Give the doctors and staff the benefit of the doubt. I'm a medical receptionist, and you have no idea how hard their job is. It's not their fault you can't be seen on time. Some patients take 5 minutes and others 30. It depends what they're there for. Why would you be called in on time when the doctor is half way through consulting with a patient about their health. A longer than normal wait time is a sign the doctor is being thorough. If you were rushed in and out in 10 minutes flat, wouldn't you be on here complaining about that too? Honestly - cut the medical profession some slack. They have a very difficult job.

Cant get through on the phone always engaged. Pretty sure it sums up this dump of a joint they only have one phone line. Absolutely pathetic. When you manage to get through you find yourself on hold for five plus minutes. No wounder the emergency departments are overloaded. No one can get into see a G.P. Its a disgrace how they treat the patients.

Terribe! The service used to be great when they started this GP in South Morang, but now it has deteriorated to the worst level I can imagine! Telephone operators and receptionist is very rude, no confirmation of appointments on phone, doctors take up an average of 30 to 50 mins after your booked appointment time. Suggest you to go to some other GPs rather than wasting your precious time here!

This clinic is amazing and so are the doctors. I highly recommend Dr Lawrence Lo, who has given my quality of life back! The wait is worth it. (I also recommend Dr ZAR who has been such a fantastic support when Dr Lo isn’t available, you both rock!) I had a family GP of 20 years who couldn’t find the issue to my ongoing 24/7 headaches and other symptoms. Yet, attended this clinic and they were able to find the problem, get me off to the best specialists, get surgery (brain) and support me whilst I had and have to attend NSW on a regular basis. There was minimal aftercare from my brain surgery as I went out of state and Dr Lo has been able to manage all my post op complications (there have been many) without having to be in ER or panic. I really can’t recommend Dr Lo and this clinic enough. I’ve always been treated with absolute courtesy and respect. Throughout Corona they have been available and very responsive. Dr Lo always listens and responds with clear and concise information. Facts sheets and handouts and also explaining everything that is needed. In addition supports combined medical approaches with other specialists and also alternative therapies, rather than just prescribing medication that may not be needed. Dr Lo is great at managing infections, mental health, female related issues, auto immune problems, brain related issues such as Tumours and chiari, and doesn’t prescribe anti biotics or medication when it’s not needed. We did write formally to RACGP with some feedback as we thought there has to be a way Doctors (GP’s) are commended on the work they do. I was surprised that I could only lodge complaints and not positive feedback. So we emailed direct and hope you get this feedback. If there is an option to recommend this practice and GP we would love the opportunity to provide our feedback through formal channels. Also just wanted to mention reception, the nurses especially the lady that works in the treatment room and had to help with all my stitch removals and skin biopsies and also the pathology nurses (there’s two that are just wonderful) one lady has worked in the field for 20 years and the other is a young Indian Lady. I’ve had some damage to veins prior with blood tests yet I don’t even get pain or a bruise from these two lovely ladies. Reception are ALWAYS courteous and responsive especially Ash. I can get access to anything needed that’s on my file and they always have a smile on their faces. The Pharmacy is great! Especially the head pharmacist and another lady who has been there a while, I think her name might start with an M. They both are so welcoming and if they see you in reception they make the effort to say hi and check in, even though I don’t use the chemist anymore. Being sick is quite new to me as I’ve had near perfect health, yet the last two years at times I’m there weekly. I’ve never been turned away and feel I wouldn’t be where I am today without all these fantastic people at this clinic. Especially Cr Lawrence Lo. THANKS Dr Lo for giving me my “quality” of life back, THANKS for ALWAYS listening, THANKS for being so responsive, THANKS for educating me on “other” ways I can manage my condition not just through medication, THANKS for not over and under testing and organising to many scans, THANKS so much for everything you have done for us over the 2 years and getting my health to a point where I am now active and ready to take on the world. We really cannot express our gratitude enough. 🙏

Doctors are always running late. Even if I have first appointment of the day booked it doesn’t matter because they’re often 20-30 minutes late anyway. Reception are sneaky because they have an imaginary queue that doesn’t budge, but you’ll go from 5th in line to 1st when the doctor finally arrives. And god forbid you come late to the appointment. My infant son was experiencing difficulty breathing and my wife desperately called to see if anyone could check him. There was no sympathy from reception, who simply told her that there were no appointments available. No help as to where else to go or who to call. Nowadays with the long call introduction, I am often waiting 5-15 minutes on the phone before speaking to anyone. And 4 times out 5 I end up getting hung up on after a long wait, do receptionists just not know how to answer the phones? They say to call in if sick and wait in the car, so I have to call while driving because I know I’m going to be waiting a long time. One time I was waiting 12 minutes on the phone, I asked my wife to call too in case she got through sooner. And what do you know, after 2 minutes she got through before me. It’s a joke. They clearly no system for answering based on a first come basis. It’s also ridiculous how quickly the good doctors are being booked out. As if I need to plan when I’m sick and need an appointment a week ahead?

