Libbey Beach Park

Tourist attraction Park Public beach

👍👍 First time here. Seems small when you arrive but don’t be fooled! There is a nice grass area with a picnic table for eating and whatnot. You do have to walk down some stairs to get to the actually beach itself but it’s not many and they aren’t too steep. The beach itself is like most beaches. Rocks,... People often mention beach,

First time here. Seems small when you arrive but don’t be fooled! There is a nice grass area with a picnic table for eating and whatnot. You do have to walk down some stairs to get to the actually beach itself but it’s not many and they aren’t too steep. The beach itself is like most beaches. Rocks, sand, driftwood. Beautiful view, our course. There weren’t many people here when we were there.there isn’t a lot of parking, so I could see that being an issue on a busy day, but it was just fine when we were there. Also, there is a port-a-potty on site, should you really need to go!

Magnificent. Few places match the views. On top of that most people don't even know about the place. Many sunsets alone. Just me and the waves. Come when the tide is lower or in the summer so you can walk on the beach. Winter months prove harder to do so.

Stunning views of the Olympic Mountains across the Strait of Jean de Fuca. Wild and rugged beaches stretch in both directions for hiking and exploration (check tides for safety). Excellent vantage point for birding and marine mammal sightings.

The views are great, it's a quiet place away from most of the tourists but that's possibly due to the beach quality at low tide - not that walkable without good shoes but great for doing some kayaking off of.

Libby Beach Park is at the turn around at the end of a road. We used the fenced area to let our dog run around when no one else was there. There is a port-a-potty. The ocean side has steps down to the water, and waves splash near the bottom step but behind a wall made from pilings. Diving socks would be a good idea, or if you don't mind getting shoes wet, to walk on the shore.

Very small park with very nice views. Not much parking. We came early on a Friday morning and had the park to ourselves. At low tide you can walk on the rock beach. The colors of the rocks are amazing. Update: at low tide in late June there where little crabs everywhere!!!

Nice hidden little gem. Great beach. The cliff bluffs were amazing. Those houses must have amazing views. Small parking area, vault toilet, picnic area.

Such a beautiful, and different, beach. This is 90% rocks/pebbles. You can walk quite a ways along it, but be aware of the tide, it can come up high and block you from the access point. If you can stay a while, find a spot to sit and just listen. The sound of the waves rolling the rocks as it goes in and out is quite an experience.
