that we didnt need to queue to get on. Our guide was very knowlegable and friendly. This is a must view place in Bali.

We went here for a visit which cost 75k per person. It was a bit disappointing as flowers are not yet grown which is why plastic flowers were placed to create a nice scenery. Before we went for a day visit we considered to stay for one night. However, 1.000.000 per night for a simple tent hut is not appropriate in my opinion. Biggest issue was the animal feeding. Goats are kept in 1.5 x 1.5 m wood stables to please tourists while feeding them. However, we were told that the goats usually do not get to leave these small stable as they do not have any paddocks or similar for them. Also the stables are above ground so that the goats do not even stand on soil but have to stand on wood blanks. Safe time and money. Just go to regular rice terraces that are easy to find everywhere on Bali

Maha Gangga Valley, a cool, instagramable and newest tourist attraction located on the Tirta Gangga highway, Ababi village, Abang District, Karangasem Regency. As a new tourist spot, not many people know this place. The existence of Maha Gangga Valley certainly offers a new natural atmosphere for those who are already bored with coastal natural recreation areas, such as Kuta beach, Pandawa or other popular beaches in the South Bali area. The charm of green nature in the midst of natural terraced rice fields that always look green, is sure to fill your recreational activities during your vacation on the island of the Gods, Bali. The Maha Gangga Valley in Karangasem is also the same, the natural charm that is presented is also so beautiful and attractive, the terraced rice fields look beautiful with the background of Mount Lempuyang, from a distance to the south you can see the expanse of the blue sea of Ujung beach, to the northwest there is Mount Agung standing firmly. look awesome. This cool and green natural atmosphere makes your mind who visits this place refresh. Moreover, this recreation area in the middle of terraced rice fields is combined with beautiful rides such as a photogenic cone-shaped barn house, mini swing, bamboo alley, wooden bridge and a number of rides for other selfie photos. Especially in the morning, the sunrise at Maha Gangga Valley makes it look more perfect. This newest camping or camping recreation place in East Bali, is indeed quite unique with the various facilities and activities it offers, the tents are eco friendly and instagramable, the tracking path offered by Maha Gangga Valley is no less interesting, and suitable for children as an educational activity. natural. Along the way to enter the terraced rice fields which are still part of the Tirta Gangga tourism area, you will cross paths, rivers with clear water and 2 waterfalls which of course are still rarely known by tourists, you can even feel the freshness of the waterfall flowing in the river. . The camping site in Maha Gangga Valley is in the form of a small hut with thatched roof, one camping place (tent) can accommodate 2-4 people, a bonfire has been provided and it can even be used for grilling corn, you can also order food in this place from La Grande restaurant, a nearby restaurant they have in the Tirta Gangga tourist attraction area. If you are on vacation and staying at the Maha Gangga Valley, you are given free access without an entrance ticket at the La Grande Tirta Gangga waterpark. Maha Gangga Valley is indeed cool, not just relaxing to fill your weekend getaway, but being able to explore the surrounding natural recreation areas more easily.

Nice to stop but There’s a 75k entrance price per person, and a few simple attractions inside. Decent view of the surrounding area on a sunny day, and lots of “Instagrammable” spots, if that’s what you’re looking for. The staff are all very friendly, but there is an attempt to upsell at the entrance into a more expensive package. I had to ask if there’s a simple entrance fee without the add ons.

Nice experience on the swing through rice terrain. Too many spots for photography, you will get tired but spots will still be there. You should jee at least 2 hours in hand to have a good amount of photos and poses as per your choice. We reached just before the closing time , but team was so polite and kind gives us very good experience with different kind of swings, they had, also helped us with photos as till the light was there.

Came here again recently Aug 2023, restaurant is open now, food's not bad. Kids got to play at the waterfall, very clear water, happy kids⭐️ Not bad for a refreshing time with family. Nice walk through the ricefields, animals kids can interact with, great view 👌🏼

A great experience. Great walk through the rice fields. Our guide was very knowledgeable about different plants around the valley. There are a number of things to do. There is an entry fee and charges to do different things. We really enjoyed it.

