Good customer service. All staff served me with wonderful smile and hospitality!! They were very polite and felt they were very welcoming. They have non dairy milk option (soy and oats)!! I wish I could chose outdoor tables next time. It can be good for date 😍

Fresh food, amazing ingredients, taste fabulous although it look simple. Stuffs were happily serving, cooking which makes your meal pleasant. Coffee is nice as well. Avocado is generous, added a pork sausage, nicely done. Great work.

Great place for brunch. The earl grey pancakes made an impression and i highly recommend that. The savory breakfast and coffee is good as well. Very good ambience, esp the backyard with a mini garden. This place is also quite busy on a weekend afternoon.

Exceptional service. Cheese sandwich was well toasted with generous filling. Avocado and poached eggs was nice too. However couldn’t taste the earl gray in their Earl gray pancake.

Great food in good location with very expat aesthetics. I had the pasta and it’s really flavourful. Had a bite of my friends’ burger and I wasn’t disappointed at all. It’s a little bit too pricey but I guess it’s kinda worth the money.

Went here on a Saturday morning for breakfast and managed to get seats without a booking. The food for me was a miss - the earl grey pancake didn’t have much of an earl grey taste. The scrambled egg was super buttery to the point that I found it hard to finish. Coffee was nice and smooth so that’s the only item I had that I would recommend.

Awesome place for breakfast. Can require some waiting time, but we were lucky to get a place quickly. We tried the Avocado with Poached Eggs (sunny side up option is also there) and the Grilled Cheese Toast + Tomato Soup dip and a side of Portabella Mushrooms. Lip smacking! For the dessert, we had the large Tiramisu which can be shared by 4 people. One of the best I've had! Definitely recommend this place for a wholesome and scrumptious breakfast.

Coffee is very good here! Was pleasantly surprised and expectations were low at first. The breakfast menu is great too. Kept it simple and got the scrambled eggs with toast and added a side of sausage. The eggs have cream and milk in them to get that silky finish and perfectly balanced even eaten with buttered toast. Got to admit things are a little bit pricy here but the location is pretty central. They will help to adjust your orders to your liking. Just ask when ordering.

Nice spot in town for brunch. Coffee is good and the food is decent. Preciously had the Avo poach eggs and prefer that to the grilled sandwich. Lots of seats with a nice outdoorsie section inside but non-air conditioned. Place gets very busy all morning on a weekday and tables are close to each other. A little pricey imo and too close for my comfort. Had to keep waving at the staff to get attention or walk up to the counter. Always make a reservation to avoid queuing

Ordered Earl Grey Pancakes, Poached Eggs with Avocado, Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Reuben Sandwich. Pancakes seems simple 3-piece with chocolate sauce, a half of pear and crushed nuts. Nothing really wow… Find it super overpriced. Grilled cheese sandwich is pretty good and again, very simple toast bread with cheese, plus a simple light favoured tomato soup. Overpriced. Poach eggs with avocado (guacamole). Simple taste. Reuben sandwich is quite okay. Not anything above average. Overall, for the price tags, it’s not up to the standard or delivering the worth it value. The outdoor setting is nice though, but due to its a public holiday, dine in time is limit to 1hr. Well, it’s not going to bring me there for a second time.

My weekend favourite brunch place now! Just for the weekend special, weekend eggs. The salmon with porch eggs are great combination. The tiramisu is another dessert I like. The take away and dine in are different in portion, take away is bigger. Plus point is the staffs here are friendly and good in service. Only thing is the social distancing, there might not be a lot of seats available. Yet, worth to wait (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Fluffy earl grey pancakes with the right sweetness, accompanied by an excellent crumble and poached pear making the dish well balanced overall. Grilled cheese sandwich was pleasant and buttery without being overly oily/ salty, though would prefer if the portion was a tad bigger for the price. Nice outdoor vibes and good service. Defo go for the pancakes!

The grilled cheese sandwiches were so good!!! They were totally not the regular grilled cheese sandwiches. The earl grey pancakes were as good as the time I had them through grabfood though I'd wish they could serve more sauce separately. The mocha (not pictured) was very chocolatey and yummy too! Sitting outdoors was another big plus! Only downside was that the dining time was limited to an hour so it is not a place I would recommend for catch-ups.

