A
must
see
and
visit,
walk
in
the
Chicago
downtown
and
Central
loop
area!
This
1.25
mile
walk
is
absolutely
relaxing
and
can
also
be
very
busy
depending
on
the
time
of
the
day.
This
stretch
on
the
south
side
of
Chicago
River,
from
Lake
Street
to
Lake
Michigan
is
lined
up
with
art,
monuments
and
museums,
bars
and
restaurants
etc.
The
best
time
to
visit
is
probably
earlier
in
the
mornings,
especially
if
you
want
to
jog
along
the
river
walk
take
a
quiet
stroll
before
it
gets
crowded
mid
day
or
especially
in
the
evening.
There
are
several
activities
along
the
river
such
as
kayaking
and
boat
tours.
There
are
museums
such
as
the
Chicago
Architecture
center
and
the
McCormick
Bridgehouse
&
Chicago
River
Museum
along
the
river
walk.
You
can
also
catch
a
lot
of
public
art
along
the
river
walk.
You
can
catch
a
glimpse
of
some
of
the
spectacular
high
rises
and
architecture
of
Chicago
downtown
from
along
this
walk.
Would
recommend
a
few
walks
along
the
river
walk,
at
different
times
of
the
day
to
get
different
perspectives
and
experiences.