I am visiting this clinic for the first time . very friendly reception staffs, very helpful. I had booked an appointment with Masood, he was very attentive and patient. He took his time and was very thorough. Would highly recommend this medical centre.

Great doctors when you can get into to see one. This clinic is all about making money. It can’t service it’s current client base without being booked out for 2 days yet insists on taking new clients. Even with underlying Health conditions no questions are asking when making an appointment only to say no we are booked out. Time to find a new clinic that actually has empathy for their patients rather than how much their return cheque from Medicare is.

My wife came here with my two babies. She waited 45mins to be seen by Dr Niyomi Perera who then refused to see my daughters because a standard consultation had been booked instead of a long consultation. Completely unethical and unprofessional, what kind of messed up person refuses to see two sick babies! Doctors are meant to care for people especially unwell children! Stay away from this place, foreign doctors who lack ethics and don’t know how to do their job

The reception that take appointments are so unreliable. I booked a day before to see a female doctor, I went for my appointment 30 mins ahead of my appointment time, was for over an hour and I was assigned a male doctor and the male doctor was very nice but I needed a gynae assessment but I told him I specifically asked for a female doctor so he told me there were female doctors that can see me. He escorted me to reception. I asked who made my appointment yesterday, they wouldn't tell me. I was told to was told to wait again. I couldn't, I walked away. Not very happy with admin. I wouldn't recommend making appointments. I would rather walk in and see whatever doctor is available. Very disappointing.

Don’t bother if you have a real medical condition. Majority of Doctors are useless and will not prescribe medication as needed. One said I had more chance getting heroin on the street than him prescribing me with painkillers. Go to Daniher Drive Medical instead of wasting your time with these fakes. And forget the pharmacy, unless you like paying top dollar for your meds where they charge you like a bull. Was a good Medical Centre once upon a time, but no longer and I will never return unless dragged in kicking and screaming.

Called Doc, to have my 11th month child seen because we think she might have suspected croupe, and Doc rejected us because they think she has Covid, yet my 11th month old has just been recently tested for Covid and is Negative. I will never ever recommend this clinic to anyone due there disrespect and shunning us away from this clinic If you have a sick child do not even consider going there

Was trying to transition into this clinic for my medical care but I have been trying to call the number for the past 2 weeks everyday and it's always engaged and says "line busy" I looked for an alternative email and there is none. I made comments on their Facebook page however still nobody has responded. Highly unprofessional and disappointed in this place and now completely turned off!

Arrived 15 minutes before booked time as I didn't want to be late. But waited there for more than 50 minutes before a doctor call us. It is just unbelievable! The receptionist just kept telling us "you are next", not helpful at all! It wasn't even a busy day! Absolutely unacceptable!

This use to be a clinic but is terrible now. Big sign up at Reveption desk stating “please keep noise to a minimum” how ever the 3 male Indian Receptionist were yelling and laughing talking about cars etc. waited 50mins to see doctor. I think they just try and take as many appointments as possible and have no time management. Will never return here again.

Generally I am very happy with the consultations and services at the clinic. Most doctors are good and experienced. Although lately my experience hasn't been that good. Doctors seem to be in a rush and don't even listen properly to what we have to say regarding our condition. They don't give enough time to explain. I book long appointments when I think I have to discuss more than one issue. I don't want to pinpoint to doctor's name but I have had few consultations with this doctor for myself and my daughter. This doctor is always in a hurry. They would just comment in yes or no or minimum words to my queries and would not suggest or ask anything on their own. They would just answer to what I ask. The clinic charges a lot for general consultation and at the end I am not satisfied with it.

The place used to be great but now it's over crowded and under staffed. Doctors are always running behind schedule. It defeats the purpose of making appointments if you always have to wait more than 30 minutes after your appointment time has passed. A bit disappointing. Maybe management needs to look into it

Apparently COVID-19 is the only virus/illness in the world. If you sick you are on your own as they will refuse to see you in person. Phone appointment is your only option but they then can’t diagnose you without seeing you. They are failing the community and their ethical/moral obligations. They refuse to see a sick 1-year-old. If they are scared to be around sick people, then they need to find a new profession. Pathetic.