Yummms! Great place for brunch/ lunch… very limited menu but everything on it is well curated and made to taste good plus they use very high quality produce that heroes the ingredient. Had the chicken salad which was so good, sizeable portion, added smashed avocado on the side which made it even better. Love love the sides we ordered to share - grilled portobello mushroom and wilted spinach which is lightly seasoned to bring out the true flavour. Shared the French toast as dessert.. super yums, not too sweet, with the softest brioche that goes so well with the tart strawberries dipped in white chocolate. Must come back to try the bread as I think it’s what they are famous for.

Every city has a restaurant that’s ahead of the game. Singapore has Punch. The atmosphere, the food, the service… great place to go to for breakfast, lunch or any time of the day really. One thing I’d say is that the cheesy sandwich was perhaps bit dry, others seem to say the same thing. Add more cheese or cover it from both sides? 🧀you can’t go wrong with more cheese…

Have mixed feelings about this place. I liked the decor and the vibe but wasn’t amazed by food or service. Waiters were fast and attentive but they literally didn’t say a single word to us 😀 not even when bringing the food. We ordered avo/poached egg that was really good. Also tried scrambled eggs which I didn’t like. Chef added too much butter or cream, not sure. Eggs were so heavy that I felt nauseous for a few hours.

Loved the vibes at punch this morning. The croque madame and earl grey pancakes were scrumptious. 😋 It's a small place, and if there's a chance for you to sit outside I definitely recommend it.

Went for lunch. Laksa burger - Not much laksa taste. Aglio Olio - tiger prawn was quite small. Taste was ok. Coffee was good in general. We tried long black, latte and cappuccino. Tiramisu is not too soft and wet. Pricing is above average. Probably more suitable for breakfast, coffee and dessert. Reservation - 24hr in advance. Walk in ok Second visit - made reservations. Service was still good. This time i tried the sandwich. It was good n filling. Better to share ☺️

Good food and quick service. Open kitchen so you can see the chiefs preparing your meal if you are at the high chairs. There is a small outside sitting area with fan around. Good for a quick eat. Maybe a little noisy for a chat.

Visited twice, both times early on Saturday mornings. The small cafe filled up quickly. Easy to see why, with the tasty and nicely presented food. Tried the excellent grilled cheese sandwich, beautiful French toast, and avocado and poached eggs on Vegemite toast. Had the iced wicked (mint mocha) and iced Generra (orange mocha) which were both refreshing and chocolatey. Will be back for the pancakes that many others seemed to be ordering!

Top marks in terms of its service, drinks, and the entire ambiance. We stopped by and had the breakfast mule and pineapple slushie - totally refreshing! They also offer a wide variety of food, totally suitable for the health-conscious, including vegans! A place I would certainly return to. The outdoor seating area is stylish and well-ventilated and offers the comfort and privacy you desire. This place has been consistent in what it offers and has upped its standards in its service and quality if drinks!

Visited on 10 June at 8:30am. It’s my second visit to Punch and I still loved it all the same! Ordered the Earl grey pancakes and I found it the right portion size for me. Some may find it rather on the smaller end if you have a big appetite. I liked that you could actually taste the Earl grey coming through. Also ordered the French Toast which wasn’t overly sweet despite the white chocolate, crème fraîche and caramel drizzle. We also had the scrambled eggs which were supper fluffy and delicious. The vibes of the place are really chill and would recommend sitting out back if you can!

Food was okay. I ordered french toast but i found it was quite dry and not a lot of sauce. I ordered their Avocado toast dish and this ine was better. Place was quite lively and staff was very friendly. I can tell they are really happy when customers come and they welcome you readily. Aunty serving was also very attentive. I do hope they become more successful in the future!

Service is good. I had the cheese sandwich with tomato soup which is tasty. My friend had the earl grey pancake which is good too. Coffee is ok but I prefer it stronger. Overall not bad but indoor seating is near the cooking area which make me smell oily when I left the place.

A beautiful, rustic enclave close to Clarke Quay MRT. The outdoor seats were quaint and surprising cooling. Staff was attentive and friendly. We had the Grilled Cheese Sandwich and Beef Burger, both of which were well made and tasty. Will definitely drop by next time if I'm in the vicinity.

