The food is FLAVOURFUL and the family is LOVELY!!! I have come over here to enjoy my meals during the stay in Tejakula. I had been ordering the grilled chicken with rice. The chicken leg is juicy, tender and full of flavour. For drinks, orange juice is the best option as it's fresh and without ice cubes/ water to dilute the pure juice (it could easily tell by every sip i've taken). The food and drinks here have never disappointed me :)

We came here for dinner and loved it from the moment we arrived. If you’re after great Balinese food for cheap prices, cooked and presented by a lovely family in a garden, then this is for you. We also enjoyed the very friendly puppy, as well as the appreciation they had for Maroon 5 music. Would have gone again if we were in the area for longer!

Five stars from us. This is a lovely family run warung set in a garden. Mae is a fabulous host and excellent cook. We began with cold beer and complimentary piping hot roasted peanuts with the acclaimed local salt. We had sustainable spear-caught grilled fish with a delicious and pungent Balinese sauce, tasty pork belly, excellent vegetables, rice and lots more cold beer. The tables are set in a garden with a fish pond surrounded by banana trees. Curious chickens, ducks and pigs wandered about. Mae chatted to us and we had a lovely time discussing (as we are British) the gossip about our Royal family of which Mae knew more than us. As we liked the salt so much Mae kindly took me, the next day, to the salt shop up the road. I bought the specialty pyramid crystal salt for which this area is famous. If you are staying by the sea you can walk most of the way on country lanes along the coastline. If we were staying longer I’d go there again. Go have lunch there.

Absolutely amazing place, could not recommend it enough! We ate here several times in May 2023, we had all our dinners and lunches for 5 days here. Mae is a lovely host and her cooking skills are unbelievable. She is super friendly and always up for a chat with her guests. We probably tried half the menu and everything was made with deliciously fresh products. Very affordable for excellent quality food compared to what we experienced in the area. We still miss her iced teas!

We went into restaurant on an casual Saturday. We achieve attention on the restaurant due to good ratings on Google. Service was very friendly and we were able to order in English language. We ordered a broad selection of traditional food including fresh fish as well as vegetarian food. The result was outstanding. The food was very fresh and incredible tasty. The fish was enchanting. We highly recommend this lovely place!!!
