This is a unique place! The only place around this area where you can have a bonfire at the beach. They have 6 fire pits🔥, a covered patio with picnic tables, BBQ pits and a playground. The bathrooms are clean and maintained nicely.🚻 The park is open daily until 10pm. It's one of my favorite places to watch the sunset 🌅and fly kites.🪁 Conveniently, there is the Diamond Knot brewery that sells 6 🍻packs to go as and a walk-up ice cream window🍦 I wish they sold bundles of wood, too! It's a great spot to take gorgeous pictures, as the back drops include the Mukilteo light house, the ferry, the Sunsets, and wild sea life🦦🐦🦭🦤🐋🐚🦑🦀🐙🐟👾 Enjoy🧜‍♀️

Beautiful and safe, the park has playground, covered tables and a lighthouse. The ferry terminal is next to here. Ivar's restaurant is there too.

Nice place to be if you're looking for a public area to visit the sound and see fairies come and go. 20 years ago this would have been a five-star spot except it seems Mukilteo has gotten a hair money hungry. It's going to cost you at least $2.50 to park for 1 hour, The Tide is always high here so there is very little beach to walk on, couple that with the constant commercial train traffic, I rate this a strong 3 stars. This is a good spot to launch your leisure or fishing boat, have a picnic on some well manicured grass with multiple options for gazebo covered spaces. The restrooms are satisfactory and the park is generally safe. Has volleyball but no basketball, a shame because basketball is a much more popular sport then volleyball. If you make it over to the lighthouse there is some history that is interesting along with original buildings built back in 1905. There is an ice cream store nearby with a walk-up window and a fantastic brewery next door to that. All in all a nice place to spend an hour or two getting some steps in on your pedometer.

Good playground and very clean restrooms. Fun beach to explore during low tide. Great spot for kites! Paid Parking required at main lot. The trains come thru and kiddos love it.

Beautiful, well maintained, popular waterfront park, with playground, picnic tables, fire pits, historic buildings, Native art, and lavender lined walkways. Delightful for all ages, very family friendly. Excellent restaurants ( especially my fav, Ivar's!) and an ice cream shop. Near the ferry landing so steady picturesque views of ferries coming and going. Self-guided walking tour, with brochures available at various stops along the tour.

Lovely, family friendly park right on the beach walking distance from a few restaurants, lighthouse museum is informative & worth the time if it's open. Shelters are available to rent. Volleyball pit, playground, BBQs & fire pits free to use - first come first serve on these. It's also on the local bus line. The only real downside is that non Mukilteo residents have to pay for parking.

Mukilteo Beach is pretty popular beach on the north side of Seattle. It is located between Everett and Edmonds and has a large paid parking ($2.50/hour). If you decide to come on a weekend, expect a lot of people to be on the beach. I like it as can easily access water and ride paddleboard here.

Great place on a nice day to take the kids or walk the dog ! Bathroom facilities available. I didn't give it five stars, because now you have to pay for parking. A long time ago it was free. Ivar's Fish n Chips closeby.

Absolutely beautiful beach! Park is great as well! We love the fire pits here, but they are first come first serve so I advise getting there early, there is only about 4 or 5 I think. Its a great place to watch the sunset! Great place for fishing on the docks too! Clean bathrooms. Parking lot costs money though so keep that in mind ! I believe we paid $9 for 3 hours. After sunset it does get pretty busy with a bunch of light up cars, which is fun to see but chaotic at times. Great place for family fun! There is also some grassy areas for playing catch etc.

Not much sand to speak of, but there’s lots of parking and Diamond Knot (within walking distance) sells enormous ice cream cones! You can watch the ferries come and go and there’s an area of grass big enough that there were three different kites up in the air. A covered picnic area, several picnic tables and a playground are also available.

Beautiful and very clean. People fish and kayak off the coast. You can find a lot of little crabs, sea shells, and more on the coast. There's no sand only rocks and the parking lot is very small. Great places for a walk.

One of my favorite gems in the PNW - grilled on the beach with my boyfriend - we brought our own and found a quiet spot on the beach. There’s a handful of free parking spots as well as paid parking that is monitored by police (lot closer to Diamond Knot Brewing); romantic date night spot when there’s a beautiful sunset!

Perfect day for Mukilteo Beach. We love it here. Swings, slides, sand, seals, swimming and Ice Cream! There is always volleyball and other activities happening plus dog friendly. Come BBQ & watch the sunset.

    Beautiful place to walk ...

