The hotel doesn't respond to 5 star hotel. The air condition didn't work. The balcony door was broken and the wall near by the door was broken as well. When outside was raining, droplets were failing down into the swimming pool. There is only one swimming pool and jacuzzi. Salt room pay is must.

I cannot say anything bad about the hotel. Friendly and kind staff, amazing service. The rooms are big and clean. The SPA is great. And the food in the restaurant is really delicious. The menu is rich, full of traditional food and everything is delicious.

The hotel's staff was extremely polite and helpful! Besides the spa, there are salt room, kids entertainment, and nice bowling with four allays. The room was clean, had all possible amenities, yet most likely due to late booking, we get one of the ground level rooms, overlooking the near street. Also, it's quite hot in the hotel rooms for late October, especially if no window is left open during the night.

The Persenk Hotel Spa was an absolute delight to stay at! The rooms were impeccably comfortable, providing a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The restaurant staff were incredibly polite and radiated positivity, making dining experiences truly enjoyable. The overall ambiance and service made the stay perfect. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a wonderful retreat!

A joke of a 5 star hotel. Should be a very good 3 star instead (and prices adjusted accordingly), then the review rating will be a fair 4.5. + Spacious rooms (if you get the deluxe with balcony) + friendly staff + some kind of spa + good sporting area: 1 snooker table, darts, 2 bowling alleys + could be worse - just a small inside pool which is more like a pond - ridiculously tiny jakuzzi that fits 2 - water has more chlorine than minerals - slippery (tiles) like hell - the spa is mostly a sauna and a steaming bath... - no soap in the showers - awfully outdated room facilities; no fan in the toilet, balcony door lock half-broken, electric kettle that smells of boiled plastic, microscopic 20 year old TV, detector-failure buzzing in the lift continuously, underground parking for 3 cars. - heating: loud and inefficient, no good sleep possible, had to turn it off - smell of WC chemicals everywhere in the room - restaurant food quality just around mediocre - dinner for 4 at around 250lv - sporting facilities need desperate rennovation or at least maintenance

As returning customers we were really disappointed, when access to the bowling alley was declined on the pretext that it is only for hotel guests. It is difficult to explain to 5 kids why they can't do something they've done year after year at the same location.

Despite its claimed 5-star status, my recent stay at this hotel was far from impressive. The cuisine left much to be desired, and while the rooms were generously sized, they were noticeably in need of refurbishment. The pool, supposedly a luxurious feature, turned out to be disappointingly small with rather cold water. The hot tub, limited to accommodating just two people, further added to the letdown. Moreover, the insufficient parking spaces and identical menus across the two restaurants essentially rendered them indistinguishable. To compound matters, the temperature in both the lobby and the restaurants was inconsistent, oscillating between uncomfortably cold and overly hot, creating an additional discomfort that did not align with the promised luxury experience. The disparity between the advertised standards and the actual conditions has left me questioning the validity of the 5-star rating.

Decent hotel, has spacious rooms, however SPA zone is really small. Jacuzzi is like for 4 persons max, main pool is ok. Sauna zone is in different floor. Hotel didn’t have many people, but SPA zone was quite crowded.

It's my second time here. The service quality is much lower! The personal is not interested to provide you the needed service. Only the restourant service was OK, but you can hear high voices between the kitchen and the waiters. There is not enough personal. The management sould be more involved in the daily activities. Disappointed!

Very good hotel to relax, just don't go there when schools are in holidays.

Looks perfect when it's not croudy. They face huge challenge, when the hotel is full.

Well deserved 5stars. The house keeping staff is amazing. Friendly, helping, caring. The vie from the cafe- terrace is captivating and relaxing. You got the feeling that you are in a capsule where time is insignificant. The town of Devin is small, clean and the river running trough it offers cool breeze. I loved it.

The rooms are comfortable and big, the bed is queen size, the bathroom is great - there are both - bath and shower, separated. The shower cabin is a bit small and when you turn around, the shower could go off. The food in the restaurant is good, quite decent prices. The breakfast ends a bit earlier than expected - 10 o'clock and it's over, but it is really good. The only problem we had was the pool - some of the blocks on the floor inside the pool are broken and the kid cut its finger to blood.

We stayed there for 2 nights (weekdays) mid July this year and the service was wonderful. The staff were very polite and informative about everything - SPA, restaurant, housekeeping, front desk, the lot. I think the SPA was nice, well maintained despite the Turkish hammam not working. We also used the salt room and signed up for a massage. The pool was clean and so was the hot tub. Breakfast was rich and there were no hold ups or poor quality products. The rooms were spacious and in pristine condition. I was surprised at the size of the bathroom and all the amenities provided. I would definitely stay there again and I recommend it.

The rooms, the food and service were very good. I am disappointed that the pool and jacuzzi were colder than what I expected for a mineral water spa hotel - 32 degrees.
