The infamous Ruth’s Chris. You’ll be indulged with arguably best steak in town. Their wet aging steaks are to die for with its sizzling plating signature. The custom broiler they have is like a mini sun installed in their restaurant; scorching hot to create a steak that’s crisp on the outside but extra tender & succulent on the inside. If this is your first time, get their Porterhouse for two, it consist of bone-in sirloin (NY Strip) and tenderloin (filet). Sides recommendation are crab cakes, asparagus, salads or cream spinach. I’ve always liked their rib eye steak for some reason. Tomahawk if you are feeling fancy. Don’t confuse their steak with the dry aging ones, this one has a pack of flavor without the funky tones that dry aged steak has. I love both. I ain’t picky when it comes to great steaks. Splurge your birthday and or any special events you have in mind. Any day is a steak day. Treat yourself.

Had been wanting to try this steakhouse for years. Finally booked a table for 2. Crab cakes were moist and flavourful. Love it. My ribeye steak was good - fat, juicy and flavourful. However, my wife’s petit fillet was not as good. We did not like it. Luckily their sides saved the day - cream spinach was really good! Ended our meal with mini cheesecake and a complementary chocolate cake. Nice! Service is excellent. Great advice to decide on what to eat. Very attentive service.

We came here to celebrate mid-year.. ha just find a good excuse to enjoy the night in the fine dinning restaurant We love the crab cakes, lamb chops and tomahawk ribeye, all very very awesome, considered the best we tried in these years in Singapore. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially Chrina, who is super passionate in her work in this restaurant and spends quite some time to chat with us, makes us feel like eating dinner in friend's house. Strongly recommended and we definitely will come back again soon.

If you're a steak lover, then Ruth's Chris Steak House is the place to be. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this steak house and was blown away by the quality of the food and the exceptional service. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff and seated in a cosy room. The menu offered a variety of steak cuts, and I opted for the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. It was juicy, tender, and had a smoky flavor that was simply mouth-watering. The side dishes, including the loaded baked potato and grilled asparagus, were also excellent, perfectly complementing the steak. The staff was knowledgeable about the different cuts of steak and recommended a wine that perfectly paired with my meal. They were attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to make my dining experience a memorable one. The ambiance of the restaurant was also impressive. The decor was modern and elegant, and the lighting was just right, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. To top off the meal, I had the chocolate cake for dessert, which was rich and indulgent, just like a dessert should be. Overall, my experience at Ruth's Chris Steak House was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect steak dinner. The quality of the food, the exceptional service, and the cozy ambiance make it the ideal spot for a special occasion or a romantic date night.

We had sky high expectations as friend shared that he had ‘the best steak in the world’ at a Ruth Chris in the states, and the prices were premium. Unfortunately, that really set the stage for this disappointing review, and the crowd (or lack of it on a weekend) should have been most telling. We had the porterhouse, cowboy ribeye (tomahawk was somehow unavailable) and lamb chops for mains. Go with the ribeye. The Ruth’s chop salad was surprisingly good and refreshing with the onion crisps and blue cheese bits(albeit unevenly distributed)!!! The desserts were also underwhelming with an ungooey lava cake and savoury tart… Service was excellent with our very versatile wait staff Kenny who switched effortlessly between English and mandarin while entertaining our requests. (Hence the 3 star) That said, am unlikely to return as i expect my steaks to be awesome at a steak house, and at this price point.

Dinner with the wife. For the price, it met my expectations. Excellent service and food quality was as it should be. Server staff was knowledgeable and made recommendations when needed. Steaks were cooked to our request and overall the meal was fantastic. I had read some negative reviews about the steak quality being less than perfect. This was NOT my experience at all. To dig more into the service, anytime I needed something there were waiters nearby and waiting to assist. When I had finished eating, someone had come over and mentioned they noticed I had not touched my food in a while. Asked if I was finished. Offered to box everything up for us. They accept all major credit cards. For the price, it’s not something I will come back to often but for a special occasion I will be sure to consider it.

Nice rib eye steak, bathed with a lot of butter and served on a hot plate (you may want to adjust the doneness). I tried the petite fillet too. It was good, but I prefer the rib eye. For the sides, I tried creamed spinach and grilled asparagus. Both were good. Chocolate Sin is recommended for dessert (chocolate and espresso). Service was great too.

