I
have
been
to
indonesia,
especially
Jogjakarta
many
times,
because
the
city
does
not
only
have
attractions
but
interesting
people
lifestyles.
I
must
admit
that
I
have
never
tried
anything
so
local
like
what
was
offered
to
me
and
my
friend
on
Sunday
October
22nd,
2023,
the
night
before
we
flew
home.
Our
friend,
Ms
Rani,
and
our
driver,
Mr.
Jackey,
showed
us
the
place.
I
wasn't
really
surprised
by
the
way
people
in
the
restaurant
ate
by
the
hands,
as,
in
fact,
eating
by
hands
has
always
been
the
culture
of
Asian
countries
including
Thailand
where
I
come
from,
even
though
this
is
only
practiced
in
remote
countryside
or
mountainous
areas
in
the
present
days.
The
taste
of
the
food
is
really
Indonesian,
compared
to
those
we
always
tried
on
the
main
bustling
Malioboro
Street,
which,
I
believe
have
been
made
to
suit
the
tongues
of
tourists
from
around
the
world.
The
reql
charm
of
the
place
is
how
the
food
was
put
in
small
containers
and
banana
leaves,
and
that
red
crushed
chilli
dish
that
seemed
to
go
well
with
any
dishes
ordered
to
be
placed
on
the
table
that
day.
I'm
not
the
person
really
into
spicy
food,
but
I
wanted
to
try
to
understand
the
actual
taste
of
the
food
local
people
eat
here.
If
you
can
spare
some
time
getting
a
driver
or
driving
by
yourself
away
from
the
downtown
Jogja,
oh
happen
to
tour
around
the
famous
Brammanan
or
Sewu
Chandi
sites,
do
ask
for
this
place.
If
you
are
lucky
enough
that
must
be
someone
around
speaking
English
to
help
you,
if
not
this
is
a
real
challenge
for
you
to
try
something
local
that
will
bring
you
an
unforgettable
memory
of
your
trip.