Been going here since forever with my two young children and partner always been great. But today I told my child in to see a doctor got in 15 minutes early like normal waited 40 minutes past my appointment time to be called in and told that doctor can't look at my sick child because she's pregnant and that I would have to go back and rewait for the next available doctor. After waiting a further 30 minutes I asked on the wait time to be told it's up to another hour before we could be seen again because technically we had been to our appoit and needed a new one. So I now have a sick child who hasn't been seen by a doctor yet waiting for her appointment at another doctor's office.

Spend more time in the waiting room than ever in with the doctor. I arrived 10 minutes early to my appointment to be left waiting over an hour because the receptionist forgot to check me in. Other times have just been left waiting ages in the waiting room as the doctors are running incredibly behind. Have been coming here for many years, but will be going elsewhere now.

Could not be happier with the care provided by Dr Nusrat Shati. She really goes above and beyond and I appreciate it her for it. The practice as a whole is great too. They are open very late and the pharmacy within the practice stays open until the they are sure the last patients can get their medications. Keep up the good work.

Dr Busha Ahmed told me that I was just fat and that I wasn’t disabled despite having multiple screens of my disability which confirm I do, if me being in severe pain wasn’t enough for her. Refused to run any form of tests because I “seemed okay” when I walked in, during a good day while being heavily medicated for pain from said disability. She referred me to a dietitian instead of listening to me about the disability, where I even named the exact medical location for it. I’ve been coming here for years and because of her, I will never come back. I’m absolutely disgusted by how she treated me and if you’re considering making an appointment, avoid her at all costs if you’re even a little overweight. I guess it’s easy to pat yourself on the back by reducing everything to being a weight problem!

The lady receptionist today is just so rude. I asked for an appointment today because the doc has asked us to return back if my 18 months old baby isn’t getting any better. I understand that you are booked out so I said I’m a regular customer and doc asked us to return back. She said we have 20,000 customers so you are not the only one. And I understand that but is that a polite response? Great customers service and zero sympathy. I don’t understand why your receptionist are so rude here.

Had the unfortunate experience of having to PAY to see a negligent Dr Welendawe, who was seemingly more concerned with other things than properly diagnosing my child. Fever of close to 40 degrees but checked nothing useful - didn’t check ears, nose or mouth. We ended up taking ourselves to the emergency department where they were able to properly diagnose him and provide him with the medication he actually needed. Waste of money and time. Absolutely useless.

I had a very good experience during my visit to the Lakes Boulevard Medical on 3/4/23. The receptionist was very polite and efficient. Waiting time (to see the doctor) was not long. As usual. Dr Zar was helpful and attended precisely to my needs. He showed concern for my welfare was empathetic. He was encouraging and and has excellent bedside manners. Yes, indeed, it was a very good, if not excellent, experience.

A total lack of empathy, would not discuss more than the one health issue even though there were other contributing symptoms. When I was coughing she asked me what the cough was, I said my asthma was flaring up I asked if I could have a script for the preventative as I was out of it, she said she was only dealing with the one issue at this visit. Dr was abrupt, cut me off when I was trying to discuss or explain I felt unwell. It felt like there was a time limit on appointment. A very uncomfortable appointment. Would never go back to this clinic.

My family and I have been going to Lakes Boulevard Medical since it opened, and up until today I thought it was a great clinic. However, when I tried to get their help faxing a referral for my ultrasound (which I ended up not being able to have) today, as I had forgotten to bring it with me I was met with total incompetence! Not only did it take them nearly an hour to fax it to the wrong place, but when I called to ask them to resend I was hung up on 4 times by a rude and completely ignorant receptionist. After going in there to speak to the person in charge to let them know of the poor service I had received, I was left dealing with another incompetent person who showed absolutely no empathy, compassion or common sense! So disappointing that the support staff are giving this clinic a bad reputation because the doctors are wonderful, but I will be looking around for a new clinic.

They will not accommodate you for another appointment that day, they will just assume you will reschedule your appointment for another day. Management don't care. They will just get 1 of their receptionists to call their patients. Terrible customer service. I won't be attending this clinic anymore.

