Upgrade made the station 10 times better. No level crossing for the busy High St, Cheddar Rd and Spring St junction, two of the roads being state routes. This is one of the best looking stations on the Mernda line yet!

Not sure who’s idea it was to cut back the carpark when they did the rebuild of this station. Unless you’re here at 7am there are no car parks left… the station has also now “reserved” a side strip of land that people were using as a last resort. There are barely enough car spots as it as so makes sense to take the only remaining space! Spending 10+ mins every morning is really fun 🙃🙃🙃

With High Street level crossing free, this station has everything you need. Toilets, check. Customer service, check. Elevators, check. It also looks astetically appealing from a distance, including from the southbound end.

A place for everyone providing access and inclusivity

[Sep 2023] Although the station is spacious and beautiful there were a few points to note: The signage after exiting the ticket barrier pointing where the toilets would be were unsuitable. It leads to nowhere. Should’ve pointed to the station where at least temporary usage would be ideal with a Myki fare cap. The toilets were spacious and ok but seem to be a bit dirty already.

It’s a great station only downside is the bus replacement is a bit far from the entrance