Prolly one of the best brunch spots I’ve been too. We arrived at 0900hes, and by 0930hrs, the place was already filled up. Had the earl grey pancakes - which had a nice fluff to it, and it wasn’t too sweet as expected! Really love the chocolate coated pear! The weekender eggs was fantastic! Only wish was a little more hollandaise sauce, because I couldn’t get enough of it! Waiting time for food is generally reasonable. Staff were very friendly and attentive, and incredibly professional. Well done for the excellent service! I love how this is also a dog friendly place! Definitely coming back for more!

Cheese sandwich was decent simply because it’s one comfort food that is hard to go wrong. Other than that, looks wise was pale, taste wise nothing extra special or wow about the toast. Tried the early grey hotcakes too, nice pancakes except that the chocolate sauce on it could have been more as after eating a while, felt that the pancakes were too dry.

We loved this spot while visiting Singapore!! We loved it so much, we went back two mornings in a row for breakfast, lol! We loved their banana porridge, avocado toast and early grey pancakes. All so well thought out and so flavourful. The service was excellent as well. It’s a perfect breakfast/brunch spot!

I remember this place to be MUCH better just a few years ago. Came here on Boxing Day 2023 and the food was incredibly mid, unoriginal and overpriced. I know it’s a cafe and basic food is to be expected but competition in f&b is so stiff now and this place has been thriving for so long, do better! Service was very attentive though. Pity.

We absolutely loved visiting Punch! We've come from Melbourne where we are known for our coffee and breakfast/brunch spots & visiting punch was incredible. The creamy, perfectly made coffee and Vegemite on the menu reminded us of home. The atmosphere is amazing with beautiful greenery and being able to watch your food being made. It's the best place to get coffee and amazing food with the best eggs we've ever had!

My first time here with a friend who recommended this place. The food was good and the place was busy at lunch hour. Encountered an unpleasant experience while I’m still halfway eating my food I was asked to move to another table to make way for another customer ! This is totally unacceptable no matter how polite the waitress put it … Hope this thing shouldn’t happen again.

Nice place, delicious food! Toast with avocado was great. Good portion size. Only thing is that some fruits on my fruit plate tasted funny (they probably used same cutting board from onions or garlic). I gave feedback to staff that were really nice.

Great place for coffee and breakfast. Food was excellent and service immaculate. 2 of us had the Earl Grey pancakes, Avocado and poached eggs with 2 sides and 2 coffee for about $75. I thought that was a little more expensive than most other places I've visited.

Best coffee we have had in a while. We got a flat white and a long black. Both cups 10/10. The food was also amazing. The kids were also super happy with their grilled cheese sandwiches. Friendly staff 🙏💯

Nice cozy place near Hong Lim park. For parking it's either the limited parallel street parking or the small car park opposite. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and good with their service. Water was served the moment we were seated after a short wait. The French toast and Earl grey pancakes were delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. The grilled cheese and Dean's breakfast were yummy and not too over whelming. Coffee were the other highlights. Cappuccino and iced mocha were great tasting. Only downside were probably the size of the Cafe which was small but easily overlooked due to the quality of the food and coffee as well as the great service.

Ordered the avocado toast & smoked salmon thick toast with some eggs. I like the vibe there, good brunch place. Had iced white & pineapple smoothie. I REALLY LOVED THE PINEAPPLE SMOOTHIE! There was basil in it, making it really refreshing!!! But minus 1 star because there were some plastic bits inside :( and I ate some. Good thing, they gave some discount. Overall, it’s not bad~

The food was great, loved the Weekender’s Eggs. Some of the add ons were abit pricey but overall good quality food and plate presentation. Atmosphere left more to be desired, the dim lighting relied mostly on the front window for light, so if you’re on the 3rd table onwards its kinda dark. Service was overall good except for when we took out a cupcake to celebrate a friend’s birthday and they told us we could not have outside food here. I mean, its a damn cupcake and we’ve already ordered 3 full meals and drinks at your restaurant. I understand your policy, but common, not like I brought a turkey to carve and eat there right? To be honest that ruined our experience abit at the end of our meal. Their saving grace was this older lady that wished us well at the door on the way out, very cheerful and friendly, deserves praise!

