Stayed with a hockey team, when we checked in we were greeted with a long list of rules due to previous teams not acting appropriately. It felt like being reprimanded at school, we had barely walked in the door. The hotel hold a credit card for damages, it’s not necessary to talk to a paying customer about any of the previous stays. The hot tub was broken and apparently if you even looked at it they planned to fine us or kick us out of the hotel. The hotel is definitely aging, the bathroom floor was loose and grout chunks were coming up. The breakfast was pretty minimal, ran out of food before service was over. The garage in the breakfast room was over flowing for our entire stay. There was spoiled milk on the floor. The only positive was the beds were comfortable. Would never stay again.

Between the 3 woman that were at the front desk, none of them understood how to fill a reservation. Made a reservation for 6 days, had an 800 dollar hold on my card (should have only been 520 after tax) they ended up charging me an extra day that I wasn't even there for. I would recommend avoiding doing business with unethical people.

I walked into my room and it was disgusting, the tub wasn’t cleaned, floors weren’t clean inside the bathroom and the floors weren’t vacuumed, overall gross when you have a toddler in the room with you. Thankfully the lady at the front desk was kind enough to put us in a new room! Second thing, I was waiting for my daughter to fall asleep, my father had put on the tv in the lobby so we weren’t just listening to the wind. This lady comes up to me while in the other room cleaning, she tells me “can you turn the tv off” I said yes, but I kind of looked at her confused all while I got the nastiest look I’ve ever gotten from someone, apparently I didn’t move quick enough and this lady tells me “TURN IT OFF!” Just very rude and disrespectful. Will NOT be staying here again.

Nothing great, nothing terrible. Definitely could use quite a bit more attention to detail... Definitely a two-star hotel.

I would personally rate this hotel a 4.5 maybe a 4.8. Reading other reviews of bad stays mine was no where near. I had found that entering the hotel has a very family vibe, when calling they said our hotel wasn't gonna be ready until about 30pm but when we got there at 11am or so they were able to get our room ready fairly quick! About 20 or 30mins. It concerned me a bit but after a walk through of the room a few smell tests and wiping my hand over everything it was pretty clean. Few spots needed to be touched up but that's really it. It seems to of had family members ranging a few years in age maintaining and cleaning the rooms. The only major complaints I would have were that at 9pm there was kids running up and down the halls screaming and yelling. There was a sign posted saying to be quite after 9pm. The pool area was nice but the concrete was chipping. The pool and hot tub seemed to have needed a bit of an overhaul. After 10pm it was suppose to be adult swim no kids allowed but there was still kids there up until 1010-1020pm so me and my fiancée just ended up leaving as it was hard to relax with the screeching of children. So if staff could be harder on these rules, and maybe give some more info on check in that would be awesome. P.S. the 12pm check out was just a life savor sleep in and not have to worry!

We stopped at the hotel for one night while visiting family in Chisholm. The room was good-sized and clean. In addition, all of the staff who we met were friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was a noisy refrigerator in the room. We will stay at the hotel on our next trip to Chisholm especially given that the room rate was a very good value.

I checked in at 2:30 am and went to my room. I had to use the bathroom, and there was urine in the toilet unflushed . Went to bed and woke up at 5 when my hand touched something in the bed. It was a used towel under the covers. Gross. Crumbs on the floor. Told the front desk, and they said he'll tell management. Pool and hot tub not working.

Amazing customer service!!! Every staff member was over the top accommodating. From the basics to over hearing us asking each other a question about what to do to them immediately offering assist. Room had a micro and mini fridge, which was perfect for us. They've got some really pretty remodeling / updating going on and revamping the pool area. Can't wait for the next trip to see the results.

Hotel was nice, room was clean. No elevator, and the pool was closed. Breakfast was pretty slim pickings, definitely could have used some more variety. I couldn’t even find a water option in the breakfast bar. And the walls to the rooms are thin, neighbors had music going loudly and we had to call the front desk, then had to go down to the lobby to talk to them a second time as the neighbors were still being loud and it was midnight. Walls need more sound proofing in general.

Employees were nice and helpful. Breakfast was a sad display. Bed had 1 pillow that was maybe an inch thick. I would choose to stay elsewhere if I did again

I called the Chisholm Inn & Suites to make a last minute one-night reservation over the phone. Rodney answered and was very helpful making my reservation for a room on the second floor. Since there is no elevator Rodney offered to help carry our bags up the stairs if needed. I thanked him for his offer and asked if there were any rooms available on the first floor, but they were sold out. When we arrived at the hotel, we found out there had been a cancellation for a room on the first floor, so Rodney took the time to grab that room for us. This place is a bit quirky in a fun way and definitely in need of a little TLC, but the people who work there were friendly and helpful, and I found the room rate to be quite reasonable. The breakfast was fine - just like one you'd get at any chain hotel. And it was very quiet the night we stayed there. Beds were clean and comfortable, shower pressure fantastic with plenty of hot water. I have no complaints whatsoever although I do find it a bit strange that there is no elevator.

Rooms were clean, some TLC needed on building, prices were fair. I would stay there again.

Google trying to breakup my marriage. I've never even stepped foot in this hotel. I gave it a 5 star because it looks good from the road.

Sports Team Managers - If you make a block of rooms for your team, be sure to get the link/contract/etc immediately. I was told over the phone our rooms would be held and a confirmation link would be sent to me soon. After waiting 4 weeks I called again to see if the link was ready. Despite keeping phone records of our calls, they claimed to have no idea what I was talking about, and no rooms were available for our weekend. Our team had to drop out of the Hibbing tournaments due to nowhere to stay. Very disappointed with the record keeping and organization of this hotel.

If you like intermittent hot water, no ice, and construction drills above your room at 6:30 AM this is the place or you.

Worst hotel I ever stayed at they quote you one price and when you check out the y say you you have to pay $90 more They go in your room when you're not there and open the window and leave the door open no regard for privacy or Property we go to Chisolm all the time but we will not stay there again!

I'm giving 1 star because I can't give zero stars. It's just gross all around. Outside looks nice. Wait till you get in a room! I will never return!

Got to our room to learn that the AC was broken. We would've simply opened the window, but the window screen was also torn. Further inspection the microwave was also broken.

The overall hotel was fine. It has been kept clean but is definitely showing its age. There is no elevator so if you have a lot of stuff or small kiddos the second floor isn't the best. The carpet is worn out by the stairs and things appear to be redone in earlier 2000's. Pool is nice and though the paint on the bottom is worn off in parts it is clean and a nice pool to swim in for kids. The chlorine in the pool does tend to make the hotel hallways smell of chlorine but it's not bad. Beds are a little older but if you are just wanting to crash and sleep they do the job just fine. Overall it's a good hotel that needs a few updates.

We were visiting family and stayed one night. The carpet in out room was all wet and the window was left open. Rain I am sure. The a/c unit was really, really old and looked musty. Ok location, but this room is way overpriced.

THERE IS NO ELEVATOR! The rooms were clean, the hotel is a little outdated. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast. The lady at the desk was nice. The only issues I had was We're older and on our way to Canada with a cooler full of frozen meals. We had to lug the cooler up 2 flights of stairs, along with our suitcases. If you're older, make sure you get the 1st floor. The ice maker and pool were out of order.
