Without a doubt, Supe showcases vegan dining experience on Penang Island as a culinary marvel. The charcoal ramen, with its superior quality and oat milk base infused with rich sesame seed flavors, stands as a shining example of culinary excellence. This dish is a true testament to the innovative and exceptional vegan cuisine. The mango sushi platter is another showstopper, a must-have on the menu. Dazzling in both taste and presentation, this dish holds its own on a global stage. In fact, it is unrivaled - a rare gem that draws diners from far and wide, for there is simply no better rendition to be found anywhere else in the world. Much more morable than any Michelin starred eateries around.

This place has a lot of character with one of its walls being completely covered by what looks like customer drawings and messages. It's completely vegan and their sushi is great! I enjoyed their noodle soup dish, though the fried rice needs some mock meat or something to round it out Has a very similar menu to "plant a seed" restaurant, which does a bit better ambiance wise

The vegan sushi was delicious! 🍱 They offer more than just sushi as well but I haven’t tried it yet - it sure looked good on the table next to me 🀀 Service is quick and super friendly, food was served quickly and beautifully presented. The interior of the restaurant is simple and calming. Will be back

One of the nicest vegan restaurants in town. Esp love the tempeh dish here. All other foods in the menu were also exceptionally delicious. We have vegan and non-vegan in the group and all of us like the food here.

Superstar supe! We had the 16 sushi platter, miso tempura ramen, spicy udon and a fried rice. One of the best vegan japanese food we have had. Service was also attentive and kind. Supe-er πŸ‘

First time for me to try vegan japanese food. Must say it was a different experience. Tried their Mango sushi, volcano fried rice and kombucha. Food was great and the staff were super friendly helping out to decide with their fantastic suggestions. Vegans who like to try Japanese cuisine, do visit and support.

This would be the first vegan sushi restaurant that we’ve been to. Staff were friendly and soft spoken. Good variety on their menu. My partner and I got the ramen - was delicious. And the mango sushi was sweet and had a colourful mix of flavours - was not disappointed. My partner liked the tempeh but it was not for me. The ambience could be improved but it was overall quite satisfying. Very glad there are vegan/vegetarian restaurants that are coming up.

Vegan place that serves mostly japanese cuisine Climate change maki sushi was decent, seaweed + mayo dressing overpowered the rice Supe tempeh was best with the accompanying dip. The batter didn't really add to the flavor. Fried Yasai Udon was ok, sauce wasn't too salty. Kitsune ramen. The broth had a good body despite being so deceptively simple looking.

Their signature tempeh is really delicious, pairs well with the tangy lemon juice. The unagi maki and signature maki are both flavourful. Would come back if I could to tey their ramen.

This is the third time I am coming here (everyday!). It's amazing and so delicious. I have tried the noodles, the curry tempeh, wakame, and the small sushi patter (S). It's honestly amazing and the price is affordable. The restaurant is rather small but cosy. I would come back any time!

Vegan Sushi! Definitely interesting food - creative plant-based Japanese restaurant. The mango rolls were my favourite. Although, they do have some tables- beat to Be prepared to sit on your bum for the full experience.

I ordered via Grab Food from your restaurant for my dinner. Thank you for your kind words written on the paper bag. It's really brighten my day. 😍And your Japanese Edammame Fried Rice is so delicious and I paired it with Grilled Shitake Mushroom makes it more tasty. I will definitely pay a visit to your restaurant soon.

Love this chain! I’ve tried it in KL and in Georgetown! I love the ramen bowl which is spicy, so watch out. I love spicy food and I find their normal to be spicy but good for me. I would be careful in going up. Also love the vegan sushi options! Everything is so good!

Tried takeaway and eating in. Takeaway arrived sooner than stated and it was delicious. Had the 'reward yourself' deal which was mixed sesame inside-out rolls, popcorn mushrooms and yasai fried noodles. Very good value and delicious. Excellent vegan food. I especially liked the popcorn mushrooms. In the restaurant had ramen and sushi, all fantastic.

This place is amazing!!!! Lovely setting with the friendliest staff. They are open everyday for lunch and dinner. We had a big sushi share plate, volcano rice (heat wasn't too spicey), miso soup, and a health soup (don't remember the name) and flower tea. All vegan.

I ordered 3 types of fried rice, in my opinion tempe fried rice is my type at here. The sushi also nice, because it's difficult to find vege sushi. Convenient can order and make payment through online. Just need to take away. Service good. Next time will come and try the Mee with soup.

After we left the restaurant, I really had the feeling that we stole from the restaurant owner. We were full of really tasty food and we hadnβ€˜t paid much for it. The restaurant specializes in vegan japanese cuisine, so we had ramen and for starters the popcorn mushroom. The poocorn mushroom were especially tasty, so we had to order a second batch. The ramen were also good. The staff was also very nice and even recommended some other vegan restaurants, when I talked to her about vegan cuisine in Georgetown. I highly recommend visiting this place.

