Most visited visitor centers in Mount Ranier National Park. Very beautiful location leading to a lot of hiking trails. Skyline trail is the most famous one with breathtaking views, water streams, and glacier views. The air is so fresh here that you feel the freshness. Wild flowers and marmots welcome you.

When you go to Mount Rainier, this is one of the main stops you want to go to. This is the large visitor center in Paradise and is one of the most visited locations. If you want to let the kids out to stretch, use the bathroom and get a bite to eat, you can do it here. The parking lot will be full but if you keep circling around, you’ll eventually find someone leaving. The chicken tacos with rice and beans were actually pretty good. Worth trying if you’re needing a bite to eat. The top floor of the visitor center has a lot of different exhibits that tell about Mount Rainier and the wildlife in the area. Would recommend stopping if in the area.

A good resting place and source of information while visiting Paradise in Mt. Rainier! There's a parking lot just outside and there's also one down the road but it's about a 5-minute walk from the visitor center. The place can get very busy especially on the weekends. There's a small Cafe and deli in the back of the center and a gift shop upstairs. Information desk was closed during my visit but they do provide information about the nearby trails and condition.

The place is good for a breather! But the food sucks! Carry your own finger food ! Water is there! Coffee is also available; but all in all pretty expensive like most of Seattle! Do take a breather at - small town Elbe( birth place of Bigfoot legend) ! Three to four good waterfalls along the way! Plan for a full day! Carry layers of clothing and extra pair of shoes/socks and umbrella!

Great visitor center that has so much information with a lot of great park rangers to help! I recommend checking out the gift shop area as the merchandise is great! I like the paradise visitor center more than the one on sunrise! Don’t forget to being the National Park stamp book as they do have a couple of stamps here!

You will get all the information regarding the National park and and gift shops in this building. Also house a decent food court where you can grab lunch and eat in open spaces outside the building with an awesome Mountain View.

beautiful visitor center with a nice selection in their gift shop. i would recommend bringing snacks rather than purchasing from their dining area- spent over $40 on 2 wraps and a juice. parking also gets packed so recommend getting their early!

Nice clean restrooms available here but not that many stalls so sometimes there could be a line out the door. There is also a gift shop inside too. Have a seat on a soft sofa or view the displays. The other gift shop at the Paradise Inn closes later and is larger.

Beautiful spot. It wasn't crowded early in the day, but definitely got more crowded later on. Nice bathrooms and good facilities. Food, Coffee, Couches, this was definitely a great base camp for our day hike. Definitely worth a hike up the mountain! Whatever you have energy for will give great dividends.

This is the visitor center that you should come to for taking the Skyline Trail. During summer and fall months, do plan your trip in advance and make it a mandate to reach the parking lot by 7:30am. The lots fill up quicker than hotcakes sell, and you’ll be left to park two miles from the trail-head, by the cliff! Carry gear that suits your style and itinerary. It gets colder at higher altitudes and if you are planning to hike upto the Camp Muir, plan in advance and be wary of the quickly changing mountain-weather. You get food and drinks at the lodge, but find the prices surged beyond normal.

The Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center offers a serene and inviting respite for hikers, providing a warm and comforting atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The views are simply breathtaking, and the exhibits and information are of exceptional quality. You can also find a charming café and a gift shop to enhance your visit. This makes it a perfect spot to take a break, unwind, and learn more about the area while enjoying the surroundings. Parking can be a hassle.

Pretty nice visitors center.. had lots of snacks and food.. sandwiches and pizza.. even alcoholic beverages..! What do you need a Beatbox for by the top of a volcano? Idk ... but it's there if ya want it. 🤣 I had some sushi and bought a cute pair of earrings .. who would've thought. I recommend buying a parks passport to fill with stickers on all of your park adventures! Def stop in ♡

We visited the Henry Jackson Memorial Visitor Center at Mt. Rainier, and it's a convenient and user-friendly starting point for exploring the park. Unfortunately, they don't offer National Park Passports here, which is surprising for such a renowned National Park. Nevertheless, the center provides essential amenities like food, a gift shop, and information on trails ranging from easy to moderate to hard. Don't miss the opportunity to watch the theater presentation to gain a deeper understanding of Mt. Rainier; it's fascinating to learn that it's an active volcano! Visiting before winter arrives is highly recommended, as it's truly worth experiencing.

Loved it Need national parks pass or you can buy tickets online for a week (week pass). A good visit center with enough information desks, there is dining inside the visitor center. Nice to watch a 20min movie by the center on mount Rainer.well maintained washrooms. For better and faster parking one should arrive early or reserve in advance otherwise wait time in weekend is nearly 20mins. One of the great things is the mt.Rainier view and pictures. If you are looking for snow the right time to visit is in June. Many trek trails in and around mount Rainier,.

Spectacular place to visit. The views are amazing! If you have the time, stay for golden hour and sunset for the most breathtaking views. Even the camera cannot capture real life beauty

Great place to visit and learn about Mount Rainier. Clean, spacious. Park rangers are very helpful. There is small store on the first level and a lot of fun places to know history behind this amazing region. I was visiting on Saturday morning and it was really crowded from the moment they opened.

Excellent visitor center at the closest point to Mt Rainier. Get there early to get a parking spot at the visitor center or there are a couple of additional parking lots a short walk from the center. The visitor center offers a nice small exhibit about the history and geology of Mt Rainier. There is also a food court and theater that shows a short 15 minute video about Rainier. Also adjacent to the visitor center is a 121 room lodge/hotel that has been recently renovated. For non-inn guests you can still take advantage of the gift shop and coffee/ice cream shop. Travel to Paradise is about 3 hours from Seattle. If you go plan to spend a full day. Get your park pass ahead of time to save 20-30 minute wait at the gate.

👍👍 Awesome family farm perfect for fall and Halloween fun. The farm has a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and even an air powered apple blaster, plus more. Tickets must be purchased online. Tons of field parking. Earlier times are devoted towards kids and families and evenings are more geared towards adults...
