A pleasant stay at SAVV Hotel which is situated in a great location. It was close to several bus stops, cafes, and restaurants. They were so accommodating and allowed us to check out slightly later as well. The room was really clean - towels smelled so fresh! The pool was small but refreshing. Was surrounded by plants and had birds sounds playing to add to the vibe. It also had a jacuzzi function. Honestly a great place and would definitely love to return. Thanks for such a comfortable stay!

This place looks very shiny and new. The service was great. The rooms look clean and had a lot of amenities, including a hair dryer, kettle, safe, slippers, bath robes and toiletries. I really liked the fluffy pillows as well. It is also right across from the Chow jetty, and is walking distance (~15min) to the Chulia street hawker stalls. Highly recommend for a stay in Penang

Outstanding value as you get 2 good views. Location is close to the ferry, which is useful if you are connecting to the train in Butterworth. Room was spotlessly clean and staff was attentive. Hotel is well maintainedโ€ฆsomething that we unfortunately do not see often in Malaysia. The hotel used to be an office buildingโ€ฆseems like they retained the original facade and the original office parquet flooring in the rooms. Well done to the team in Savv Hotel!

We had a wonderful stay over New Year. The room was spacious with an incredible bath and terrace. We found town a little too busy on 31st December so we bought some beers from the minimart next door and relaxed on the terrace from where we could see multiple firework displays and watch the traffic madness and horns honking at midnight below. The security guard was always friendly, as were the reception team. The hotel is in the most perfect location. Would thoroughly recommend!

Safe, very clean and modern style hotel. Excellent choice for exploring Georgetown and a short 10 minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Management and all staff very friendly and giving above average service and advice. Foodies paradise with ample varied types of food and drinks nearby. Recommended. Will definitely reurn during future visits to Malaysia.

We just had a wonderful four nights stay in SAVV hotel. The whole property especially the room is really clean which to us is utmost important. Location is very good as there's a direct bus that comes from the airport and hotel is situated just less than five minutes walk away. Also CAT rapid bus service is also available which brought us round to places of interest. We will surely stay at the same hotel for our future visits to Penang.

The hotel is absolutely recommended! + top location (main spots within walking distance) + everything very clean and tidy + filter system for water so that can be drunk from the tap + very well maintained facility with good equipment + great pool area (enough for swimming a few lanes) in beautiful scenery with many plants + Terrace with sun beds and great view + courteous staff + high hygiene standards (remote control, door handles etc are obviously cleaned regularly) + Everything very sustainable (plastic and disposable items are avoided)

Amazing staff and service. Hotel itself is at a great location! Walking distance around all main attractions in Georgetown (clan jetties across the street) and food stalls. The room was super clean and the bathroom was really nice. Staff was really helpful with recommendations and tips during our travels!

Stayed there some time back and it was magnificent. Rooms were spotless, service was excellent and it felt very cozy and private. There's guarded secure parking below the hotel and the gate to it is closed at night and only opened for entry/ exit. Great view and good location with many restaurants and other things nearby. Sound proofing was excellent despite being along a busy road. Absolutely would recommend to everyone.

I love this hotel! Ideally located in the heritage zone, it is an oasis in the city with its splendid greenery especially around the pool area. The staff are friendly and informative (from front desk to housekeeping and security as well). My room is modern and clean with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom is so spacious, with quality interior designs. The filtered tap water is a thoughtful added bonus. Definitely value for money. Definitely will return!

I'll leave out the pictures of rooms as they are available here in quantities and up to date. !PLEASE CONSIDER! A large construction site is located next to the hotel. And when I talk about a large construction site, I also mean a big one. Construction noise from morning to evening. You can also have a room on the other side, but you can still hear it so massively that relaxation is not possible. And yes, a lot is being built in Malaysia at the moment, but the noise really exceeds the tolerable level. And I would like to expressly emphasize that I was often housed next to construction sites, but none of them was so loud. Also, this is not specified by Hotel before booking, which I also consider unprofessional.

These guys take cleanliness and hygiene very very seriously. The rooms and facilities are super clean and Location near the piers is excellent. Tip - If you want something exclusive - go for the room that has a large private terrace. It has a nice view and feels like a penthouse unit.

Liked: A new and nicely designed hotel in a good location that is near the old town area. Walkable distance to the art street and some of the tourist attractions. Nice street food just opposite the hotel. Room is big with a nice view and staffs are friendly. Disliked: There is only 1 chair in the room (no sofa or other sitting area). We prefer not to sit on the bed before shower, so there is totally no place for us to rest at night. Since the room is big enough, will suggest to have a small table and 2 small chair for resting purpose. There is a coffee machine in the room but no space to enjoy the coffee too. Swimming pool is way too small. It's more like for 3-4 kids to play that kind of kid pool only.

Place was very clean and comfortable. Everything was modern and the atmosphere was relaxing. Staff were helpful and flexible with us checking out a few hours later. We were able to walk basically everywhere we wanted to go and there was a bus stop nearby for when we went to Penang Hill. Would come again and would recommend to anyone coming to Georgetown.

