One of my all time favourite fish and chip shops. I still drive 20 minutes, past other shops, because they are consistently good, reasonably priced and great service for decades (including previous owners).

They did try, but fish was rather dry, overcooked unfortunately, with no flavour. Prob unfamiliar with cooking for g.f clients. They did a salad despite them not usually.Chips not salted or flavoured in any way. A bit dissappointing unfortunately.

Aug 2021 - The fish is lovely but the minimum chips is very minimum compared to other fish n chip shops. Of course there may have been a chip shortage due to covid though ? I doubt it. A few more chips please. Its just potato..

First time ordering from here and my interest was bolstered by all the good reviews but I found it was a bit of a mixed bag. Staff were okay but not stand out - they are CASH ONLY which I should have expected (a little behind the times!) and the chips and the batter they use was absolutely excellent. However the Bream I ordered was completely inedible. I'm not sure if Bream fillets are normally that littered with bones but when I sit there picking about 6 or 7 bones out of every small mouthful I end up giving up after a few bites. If I try them again I may order something else for the fish...

Very expensive for frozen food items, had KG whiting which was absolutely horrible. No offer of combo packs to save a few $$. Seafood sticks were mushy and old tasting, dim sims were odd and tasted fatty and undercooked. Chips were ok. Still only accepts cash which is uber annoying.

Better tasting food than other local fish and chip shops. Perhaps they change their cooking oil more frequently. I don't know. It is just much nicer

An excellent fish and chip shop. Fresh fish, great potatoe cakes. Exactly like my local back in the 80s. Highly recommended.

Ordered flake and potato cakes. When i got home it tasted like it had been seasoned with cinnamon sugar instead of salt

Be going there since Adam was a bit. Cheaper in those days but one has to make a living or shut up shop. Marco is a legend.