We visited for lunch which was included in a tour of the eco-agriculture site. Absolutely fabulous in its diversity of produce and quality of food served. Well worth taking the time to travel out and immerse yourself in a part of Balinese lifestyle.

It's a beautiful place but at the entrance they ask you to pick what kind of ticket you want and it's very unclear what's happening. We chose a standard ticket (for the swing) and we were rushed through the property by some guide we did not ask for. I hardly had time to take a photo. To me it really felt like they rushed us because we paid for a basic ticket. It's an open space but they wouldn't even let us enjoy the view. They just show you all the things you "should have paid for in advance". The swing was awkward as well imo. It's a really huge tourist trap. The view is nice though.

Nice valley, Made with a lot of love! There are so many sweet details everywhere, like coconuts with faces and a love swing for example. Our guide Logod was very very kind and he explained beautiful things to us. He also cut a plant for us so we can see the spongy inside. I hope his boss knows how motivated he is to show the people the beautiful Valley 😊🙏 We got some nice pictures and the waterfall was also nice. It is possible to sleep there, but we just did a short 1 hour visit.

The food is overpriced and the menu is definitely limited, but the portion and taste is decent. Eat elsewhere before you come. I’d say it’s worth it if you’re looking to take some photos for social media and a quiet spot to do so away from large groups of tourists, but there are better views elsewhere.

Maha Gangga Valley is definitely a hidden gem!! Found this place completely by accident and upon the recommendation of our driver after a disappointing trip to Lempuyang Temple. A beautiful place with a peaceful view of the rice fields and a hidden waterfall; this place is a great place to visit away from the tourist-sy spots around the area. Prices are fair for both locals and foreigners (although for some foreigners it might be a bit steep, I think of it as supporting the local economy and for the upkeep of this beautiful place). The prices for the various optional activities there (swing, massage, tea/coffee tasting, bathing etc) can be a bit pricey but the general admission ticket is very much affordable. We only knew about their massage, glamping and river bathing service when we got there and thus were unprepared. We will definitely return next time we are in Bali. A definite recommend!

An interesting cooperative working farm and campsite. Had a great tour around by a guide. Not expensive to enter. Probably need 1 to 2 hours for a visit.

Great location on a working Balinese rice farm. We got the Trek package which included a hike through a stream with several small waterfalls. Very beautiful if you like being in nature. Bring Tevas or Chacos if you have them. Overall a great experience away from the crowds. Our guide Kadek was very friendly and did not rush us.

A great place, full of great people! Would suggest everyone to visit this wonderful place. Thanks, Kadek for being an exceptional guide. It was wonderful meeting you! P.S. - This place is a must visit while you're enroute to Tirtha Gangga temple or Lempuyang temple. You can easily skip Bali swing, and save time as this place has it's own deep valley swing

Very beautiful village with a stunning view! They have traditional balinese houses, a kitchen and other things there. The guide was very friendly and answered all questions. They have sun hats for free to wear there! It was a very nice experience with much new information about the balinese people and the culture. ‘Showering’ under the waterfall was great to cool down. Drinks were also very good.

After reading good opinions we went there. At the entrance, they propose different kind of packages for entry, the cheapest one was 150k per person that include an entry and swing(no option to come without swing). Because of good opinions on Google maps we agreed on it. In the territory we've not seen something special and the place is not worth to be seen at all. Plastic flowers, many cheap decorations and everything is not in Bali style. Afterwards we saw on the Facebook page that they have entry for 75k without swing. We showed it on the reception and after some discussions they returned us money for swing because we didn't want to use it. Btw 75k is also definitely too much for this attraction.

The visit was perfect. We were able to take very nice photos without tourists on them. It is very calm and the visit is guided in the heart of the rice fields.
