This place is AWESOME! Only coffee shop on I-475 so don't miss this stop. Easy access from interstate with a drive thru when I'm in a hurry. Best grilled cheese sandwich in Macon. My favorite drink is the iced caramel macchiato. My favorite pastry is the raspberry white chocolate scone.

Really loved this place. Plenty of parking. If social distancing is your thing, this place has more room than any coffee shop i have ever visited. Baristas were very friendly and knowledgeable and offered many custom options for both hot and cold drinks. They also have a drive thru.

What a delightful place — comfy and roomy inside, and extremely pleasant baristas Abby and Jacob. Don’t be fooled when you pull into a church parking lot, the place is actually inside the main building. I will come here every time I’m in Macon 😊

i finally got the chance to visit and the coffee did not disappoint one bit! i chose the honey badger, which is a cinnamon honey latte. the flavor was amazing and i could actually taste the coffee, unlike some other cafes in the area. service was fast and super friendly as well. i will definitely be back to sample more coffee and sweets!

Great customer service! I had a chocolate chapelcino and a turkey and Swiss on sourdough. While the sandwich and drink were delicious, they were out of my original choice. Well they were out of egg for the sausage egg and cheese sandwich. And they had discontinued the roast beef and Gouda 😔 but I was still very pleased with my order. Definitely gonna visit again!

I must say that the sandwich was absolutely delicious! The combination of flavors and textures was just perfect. And let's not forget about the peach smoothie, which was also a treat for the taste buds. It had just the right amount of sweetness and tanginess. Overall, a wonderful dining experience! I also enjoyed the vibe inside the cafe, which was clean and cool!

If you like coffee shops, I’m sure you’ll find this one very unique. I personally haven’t been to a coffee shop that cool. The space and architecture around here are amazing! Let alone the great service from people here as well as the professionally made coffees. I loved it and I’m sure you’ll love it too.

Jacob is a guy who works there for morning shift and we just so happen to have the same name — my wife and I frequent this spot when we are in Macon and all I gotta say is.. Jacob is the man and the coffee and cookies here are absolutely off the chain. You can tell that everyone who works here is happy to be there and are really there to serve! We love Cathedral coffee and always feel good about spending $ here. Skip the corporate Starbucks and hit up these God loving folks!

Great ambiance, beautiful location. Service was friendly, efficient, and welcoming! We were driving through and stopped for a pick me up, it was a great choice, the cappuccino was delicious and the warm blueberry scones melted in our mouths. Stop by if you are in the area.

Located in Cathedral Church. Its like stepping into a castle of years gone by. A beautiful coffee shop tucked away, yet right off 475. I plan on stopping each time I travel through.

I experienced Cathedral Coffee for the first time today; and I must say I am very surprised. Not only was the customer service beyond exceptional; the coffee and it's tantalizing aroma were phenomenal. I love coffee in it's natural state and even with a hint of sweetness. The Ellie was the perfect combination of bitter and sweet for me. Cathedral Coffee could (in my opinion) give Starbucks a run for their money. So if you don't mind paying a little more for coffee, I highly recommend this business.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! My two toddlers (3 and 1) and I frequent this shop often and they never disappoint. Everyone is always upbeat and the drinks are always consistent. My little ones always look forward to the weekly smoothie and sweet staff. I highly recommend the dirty cathedral chai, so good and flavorful!

Stopped for the first time on my way to the mountains through the drive-through and was greeted very kindly and coffee was absolutely delicious!! Will definitely stop by anytime in the area on the way back to the mountains when we go on trips!

My friends and I from out of town met up here for the first time as Macon is our usual meet up place since we live far apart. We spent hours here catching up and enjoying the atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and the chai latte was incredible. The atmosphere is so calm and cozy. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We will be back! We stayed so long that we got breakfast and lunch. Both were so good!

Lovely little shop. Coffee is a mild with strong fruity notes. Happy to have happened across it on our way south. Very helpful and respectful barista.

Yes, this is a coffee shop in a church building - and it’s great. Friendly, prompt service with our order brought out to our table. Very reasonably priced. They understand the meaning of “hot” for food and beverages. Ample parking with double bays that are really handy if you’re towing (as we were). Very convenient for those traveling through. The building itself is quite new and modern, clearly with the coffee shop designed in from the outset, complete with drive-through if that’s your need. The architecture is interesting - the coffee shop space is designed in a Gothic theme, but the feel is new and airy. Kudos on a job well done! Highly recommended.

My mom and I stopped by during a road trip on Saturday, but the shop was closed for a wedding. The manager (possibly owner?) came out to speak with us and was so friendly that we went back today on our way home to Florida. All of the staff were so nice and the drinks came out perfect! We will definitely make sure to stop by on our next road trip :)

This is a must stop for us every time we travel up north. We love the amazing atmosphere and architecture. And the coffee and staff are just as wonderful. Do yourself a favor and stop by.