Doctors are good, however the organisation is very poor. I spent half an hour on the phone trying to make a booking. Then I arrive 5 minutes early, check in at reception and then wait for one and a half hours. I go back to the receptionist and ask why everyone who came after me was served before me and find out that the receptionist hadn't checked me in properly. When I raised this with the doctor he told me it happens regularly (REALLY?!?!). The management there leaves a lot to be desired.

Doctors are all great. I haven’t seen a bad one yet! Pharmacy has the best customer service I’ve ever had from a pharmacy. They’re friendly & know me by name. They deliver scripts locally for free, which makes up for them being more expensive than Chemist Warehouse. All it takes from me is a phone call, as they have all my scripts. The doctor emails my scripts to them which is so convenient. I just pick them up on the way out, or place my delivery request.

I have been a regular patient here for the past 6 years and have a lot to say. Waiting time is never too long and the clinic is open 7 days a week. There are numerous different doctors so you are bound to get an appointment in 1 working day. I have seen maybe 2 totally incompetent doctors here (one all of a sudden assumed I had mental health condition without proper questioning and concluded I had anorexia (??????????????????????? BIZARRE and if I actually really did, that was such an inappropriate way of attending to the matter. The good thing is I have never seen her since) and second doctor completely misdiagnosed me on a day I paid completely out of my pocket. I generally don't have that much of an issue and I understand the current crisis and need to charge patients out of pocket with lack of funding. BUT if you do plan on charging everyone out of pocket 7 days a week, please allow me to have a longer consultation. I had such a rushed appointment today where I was only able to see the Doctor for 3 minutes and paid at the reception. Its not a lot to pay but if you decided to start charging people, please allocate more time for your patients.

Fully satisfied of the service received as all my health care and advice needs for which I came to this medical centre were able to be very well met. It is gratefully appreciated.

Was seen on time no long wait . Very helpful receptionist Dr Florendo very thorough with the check up and not rushing at all . The pharmacy next to clinic have medication available no need to go anywhere when you’re not in your best health

Great practioners. They are good at their job and seem like they really care about their patients. The admin seem to get stressed and therefore get disorganised but they always try their best.

Doctor Zar is an amazing persona. Part of the shared care, he has been very detailed and concise at the same time. I normally able to get the appointment in a week's lag. Traffic management/parking system could be slight better, all the other facilities are fine.

Dr Jessica Thompson is an absolute gem. As soon as you walk into her room you can feel at ease and comfortable. She genuinely cares about her patience. All in all overall experience at the clinic was pleasant. Clean facilities.

After waiting 1 hour in the waiting room, I go back to the receptionist to be told that they forgot to check me in. They apologised and told me that I will be next in queue and as a result have been left waiting a further 30 minutes for the doctor to be available. Poor form, this is why I hate going to see a gp.

Dr. Shaun R. Was great. But one of the female receptionists provided terrible service tonight.

General Practitioners are inconsistent in treatment both medically and psychologically. Will not be going back unless absolutely necessary. There are some good GP’s here however overall I am disappointed with how I have been treated on multiple occasions.

Most doctors there seem OK. Although I had one who misdiagnosed a fractured heel as a muscle tear and wouldn't believe me when I told her where the pain was...sent me for xrays of ankle, not heel- not happy as it meant my recovery took 4 months instead of 6 weeks :( Other doctors listened and got answers. Be firm and make sure the doctor listens to you, after all you know your body!

Doctors have been great, reception staff the same. However, the pharmacy absolutely not. Overpriced for any medication, and the pharmacist always needs to put their opinion in about the meds you’re getting without any sort of context. Doctor & hospital completely aware what medication I’m on, how often I take it and the reason, but the pharmacist thought it was a good idea to make point of filling another pain relief script so soon in front of other customers regardless of knowing the circumstances. Way to make someone suffer even more than they already are. Even worse that it was said to a family member who had gone to get it for me because I was in to much pain to move. Take your script and money elsewhere.

Most Doctor's are great, just the pharmacy not so good, don't get webster pack from them, they can charge you extra money say your meds ran out when they should not off ran out, especially if you have qty of 30 in a box and take one a day then they say you ran out 2 weeks later? And have to pay for more? How is that possible? Run out in 14 days and there supposed to be 30 in a box so where's the other half?? If I was taking 2 a day that a different story then yeah 2 week pay for more, but I was only taking 1 a day. It's one foreign head pharmacist lady that does it. She should be fired

Great local clinic. Can sometimes have extended waiting times even with an appointment. Reccomend calling before you arrive and they will let you know if the doctor is running on time. Other than this, everything you need in one location. Chemist doctor and pathology all under one roof.