Very clean and modern hotel with a security guard downstairs. Bikers can shortlist this hotel for stay overs. Room is very clean and nice. Bed is firm and pillow is soft but not too soft. Shower is great. strong shower with hot water. There's free wifi but range is not very good. For my room its only strong near the door Location wise it's not that ideal as it's pretty far from the town center where all the stuffs are. For the price it's pretty good. Only thing is sometimes there are noises that come from the bathroom. Maybe water pipe sounds when water is flowing

Excellent hotel. Clean, modern rooms, all appliances in tip top shape. Very friendly staff who gave tips for getting around. Location is perfect to explore the heritage sites (old town) and of course the jetties. Choice of several breakfasts, freshly prepared for you. Really recommended! (The rooms on the street/jetty side obviously have some road noise at night. And the pool is for chilling, not for swimming or deep water diving. Just as a heads up if you're bothered by such things)

Opted for the sea-facing Cabin Room - it was cosy, comfy & perfect for a solo. The bathroom is a generous size (considering the size of the room) with good shower, hairdryer & basic toiletries provided. Addition a retractable line to hang wet stuff would be great though. The room has a mini fridge, safe, electric jug, some tea/coffee packs, slippers, robe, hangers, among other things, for your use. Apparently, the water from the tap is well filtered & totally safe for drinking. Iron & ironing board are available upon request. The modern decor at the reception made it feel open & bright. There's a pretty outdoor area with a small pool, a few loungers, seating areas. The key card provided provides access your room, the lift & staircase gates. The reception is only manned from 8am till 11pm, but there's a security personnel on duty 24/7 at the counter on the ground floor. Location is good, surrounded by food & street art. There's a convenience stores nearby & some popular attractions are a short walk away. Big plus - it's very close to the main bus terminal with buses to go just about anywhere on the island. Personnel I'd encountered were all just lovely, but I was particularly amused & impressed with the security personnel I met when I'd first arrived - he showed me to the lift to bring me to the reception & while on my way up, he dashed up by stairs & voila! he there greet me when the lift door opened & point me to the reception. How fantastic! Overall, had a very good stay.

Not OKU friendly. Went to this hotel to โ€œborrowโ€ toilet as we cant Find disabled-friendly toilets nearby. I first went into the lobby (1st floor) and found there is washroom designed for disabled person. So I brought my Mum who is using a walking stick here. She was waiting in a car. When The receptionist Saw us, she asked why are we here. I told her my mum would like to use the toilet. She said If we are not checking in, we cannot use the toilet inside the hotel. take the lift down and asked the Security guard where the other toilet is. It was a rather small washroom for my mom. Mom used the toilet anyway. Writing this hoping the Staff could be more compassionate towards disabled people. Hopefully this is not a hotel Policy to be unfriendly towards non-customers.

We stayed at SAVV HOTEL, Weld Quay for a yoga retreat recently. Itโ€™s my second time at SAVV Hotel and I had an enjoyable stay. Itโ€™s a fairly new boutique hotel with a good location. Walking distance from Chulia Street and can easily find food nearby. The hotel is clean, they sanitize the key cards and you can drink from the tap. Parking at the hotel is limited. Approximately 10 slots in the hotel basement.

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. The moment we step in SAVV Hotel, we can feel the warmest welcome from the staff. Undescribable services to the management & the staff all are very friendly, even the guides. Upon check-in, our rooms were not ready, but at that time, we decided to leave our luggage at the hotel and then look for food. One of the management introduced us to eatery place nearby. She even introduced a few nice eateries places and even helped us to make reservations for nyonya food. The hotell environment is nice and clean. Not to mention the rooms are clean too. In the room, the hotel provided basic amenities. Water from the tap is safe for drinking. Great location within the tourist attractions area and street foods just walking distance. If you want to visit further attraction, just call Grab. We feel comfortable/enjoyed & satisfied during our stay at SAVV Hotel. Recommended place to stay. Will come back for our next visit. โค๏ธ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸโค๏ธ Gals with โค๏ธ from ๐Ÿ˜ป๐Ÿ˜ธ๐Ÿ˜ฝ๐Ÿ™€

Up to now our most wonderful stay in Malaysia. The hotel staff is super super friendly. They all were sooo kind to our little one. The hotel does not feel crowded. The swimming pool is an oasis of peace and includes a jacuzzi part. We had a seaside view room, very tidy with coffee availability. The hotel is also across the chew jetty. And a 10 min walk to the Armenian street. So a top location.

An amazing stay! My partner and I stayed for 3 nights. From the moment we stepped foot out of our Grab we were welcomed with smiles by the security guard taking us up to the lobby for even bigger smiles and welcoming by the BEST hotel receptionists we have experienced in a long time. The ladies at the front were so lovely and no question was left unanswered. From bringing us cups of water while we were chilling in the pool to umbrellas and just great dining advice. Thank you! Our room was on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool and Georgetown. The room and bathroom were very spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The shower pressure and hot water was AMAZING. The filtered water was a bonus and saved us from buying countless plastic bottles which we hate doing so that's a great thing the Savv have done to implement this. We would recommend everyone to stay here. The hotel is at an ideal location to Georgetown and nothing is more than a nice stroll away. Thank you Savv and we will be back!