A dear friend of mine brought me here for a quick coffee break, saying it is the best coffee place in Macon and was he correct!! The ambiance of this place was parred excellence! The place inside looked like an old European cathedral! The decor & the chill atmosphere was perfect for a coffee place! The manager, and the rest of the staff showed excellent service displaying grace and patience! The Badger Honey iced Coffee was excellent! The next day I came and tried the iced Chai and it was like drinking cold dessert in a cup! I LOVED it! I highly recommend this coffee joint! If I lived in Macon, I would most probably be visiting this coffee place every day! Loved it that much!!

We were only there for a quick stop, but we absolutely adored this unique coffee shop. The ambiance lives up to its name with its large cathedral type archways inside the modern church. The service was fast and the employees were friendly. I wish I would have taken photos of the barista counter because it was the real deal. My coffee was a little on the sweet side, but coffee can be tricky like that… trying to please all types of palettes, from the Starbucks drinkers to the single source pour over drinkers. Looking forward to visiting this little piece of heaven the next time we are in the area.

Came through here for a coffee while on the road to Savannah. I had a bit of a hard time finding it. Probably would've helped if I'd read the fine print and realized it was actually in a large church, haha. Being that's the case, there's obviously a lot of parking. I didn't have time to go inside really so I was pleased to see they had a drive-through. The pictures of the inside look cool and cathedral-y though! I ordered the smaller-sized honey bear mocha (honey and mocha latte) as well as a water bottle. I wanna say it ran me a little over $8, which felt a little steep but not insane. The girl working the window was pleasant and friendly. I liked my coffee okay but I didn't wind up drinking much of it. I always say there are two kinds of people: people who like their coffee to taste like dessert and people who like their coffee to taste like coffee. Both are fine, but I'm the former and I think this place caters more to the latter, lol. My drink had a very strong, nutty coffee flavor, a tiny bit of mocha flavor, and no honey flavor. Therefore, not really sweet enough for me. That's okay. If that sounds like your speed, definitely give them a try. I wish them well and appreciate the kind service!

Good coffee. Breakfast sandwiches were good, but not necessarily anything special. Now, the space is phenomenal! It's in a church and the cathedral theme comes through in the vaulted ceilings, arches, and stained glass feature. They have a drive-thru which is very convenient and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.

I'm a FedEx delivery driver that from time to time will go in for a coffee or light snack. Mr. Wilson has ALWAYS taken great care of me and his service is VERY hospitable and warming. I've never been to a coffee shop that feels like home until I moved to Macon and began coming here. I'll skip the big coffee conglomerates for this sanctuary of sweet smelling aromas

Great service and grub! Been two times, and both times were solid experiences. The coffee (plain black/decaf) was very well made, and not as expensive as other places you may find yourself wandering to.

Beautiful space and yummy coffee. I love the high ceilings, natural lighting, and calm feel to the room. The only thing that would make it better would be some rugs to deflect noise! They also have some nice outdoor seating.

I used to love this place. My last experience with them left a bad taste in my mouth. I have been a regular since it opened and always order the same thing. I haven’t been in a few months due to my work schedule. I ordered my usual drink and they said that they no longer sell the drink. Ok, that’s fine. The drink is very simple to make and everything is on the menu so I wasn’t asking anyone to go out of their way. The barista then asked was there anything else they could do for me with an attitude. It seemed like she wanted to get back to the conversation with her peers instead of offering another menu item or try to make the drink. The service was just like McDonald’s. I expected better especially for the price they charge for menu items :(.

I visit Cathedral for food, drinks, and for the atmosphere. Cathedral is beautiful on the inside (it looks like a Cathedral), it is cozy, and most of the time it's quiet and calm. To me it feels like an escape from the busyness of Macon, which is so nice for when I want to have some quiet study time outside of my house. Since I'm not constantly at Cathedral, I am not sure if this their only busy time, but sometimes during the week when school gets out, multiple children will come to be tutored there and it can be a little more noisy (which is magnified by the tall ceiling), but the tutoring doesn't last too long and if it does get too noisy for me, I can always put my earbuds in. Cathedral also has a drive-thru window which is cool, and I will use it if I'm on the way to work or to the grocery store and in need of caffeine or a snack. As far as coffee goes, I tried an iced mocha latte the other day, and that may be my favorite coffee item from them so far (I haven't tried a lot of their coffee because I mostly drink tea there). My favorite tea there is a tie between the earl grey tea latte (hot), or the chai latte (either hot or cold). But they also have good regular hot teas. Their food is actually really good- I personally prefer their breakfast sandwiches and plain bagels. As far as treats go, their chocolatey marshmallow cookies are soft and delicious, and all of their scones are amazing (I prefer the scones warmed). I am so glad we have this nice local coffee shop in this area of town!
