Lovely Park. Great for big and small, dig and Yoga lovers. The Lake is 1.6km long so nice for a short with smaller kids or dog. The top of the stairs offer a great view over coogee beach and the lake. Tons of BBQ, drink fountains, toilets and playgrounds as well as a basketball hoop and space yo kick a footie. Lots of parking. CAREFUL there is absolutely no light so if you want run or climb I'm the dark bring a head light.

Manning park has a lot going for in! There are great BBQ and picnic facilities, smooth paths to ride or scoot on, playgrounds, plenty of smooth grass to play on, toilets, Bush tracks, steps to climb for exercise or simply for the view. It is a spacious area and so close to the suburbs and beach! There were lots of birds and frogs too. The lake looked healthy and happening in terms of wildlife. It was a fun place to explore :D

A huge park with a massive grassed area around a lake. Great spot for kids as there are alot of play grounds. There are old ruins in the Southwest of the park and a museum to the Northwest. Behind the homestead there are many hiking paths leading along some of the ww2 defensive positions. With great views..

Magnificent park for family outings or picnics with a big playground and a small one near picnic facilities next to public toilet building. Lots of open space for a friendly social gathering or games. For those energetic young people, they can also climb up Manning Stairs with a short walk from the park. Great place to revisit for a relaxing family picnic!

I can't believe that I have been living in the area for nearly 10 years and I have never ventured here before. We parked by the playground down from the old Wagon House and the rusty, yellow farm vehicles. The old house is stunning; I believe it is a museum thought not open today when we went. The gardens have sweeping lawns all around and the location is really superb. The playground is huge and the setting inspiring. It's great for a bbq, a picnic, or just relaxing.

Definitely worth the (relatively) short climb up the stairs along the limestone ridge to get a sweeping view from Woodman point all the way up to Fremantle.

Absolutely adorable park, good for barbeques, walks and picnics, kids friendly. There's a playground and public toilets, they could be cleaner though.

Manning Park is one of my favourite recreational.spaces. I also count Cockies (endangered Black Cockatoos fly over at dusk to their nearby roosts) for Birds Australia at their annual event, so I have a special connection with the birds that live here. Today I took a walk around the lake enjoying the late afternoon sun and shadows on the lake and among the Paperbarks and other trees. There's Barbeques and a children's playground, a heritage museum and many kms of walk trails through the bushland of Manning Ridge between the lake and the coast. But that's another story...

Stepping into this vast suburban parkland you immediately feel as though you’re 100 miles away in the countryside. The birdlife surrounding the lake takes your breath away and it’s a top spot for catching up with friends and family. Plenty of playground areas and of course Manning Stairs makes this one of the most loved parks in Perth.

This is my happy place early on a Saturday morning. The sunrises are my fav! I love doing the stairs (full body workout!) and jogging/walking around the lake afterwards. This place is beautiful and historic - different tracks to explore through the bush, lots of wildlife and beautiful flowers depending on the time of year.

I had an amazing day with my family at Manning park. We really enjoyed the walk up the stairs and the view was spectacular from right up the top. I also enjoyed reading about the heritage of this place. Very fascinating.

Has rest rooms and lots of parking, lots of trees, kids playground. Even a person there selling coffee. when I turned up there was 10 people doing yoga on the grass and about 7 people walking/running up and down the steps.

Manning Park has something for everyone, you can walk your dog around the lake while chatting with others. You can walk with friends, family, children or alone around the paths. There is ample space for the dogs to run with owner’s separate from others. You can also take the opportunity to seek out 🦆 black 🦢 on the water or Pink & Gray Galahs and a mirrored of other species the 🌳 🌳

What a beautiful place. The playground was very cool too, made me feel pretty old though; chasing the kid around was very tiring. Giant trees, beautiful lake. Exotic birds. Loved it.