Unbelievable. Best steak I've ever eaten around the world. Cooked exactly how I requested and the sides are a perfect compliment. You must treat yourself here. Don't avoid due to the price, it's worth it. It's March 2023, the pictures are not edited. Staff were outstanding and very attentive. Pulled out my chair, laid my napkin on my lap, poured my wine & water all night. Super friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The food is simple but magnificent, makes your taste buds dance!

Had my bf’s 29th birthday! The birthday cheesecake was delicious 🤤 we got a printed out picture as birthday present!!!! It was what we really needed! Service was warm and welcoming, it is for sure worthy with the prices I paid. Might not have a best shoot for the food picture because we were too busy to enjoying the food there! The Petite fillet was superb, I went without reading much of which cut to get. Turns out it was as amazing as the pic they show 😊 Thank you 🙏

Should’ve gotten the t-bone to share instead of getting individual cuts. Also not used to the sizzling hot plate. Loved the onion rings, very crispy and crunchy! Service was great. Was here for a birthday and the mini cheesecake was also good.

Came here on a weekday night to celebrate an anniversary. The ambience was great and the staff were attentive (though of course the restaurant was at about 1/3 capacity). We had the crab cakes which were incredible, and the Tomahawk steak which was cooked perfectly to medium rare. I think bang for buck wise, this place is great for a 200+ per pax meal (with a glass of wine and dessert). Dessert portions here are huge!

The ribeye 12oz was fantastic, it was the best ribeye we have tested and we are comparing it with multiple outstanding restaurants out there. This has surely surpassed our expectations and made it to our top 2. The creamed spinach however bland was still equally yummy, because the mains were so flavourful the creamed spinach helps to balance out the aftertaste. Unfortunately the petite fillet mignon 6/8oz was a buzz kill, the cut was good but when served it was dry. Good amount of seasoning, a good mouthfeel but it was just so dry with very little to chew for. We ended the dessert with the signature lava cake and honestly it’s easily one of the best dessert (lava cake in comparison) we’ve ever had. While I must say the price of the dessert was a whopping $30 before taxes so people probably may take twice before taking it up. We ended the session with an appletini and cucumber gin tonic. I would honestly say the service is overall the best and would like to praise the staff for being tiptop. Last but not least, the design is very classy, old school somewhat like Wolfgang. I feel like they should probably redo it up a little bit, maintain the class but make it a little more modern for our current era.

Excellent food and amazing service! This was the perfect place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The tomahawk steak is out of this world - juicy thick slabs of succulent meat charred to perfection. The service crew was very attentive, especially Andrew who went out of his way to make it a memorable night for us. Highly recommended, especially for special occasions.

This has just become my go-to place for any celebrations. Needless to say, items r on the pricier side, but it's worth every bit of it. We ordered the Ruth salad, crab cakes, cowboy ribeye and molten chocolate cake. Everything is delicious, but man I will just keep going back for that ribeye. It was so good that the other steak that was good enough to compete in SG was rubicon (ok I haven't tried that much steak in SG). They even heat up your plate (if you are sharing) and fill it with steak juice. Beware of the portions of the desserts though it's huge. The service was impeccable (thank you David)- the attention to detail was too impressive. When you enter the restaurant, it seems like you have transported back to the 80s/90s, everything is very well maintained as well. I'll give as many thumbs up as I can but I've only got 2!

Beautiful ambience with generous seatings. Enjoyed the service as well as the pacing of the food being served!😌 We ordered the following for 2 pax: Ribeye steak 16oz - ⭐️5/5 Smokey and well charred steak! We ordered medium rare and the meat was not chewy at all, which was delightful! Loaded baked potato - ⭐️4/5 Huge on pounder potato with classic toppings - sour cream, butter, bacon bits and spring onion. Nothing too special about it, but the potato was really smooth! The restaurant was very generous as well when we asked for more toppings. Carpaccio - ⭐️3.5/5 A huge plate that consists of beef carpaccio, fresh salad and toasted bread! Not the most flavourful, but this dish was very refreshing. Crab cakes - ⭐️4/5 Was flavourful and packed with chunky crab meat, served on a sizzling hot plate!🤤 it was very yummy, however I am a little on the fence when it came to the price as it was $42 for 2 crab cakes As we came here for a birthday, the restaurant gave us a free New York cheesecake which we enjoyed. Definitely a nice and quit restaurant if you would like to celebrate a special day with your loved ones.