Great location - right down/across the street from George Town ferry jetty. So many different kinds of eateries nearby you canโ€™t go hungry. Nice modern hotel, fairly new. Itโ€™s got everything you need: WiFi, Cold AC, hot shower, big flat screen TV, comfy beds, 24-hour security, Safe in the room, double-filtered tap water safe for drinking, kettle for coffee or tea (provided).

One of the best possible locations to stay in George Town - and the price is very fair. My room was always very clean, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel's laundry service is good. Hotel staff gave me a nice postcard and took care of its dispatch. Will definitely come back to this hotel whenever I revisit George Town.

Had the best stay at SAVV hotel, really loved it! The location was perfect - close to the ferry and the old city center with lots of nice places to eat. The hotel has a swimming pool to cool down, including complimentary beach towels. The room is big with the most amazing bed (REALLY big and comfy). Would definitely go back!

Nothing to complain The hotel is very good Especially the hospitality from the staff They even helped to hang my clothes outdoor so it become dry before I checked out. And they used WhatsApp to inform me which is very considerate. And for the room, ocean view is very good! The pool was too small and I donโ€™t think it is for swimming. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Good location, but if you drive or private hired car prepare for jam. Overall nice hotel and they upgraded for us. Just one thing is when we were there, the water pump for showering got issue with the pressure.

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed! Very well maintained even though they have been operating 2 years. Spotless clean. Front desk officers are very helpful. They allow my early checkin to facilitate my plan. Applaud their effort to go green, energy conservation. Room is well equipped and it is perfect for solo Traveller. Location is fantastic as well, within walking distance to many attractions and easy accessibility to public bus. They have strict adherence to SOP as well. Thank you and keep up the good works!

The customer service arnt great here. Shortage of staff. When i was back to collect my luggage, i requested to pack my luggage in the meeting room, it was around 6pm and the counter arnt busy with not a single traveller there for check in or needed any assistance but the staff said: "no, cos there's one more baggage left in the room" and make me pack my luggage out at the lobby area openly. I find it unplesant and if there's one more staff on shift someone would have been with me to witness my packing..or even this staff would also be able to do so too as there isnt anyone for her to serve at that moment!

This trip was sponateous, even the hotel booking was last minute on New Year's eve. We booked the room based on reviews and yes, it was absolutely delightful. The hotel follows strict SOP, security even sanitize your bags before entering the hotel. The room is spacious, equipped with Smart TV and a drinkable tap water! Way to go on saving the environment! The hotel is located at Pengkalan Weld, opposite Chew Jetty, plenty of food day and night. You won't regret choosing this place.

This hotel is insanely good. We had a super nice welcoming. The room had a good size for two people. AC was fully working. The pool was amazing. It is clear and the design is really good! You can ask the staff anything also via WhatsApp and they are all very engaged to help! I would really love coming back!

The best experience throughout my two-week journey in Malaysia. I could see the pier and sea from my cabin room. - Spacious bathroom. Even though the room was small, the shower room and bath room in general was clean, spacious, and bright. - Friendly staff. They were very busy, but they were very professional and managed to respond to my query in time. - Very clean and well maintained. - The room has everything you need. Big TV, bathrobe, safe, kettle, slipper, double-layered curtain, fridge, hair dryer...etc. - There's a pool and an outdoor space with tables a chairs where you can chill or work...etc

From the moment we arrived we both knew that we had absolutely made the right choice of hotel. All of the team were incredibly helpful - from organising our laundry to arranging a room switch to one with a balcony. The hotel is spotlessly clean, security at the front gate makes it feel very safe and the oasis offered by the pool is a welcome escape from the heat. The hotel is right in the centre of the core Georgetown heritage zone making all of the sights easily accessible (it is literally opposite the Chew Jetty) and the abundance of restaurants and bars on the doorstep are fabulous (Tiger Food Jetty almost next door) for trips further afield, Grab is fabulous and so easy to use We loved our time at the SAVV and if we return to Georgetown there will be no other choice - itโ€™s fabulous value for money. Thoroughly recommend!

Met a few staffs during my stay, all are helpful and friendly. Really listen and share more when you feedback. Good location especially i was heading to jetty for ferry after checking out. Simple breakfast served at poolside, breezing atmosphere. Impressed by their effort in reducing usage of disposable stuffs, especially water bottles. Why? Stay a night there and find out. =)

One thing I like the most from SAVV hotel is the sparkling cleanliness of the reception and also their thoroughness in ensuring the SOP is followed. Bed is comfortable, view is lovely, pool is nice (although quite small). If you are very particular with cleanliness and looking for value for money hotel in Penang, SAVV hotel is highly recommended.

Excellent location - close to the jetty, the old town, bars and eateries. Extremely clean room. Powerful shower which is always nice. Downsides: Wifi in my room on level 1 was quite poor and my room overlooked a 24hr Shell petrol station, but blackout curtains helped at night.

The environment of this house is very good and comfortable, but the clean part needs to be strengthened. Then if you come to rest and work, and then you are alone, I do not recommend it. The sound insulation here is not very good, which may affect the rest.