Good taste with fair price, but not a good dine-in experience. Tables are small and quite uncomfortable to fit for 4 persons. Big portion of food, but they are using small and shallow plate+bowl, and giving us heavy thick metal spoon & fork, inconvenience to use. Waitress is friendly but kinda busy on her phone for the food delivery i guess. Miso noodles and SUPE noodles are full of umami and highly recommended.

Amazing food. Cozy place and the service was great. They even knew what gluten was and if they used it in their dish. Their maki is to die for. Especially the strawberry maki and the climate maki.

We arrived there at 20:30 and they were supposed to close at 21. The waitress explain us that they usually don't accept new costumers after at that time because last hour is to clean and people finish eating, but she made an exception for us and let us order if we were fast! We ordered ramen and was amazing! The price was so good for us that are backpacking, not expensive compared to other japanese Restaurants we checked and the quality was awesome! Must try the tempura and the ramen with tofu! That tofu was like a sponge, so filled with all the flavours from the ramen! Really recommend it! Quality-price awesome and the service was excellent as well! We would have repeted if we had more time for sure! The only con i would say is that the aluminium chopsticks are kind of difficult to use compared to all the other ones i tried, they are kind of slippery but you can get used to it after a few tries:)

Sushi was too clever with too many tastes from overly creative use of ingredients. Most of the drinks were sold out leaving only poor choices and water. Staff were nice and the restaurant was pleasant. When asking for a table with a chair, was told I wasn't old enough and need to sit on the floor. Thanks, I guess. But the biggest problem was the price. Far too expensive. Won't be back.

Great selection of sushi and Japanese curries. We had the large sharing platter and it was delicious. Quite unique to find vegan sushi that is so varied and tasty. Let down slightly by the service that is haphazard due to only one staff member. We had to wait quite a while to pay when we left as the one staff member was on her phone for ages, and then disappeared.

Attractively presented appetite-boosting vegatarian Japanese menu with spicy choices. Mildly congested table arrangements due to space constraints. Cordial and fast service.

My mom and I, we had the best vegan sushi of the year 2023 despite we haven't had sushi in many years. The food taste was incredible, vibe here was good and thr staff is very friendly. I truly recommend vegans to come and enjoy the sushi for dinner.

Great taste in cosy environment. Those looking for a healthy vegetarian meal should certainly consider a visit. They were late for one of my orders and ended up not charging for it. Excellent customer service indeed.

Incredibly tasty vegan food with good pricing, and the staff are very helpful and courteous too. There's even a very budget friendly dish available, but make sure you finish it! Nothing to complain about this place at all😁

Sushi Kitchen is such a good find for vegan sushi! You cannot see from the outside that they’re not serving fish. The menu has a wide variety - maki rolls, hand-made rolls, inari sushi, as well as rice and noodle dishes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The set menu looked like great value - as they even have vegan cakes.

I have always wanted to try SUPE when I first heard about the KL outlet... a rare offering of vegetarian Japanese food... but never had the chance to visit. However, fate as you may call it - as I'm in Penang for a short getaway.... walking, exploring Georgetown without any directions - I stumbled upon SUPE Penang! Situated around the corner from Lebuh Acheh, the restaurant poses an unassuming faΓ§ade. It's a small "boutique" establishment that gives one a sense of being at home. The sitting is limited with mixed of tables & tatami. The menu is great, offering vegetarian alternatives of the usual seafood or meat based Japanese cuisine & sushi. Food is nice, flavourful with spices & fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the sushi set! πŸ˜‹ If you are a vegetarian like me & fancy Japanese food, I hope you will visit SUPE & try them out. You will not be disappointed πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Ordered Grab food delivery and glad that SUPE vegan was on it as I was looking for vegan options. Food was a bit pricey but I will still eat it again. The popcorn "chicken" - mushroom was the best. The tempeh was decent too. Sushi seems to be the same fillings for those makis. Would be nice if there are more exciting flavours like vegan otah, vegan salmon, etc that sort of thing. The takeaway boxes are cute - though have to pay extra for them. Hopefully, will get to dine in the restaurant in the future.

A cosy place, my brother and I went last month in June when we were having a holiday there. The signature ramen is really spicy, which was eaten by my brother who can take spicy. I tried the black charcoal noodles - the broth is savoury and fragrant. The sushi mix is something you can try if you want to have the variety. There is an option with more sushi and variety too. There is a space where diners need to remove our shoes and sit down on the floor, like how Japanese people usually do. We love the vibes there and it is some place I would like to visit if I am back in Penang again!