This is one of the restaurants in SG that deserves a high n good service rating. Staff are very attentive n observant towards our needs. They took the initiative to check on our needs at appropriate time. We started with appetiser, Ruth's Carpaccio, n warm baguette which are already quite impressive. Steaks are done in perfection based on individual request. Sides are in generous portion. Desserts is nice n sweet but not overwhelming.

Crab cakes were extremely fishy, tasted like cod liver oil. We told the staff this but they mentioned it’s supposed to taste like this and that it’s because the crab cake is cold. They heated it up for us and now it tasted like hot cod liver oil. Prawns were average at best. Steak is good though. Not worth the price.

Love the place here! The servers were friendly and personal. It was a really good meal we had.. the steak was amazing and we loved the crab cakes.. I was told the chicken was a little dry but tasted fine . The mac and cheese is the dry type and not gonna be those with cheesy sauce. But it does taste good when it's hot.

We are returning customers, the food quality and service are impeccable as always. The beef was served on hot plates and it melts in the mouth. We also like the crab cakes and baked potato which comes with generous servings of bacon and sour cream. All in all 5 stars.

Celebrated birthday here and had a very pleasant surprise by the great food and service! Nice ambience. Delicious steak . Doneness is just right for me. Love the jumbo crab cake as appetiser. Dessert is also yummy! Had a wonderful time. Highly recommended for any kind of celebration ~

My significant other half surprised me last night with a VD dinner here cos I asked to have good steakhouse! Ruth Chris infact is more than good...it is a great and special steakhouse with choices of cuts and grades..we picked 1 petit and one ribeye to have variety. The cook is within our asks and David the service staff is attentive and careful. The warm water is top up and the table is cleared timely and the pace of food service is greatly timed. The bread looked ordinary but the crunch and butter make it delicious 😋. What a surprise to have on a rainy Sunday evening!. Love him and didn't disappoint with a good ambience steakhouse..a lovely evening!

Very good food with excellent service from the crew working there. Could even inform if the portion size is right or too much. The best comes in showing live size replica of cakes with explanations of ingredients used. Clear tables quickly and cleanly so that the next meal is eaten with comfortable space. I would greatly recommend to couples going on dinner dates.

Nice chill ambiance, good steak. You get a very hot dish with melted butter as your dining plate when the steak is served however we felt that the butter made the steak abit too oily. Will try it without the butter next time. Another complain is, it's hard not to smell like a butter roll at the end of the dinner.

Food: 4 star( we as a couple ate their Ribeye steak 450g and medium Rare, honestly I expect the steak to be better but its disappointing, I suspect the steak didn't put to room temperature long enough and the rare part is cold), foe gras is nice! Service : 5 star( From the Recep to waiter I would it's pretty good and well mannered! The one who served us are David and one more I believe is a philipino lady. David is very attentive, whenever I turned myself he will realise and came to me to check if I need help, the best part I like was he brought 4 of their dessert and place in front of us to choose and explain the desserts to us one by one in detail which I was impressed! The philipino girl was very polite and I was happy to be served by her at the Recep! Ambience: overall is good (4 star) Come back for the service, not for the steak definitely.

One of the nicer steaks we’ve had. Tasty with no frills. Just plain steak with some cracked pepper soaking in it’s delicious juices on the hot plate. Really enjoyed lunch.

The photo definitely does not do justice for the food. It was the best steak we've had in Singapore so far! Extremely juicy and flavourful. We ordered the shrimps as well. The portions were huge and filling. Overall, an enjoyable experience.

Been to many steakhouses in Sg imho, Ruth’s Chris serves up the best steaks! Always with a nice crusty char and perfectly cooked. Extra buttery too. The starters and sides were generally pretty average but the appetiser of bbq prawns was outstanding.