1 start is way too much for this clinic . Don't bother going there , Dr's are always even with their tele health appointment. I always been waiting more than 1 hour to see a Dr for 2 Min which should be 15 Min app. Useless receptionist, none wants to assist you with any inquiries. Imagine they cancelled my appointment 30min before as Dr msoud didn't show up and they didn't bother themselves to book me in with someone else 😅😅😅😅

I can’t believe any clinic would leave any customer on hold for over 10 minutes! I have called this clinic 4 times and left a message on their Facebook page to get them to pick up a parcel that was wrongly delivered to my address and they have ignored me every time. I can’t imagine what they’d do if it was important.

Been going to this clinic for so many years now and from my experiences, it's a good clinic. However, it's very difficult to get on the phone with them. It now goes straight to this weird music instead of their usual voice mail and hold line, and no one ever answers the phone. Please fix this.

Not at all happy! I had to tell doctor what sons skin condition was Prescribed cream which didn't work Back to another doctor after 2 days who said cream wasn't enough and agreed with MY diagnosis but needed oral antibiotics too Very poor if doctors need patients to diagnose then don't prescribe correct treatment First and last visit!

Be away from this clinic, they try to push people to come and see doctors many times. They also don’t give a prescription for regular Medicin. Unless you don’t have any. Special, Stay away from dr Nouha Osman

I have found ongoing communication problems with the manager named joanna Prevously with Juni This was an efficent friendly and supportive part of my medical team. I have cronic illness and i do need support. The ladies whom work behind the counter are lovely however i will avoid communicating with the new pharmacists/manager named Joanna as much as i can. Its a shame that this veautiful caring pharmacy has been let down by the one person whom doesnt allow effective communication and hangs up on you without having the ppurtunity to order necessary medication Great service has declined.

I have been visiting doctors here for past few years. In the beginning was good, but last few GP visits I made, it seems we are dealing with GPs with no empathy for patients, very quick to prescribe medication without getting to know facts. Will not recommend Dr Thusitha Welendawe, he lacks empathy and professionalism as to how to deal with patients. He is there to judge you personally, does not speak in respectable manner. Also does not let you speak as he knows best. I truely believe he does need to learn some work ethics as to how to speak with human beings.

Fine for a basic flu shot or continued prescription, but there is no consistency with service or knowledge between the doctors. I would advise paying privately for a doctor that specialises in your area of needs because I have met many rude and judgemental doctors here who are of no help to me at all. Their knowledge of how to support you best depends entirely on who you get and whether they can be bothered helping you.

We have a great doctor there we have been seeing for 8 years. Have had numerous poor administrative service at this practice- worst was when 8 other patients referrals were mailed to us. Admin staff do not know when doctors are available and frequently on line booked appointments get changed or phone consults do not get fulfilled. Stay away from this place !

Right so the receptionist today that handled my call was awfully rude and dismissive. Currently still waiting for something from them and haven't received it. I asked about the thing that I need and she said the doctor is busy and before I could even say thank you for your time she hung up on me. It's not purge day yet. The doctor was fast and good just still waiting for my thing.

First time going to the clinic today and received excellent service from the moment I walked in to when I left. The receptionists were lovely and Dr Gayani was extremely helpful and attended to my every need with such care, and made me feel extremely comfortable! Extremely happy with everything and will be coming back in the future

Went In today for an appointment with Dr. Dassanayake, left with the worst experience. I don’t usually go to the doctors but in this case it was needed as I needed a medical certificate for tafe. I told her I was sick Monday- Wednesday and was unable to attend, she replied back to me saying “well you don’t look sick to me” and also followed this by saying “next time go to emergency hospital if you need a doctors certificate if you can’t get an appointment” so because I was unable to get an earlier appointment I can’t get my medical certificate? This was ridiculous I was understanding of what she was saying but I expressed that I was not able to get an appointment but she clearly did not care and did not even bother to ask if I was still unwell, she took it upon her self to just judge me on based off how I looked. So you’re telling me I have to sneeze and cough all over someone to be sick. There was simply no care of duty and felt beyond disrespected and not even cared for. Maybe next time I’ll come in my pjs and bed head so I “look sick” so I can actually get help

So glad to be associated with Lake Boulevard Medical. The receptionist is kind, and respectful, ready to assist. Though my wait was longer than usual. I appreciated the kind, gentle approach of Dr Rueben. He is singled out for his patience, honesty and rewarding care. I will not only want to continue with them, but will make sure my family switches over to them.
