Yes, it's a very popular place to dine. The food is yummy. A lot of choices for sambal. But you may find this place crowded and you have to be in line to get the seats. In addition, you have to wait for 20-40 minutes to wait for food to be served. Still it's worth waiting.

Decent meal and all employees are quite polite lads and lassies. That being said, sometimes they got a bit inefficient way of managing customer's seating arrangements during rush hours. Meal serving time quite long also every now and then, they mixed up orders, like customers that coming in later got their orders first. And then there were those groceries lads suddenly coming to our table offering all kinds of food ingredients and stuff it's just feels weird... hahaha,... do we stopped by at a restaurant or a traditional market? IMO Maybe instead of going from table to table, you could've just packed them nicely then arrange it beside cashier table. And ask lassie manning the cashier to offer them to customers as they check out, using last buy tactics like those supermarkets guys does.

I have been to indonesia, especially Jogjakarta many times, because the city does not only have attractions but interesting people lifestyles. I must admit that I have never tried anything so local like what was offered to me and my friend on Sunday October 22nd, 2023, the night before we flew home. Our friend, Ms Rani, and our driver, Mr. Jackey, showed us the place. I wasn't really surprised by the way people in the restaurant ate by the hands, as, in fact, eating by hands has always been the culture of Asian countries including Thailand where I come from, even though this is only practiced in remote countryside or mountainous areas in the present days. The taste of the food is really Indonesian, compared to those we always tried on the main bustling Malioboro Street, which, I believe have been made to suit the tongues of tourists from around the world. The reql charm of the place is how the food was put in small containers and banana leaves, and that red crushed chilli dish that seemed to go well with any dishes ordered to be placed on the table that day. I'm not the person really into spicy food, but I wanted to try to understand the actual taste of the food local people eat here. If you can spare some time getting a driver or driving by yourself away from the downtown Jogja, oh happen to tour around the famous Brammanan or Sewu Chandi sites, do ask for this place. If you are lucky enough that must be someone around speaking English to help you, if not this is a real challenge for you to try something local that will bring you an unforgettable memory of your trip.

They have lots type of chilli. Too bad some of them were unavailable. The service was nice but it's kinda slow. So you need to be patient. The price was cheap (around IDR 20,000 / person include drink). The taste was okay. The location was easy to find since it was directly at the main road. The parking spot for a car was quite troublesome since the parking spot was too small, but if you are riding a motorcycle, it isn't a big deal.

This place very extremely slow when serving food. Need 1 hour to get your food on the table and still not complete order. Never comeback to this place again.

We ate here three times. Each time there was a short wait (5-10 mins) as it is very popular. You fill out a form to order dishes. The staff don't speak English but are very sweet and there is a laminated English language version (if they can find it). Maybe it's a seasonal thing but we found it very difficult to get half-decent fruit juice during our month in Indonesia, but the mango juice we had here was among the best. Each time we had several small dishes and shared a single rice. We couldn't quite finish everything and the bill was never more than 43,000 rp total!