Walking in directly and wait abt 20mins to get seats, with 1 hour time limit. Food is amazing and price reasonable! My daughter like the most pancakes which really huge and tasty and she finished quickly even didn’t give me time to take photos:) Will come again! And Easy parking just have public parking opposite.

An Extraordinary Brunch Oasis - An Unparalleled Gastronomic Voyage! I come here regularly for the avocado toast, Reuben and flat white. Avo toast. The velvety avocado paired with artisanal bread creates a symphony of flavors that'll have you reaching for more. Reuben sandwich. A true culinary masterpiece! The tender corned beef, sauerkraut, and melted cheese, all harmoniously layered between toasted rye bread, deliver a tantalizing medley of taste and texture. Consistency is the name of the game here. Each visit is a testament to their culinary artistry - a flawless execution of their creations. This hidden gem is a must for the true brunch connoisseur. With nothing but respect and admiration, I raise my glass and give this extraordinary establishment five stars.

The food is nice especially the Earl grey pancakes is delicious. Latte is just okay. The seats near the entrance is warm. It was quite noisy inside the cafe as some of the customers were talking so loudly.

nice ambience, we got the poached chicken breast salad and weekender eggs. didn’t make a reservation but got a counter table pretty quickly. salad 7.5/10 would’ve been better if it was warm. the chicken was tender and veggies were fresh, they gave a lot of cheese as well. basically a pseudo salad but still good. weekender eggs (poached eggs w smoked salmon and ikura) was a 7/10. eggs were well cooked and they were generous with the smoked salmon. they gave a lot of ikura, could’ve gone w less but that’s just personal preference. got an iced mocha w mint as well and it was really good. the mint really value added.

Went to Punch Cafe for a brunch with my girl friend earlier and I fell in love! Their outdoor section looks captivating (literally got so many questions what place it is when I posted a photo on my Instagram). I had the Aglio Olio and Earl Grey pancake and they were delicious -- I especially have a high standard when it comes to Aglio Olio! The staff we're so friendly and warm. And oh the coffee was also on point! Highly recommended!

The food in general was good. The laksa burger, I only discovered the taste of laksa when I had the salad alone. To reach their outdoor area you have to go through the indoor area. Although they are pet friendly, but they not allowing pets on the floor so required me to pick up my medium sized dog and walk through it. If they care about the customer and not the floor, they shouldn't ask me to pick up my dog because it might caused more dust and fur in the air.

1st time visit - ticked quite a few boxes - indoor and outdoor seating, decent food, good atmosphere, interesting music and . . . an open kitchen so you can watch the action! Toasted cheese sandwich with tomato soup was reasonable comfort food, the earl grey tea pancakes were decent, the chocolate sauce made thè dish overly sweet and I didn't register much, if any, earl grey but still good if you have a sweet tooth, the poached pear on top was the stand out! I'll definitely revisit for the overall experience if not for the food alone . . . and don't let the 1 hour dining limit put you off - the place was busy but service was sharp and we were done inside half an hour

First time visiting this cafe and it was wonderful. Food was good and reasonably priced. Would recommend the outdoor seat as the indoor seats seems crowded and noisy with all the chattering going on. Although the outdoor isn't air conditioned, it was quite breezy with the wall mount fan.

Smashed avocado toast: was meh, avocado had no taste,, just tasted like cream. grilled cheese toast with tomato soup (added a side of rosti): ordered a side of rosti as I felt i wouldn't be full. Rosti was good, grilled cheese and soup was just alright Reuben: absolutely bang average. "I've had better" my friend said.

  • 4/5 Anya C. 2 years ago on Google
Service was great, they served water the moment I got in. Coffee is excellent, highly recommend the wicked, which is a mint mocha. Avocado & eggs toast was average though. While the portion of smashed avocado was very generous and poached eggs were done perfectly, the dish was bland. Needed to add salt and pepper and even then, flavours were flat.

  • 5/5 Maya 1 year ago on Google
Great place for breakfast! One of the best avocado toasts I ate in Singapore. The portion looks small but is enough! I didn’t finish my meal.. my friend ate a French toast that was also amazing.