  • 5/5 Peter N. 3 years ago on Google
One of our favorite beaches due to clean, non-stinky water and beautiful views. Unlimited rocks for kids to throw. Fire pits. Most days you'll see the ferry boats come and go, trains go by, and airplanes fly overhead. Has chowder bowls and ice cream for sale across the street. Only downside is paying for parking, around $4.50 for 2 hours.

This place has special personal meaning... Great grandfather was lighthouse keeper here. And other family history... I got to spend summers here back in 68, 72 and 75. Spent a lot of time on beach, Taylors Landing and fishing/swimming at the dock.

Visited the beach to watch the sunset. A great picnic spot to BBQ with friends and family. Gets a bit crowded, but great vibe overall.

We come here ALL THE TIME. Wednesday night, Costco pizza run and watch the sun set? Yes!! Saturday grilling and let the kids run? Absolutely. I've never had a bad experience.

One of the first beaches I went to when I moved here 10 years ago. They have developed so much more these past 10 years and have reconstructed the access to the ferry. There is paid parking so be sure you have your credit card, they do not accept cash. During the week it is not packed but if you are going on the weekend expect the parking lots to be full especially during the summers. There are plenty of seating areas, walking pave trails, beach access, bonfire locations, and plenty of room for your dogs and kids to run around. They do have doggy bags if you forget to bring yours. There are bathrooms in two areas one by the Mukilteo lighthouse and one to the right of the large parking lot. Please be aware that seals may be present so do not disturb them or the rangers will fine you.

Pay parking during certain hours. Great restrooms. Playground toys for the tots. Covered picnic areas with small bbq grilles.

I had the pleasure of visiting Mukilteo Beach during the summer, and it unquestionably stands out as one of the premier destinations in the area. The captivating views, iconic lighthouse, and inviting fireplace create an experience that is nothing short of mesmerizing. One notable feature of this beach is the abundance of parking space, ensuring a hassle-free visit for all. This convenience makes it an ideal spot for a serene evening excursion, where you can immerse yourself in the breathtaking surroundings and enjoy a moment of tranquility. Furthermore, Mukilteo Beach is strategically located in proximity to several exceptional restaurants, which adds to the overall charm of the area. After a delightful time spent exploring the beach, you can treat yourself to delectable cuisine at these nearby dining establishments, further enriching your overall experience. In summary, Mukilteo Beach offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty, historical significance, and convenience. Whether you're a local or a traveler, this enchanting beach is certain to leave you with indelible memories of an extraordinary visit. It's undoubtedly a must-see destination in the area.

Today was the perfect day to go to the beach. Nice breeze. All the boats on the water catching salmon. I would definitely recommend visiting the top of the light house and signing your name in the guest book. Beautiful views.

My recent trip to Mukilteo Beach was genuinely impressive and filled with excitement. One of the standout features of this beach is the abundance of parking available, making it easy to access and enjoy. Additionally, the beach itself is pristine, with crystal-clear water and a picturesque shoreline that is truly breathtaking. While there are many positives to Mukilteo Beach, it's important to note that there are some drawbacks as well. For example, one of the main things I noticed was the need for more shaded areas or covered spots to sit and relax. If you plan on spending a lot of time at the beach, you'll want to bring an umbrella or a tent to help shield you from the sun's rays. Overall, I highly recommend Mukilteo Beach to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day out in the sun. With its beautiful scenery, ample parking, and numerous activities, it's truly a wonderful place to visit. I stumbled upon a delightful walk-up ice cream parlor during my visit to Makoto Beach. Despite the lengthy wait in line, which lasted for over 40 minutes, my patience was not rewarded with a delicious serving of ice cream. The parlor boasted an impressive selection of flavors, although, unfortunately, many had already been sold out by the time I arrived. Nevertheless, unfortunately, I settled for the classic cookies and cream.

Had some amazing time at Mukilteo Beach on a bright sunny day.. It was nice clean and very beautiful. And we did a camp style cooking on the beach. It was so amazing. Also we were lucky enough to spot 2 dolphins very near to the shore.

The beach has lots of cool rocks and driftwood, if you're into that sort of thing. Parking is pricy and inconvenient to purchase. We went in the evening and people were having bon fires and it was a nice atmosphere.

I spent a beautiful day reflecting on my own life and was taken in by the history of the native Americas that lived these shores. The art and life of those that lived here 1000s of years before we arrived should be respected and honored for thier continued contribution. Beautiful work has been done on the new ferry terminal. Loved the walkabout today.
