Five
stars
from
us.
This
is
a
lovely
family
run
warung
set
in
a
garden.
Mae
is
a
fabulous
host
and
excellent
cook.
We
began
with
cold
beer
and
complimentary
piping
hot
roasted
peanuts
with
the
acclaimed
local
salt.
We
had
sustainable
spear-caught
grilled
fish
with
a
delicious
and
pungent
Balinese
sauce,
tasty
pork
belly,
excellent
vegetables,
rice
and
lots
more
cold
beer.
The
tables
are
set
in
a
garden
with
a
fish
pond
surrounded
by
banana
trees.
Curious
chickens,
ducks
and
pigs
wandered
about.
Mae
chatted
to
us
and
we
had
a
lovely
time
discussing
(as
we
are
British)
the
gossip
about
our
Royal
family
of
which
Mae
knew
more
than
us.
As
we
liked
the
salt
so
much
Mae
kindly
took
me,
the
next
day,
to
the
salt
shop
up
the
road.
I
bought
the
specialty
pyramid
crystal
salt
for
which
this
area
is
famous.
If
you
are
staying
by
the
sea
you
can
walk
most
of
the
way
on
country
lanes
along
the
coastline.
If
we
were
staying
longer
I’d
go
there
again.
Go
have
lunch
there.
