The Positive-My room was clean & free of pests. The checkout was stress free. There was complimentary breakfast & the eating area was clean & spacious. The staff were friendly & greeted me when arriving. The opportunities for improvement- It is technically a MOTEL, not a hotel. I had to walk outside into the elements when leaving my room to do anything like get breakfast...in an entirely different building. The "breakfast" was basic vending machine sandwiches warmed & displayed in warming dishes set in a "to-go" style. The "exercise room" was a small room with 1 treadmill, 1 row bike & 1 weigh scale...period. The furnace in a hidden locked closet (right next to my bed!) ran & kept me up most of the night. Overall, it was a formerly old-model motel with a new paint job. Ok, but I DEFINTELY could have stayed anywhere better!

Do not stay at this hotel!!!! We stayed for one night, and there was a shooting incident. Our car got hit, and the tire burst. It's not only my car that was damaged; the hotel walls had bullet holes. When we checked out, they said they would compensate me for the car repair costs, and gave us the contact of manager..However, I tried multiple times to reach their manager, who had a terrible attitude and refused to take responsibility. First, they claimed they couldn't find my parking permit in the system, then I said I have the parking permit!! Later, they said they would refund the room cost which is (Marriott points) but wouldn't cover the car repair expenses… My car is rental car, we had a 4 day travel plan…But due to the shooting incidence we canceled our trip in portland. Apart from the car, if you want to stay alive, please don't come here. Otherwise, you might not even know what happened if something goes wrong.

Prior to check-in, I was having a second thought about staying here as I read several negative reviews. But it turned out I was happy I didn’t cancel my reservation. It is not a fancy hotel but very convenient as the room I booked had two separate bedrooms with own bathrooms. And staff at front desk were very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was OK, and yea they could perhaps update the decor/furniture in the room but it was also convenient that I brought my pet and room was easy to access from parking and plenty of grass area to walk my dog. So I am overall very satisfied with the choice of my hotel this time.

This RI is a mixed bag, location is great with plenty of shopping and food options within walking distance. Acces to I-5 and 405 is easy. The hotel is located along a small river, which makes for a nice setting. The rooms are standard RI fare and mine was clean and in good condition. So far so good, the hotel is charming BUT also very very dated=old. Pool seems to be indefinitely closed, gym is basically a broom closet with two old machines and the laundry room has also seen better days. The worst however is the service, no regular house cleaning provided. During the pandemic that was understandable, now however it is just a cost saving on guests' backs (room rates have gone up to boot). I asked for new towels, which were never delivered. The majority of the front desk employees seem to be utterly clueless (exception was the lady that checked me in). Net, not sure I would stay here again.

I am having a wonderful 2 day stay here. The staff is awesome and very friendly and polite. The kitchen has a full stove with oven. I LOVED that! I am traveling with my service dog this trip and it males things so much easier. There is a 7 Eleven about on the property almost and a terrific Mexican place with great food and service. It was nice and quiet last night. Love the constant air in the room. This is so sought-after for noise reduction and white noise for sleep. Will definitely be back. Huge room too!

Great location, felt safe and quiet. The pool isn't big but worked just fine. Friendly staff and very clean room. The beds were not comfortable for us, ended up on the floor lol can't say they were bad, just bad for us =)

Room is spacious but has old facility. It has a kitchen which we don't need. Breakfast is pretty 👍 The gym is essentially a tiny room with a running machine and weight set up to 15 pounds.

Awesome place to stay and close to the airport. Nice comfortable room, and one of the better breakfasts I've had at a hotel free of charge. Last minute I had a call I needed to be on for work and they let me checkout late to be on the call. Great service above all else!

I stayed here for 3 nights exploring Seattle downtown. I wouldn’t personally recommend it is quiet far considering traffic to downtown area. If you are staying one night just to make to the airport next morning , maybe you will be ok … You may get a NON urgent phone call from front desk at 7am in the morning because they are just “doing their job”. Yet they failed to communicate with their own staff to clean the room after 2 nights of stay for trash and towel change. You have to be mindful to understand their house keeping staff is too busy or have language barrier. Are they even legal to work at the facility?? If they cannot understand simple English “please clean the room”. You also have to “convince” the staff to have your room cleaned because you are checking out the day after. ( staff told us it is only one more night to check out when we asked room to be cleaned) Unless it is absolute necessity to stay here, look for other facility. Worst experience with Marriott after many years of being a customer with this chain

Room was comfortable and spacious. Property does need updating. Our room was clean. Hospitality service was excellent! Many thanks to Jeremy, Michael, and the breakfast crew for their thoughtful customer service. We appreciate it! Breakfast buffet is bountiful. Good value for your budget.

I stayed here prior to flying out of SeaTac early the next morning. I was assigned one of the four rooms directly facing the nearby six lane highway and the noise made it hard to sleep. Rooms and building are in need of renovation. I am a gold elite member and the hotel didn’t seem completely full so did not feel I was recognized for my loyalty. Would not stay here again.

Our kitchen caught fire over the weekend, so insurance put us up in the Marriott residence in tukwilla. It was really nice, the staff was kind and helpful. Early morning hot breakfast, and they have a pool( outdoor) and a tennis court/ basketball court.

It's like an apartment....a spacious, cozy, furnished apartment ...I could live there. Also it's located close to the airport and freeway. Across the street is a Wendy's which I love lol. The staff was friendly and helpful ...I really felt like they wanted us there and they took really good care of us., the per night rate was affordable....we had a great stay...I recommend the Residence Inn by Marriott

An excellent experience! One of the best residence inns I've ever visited - the rooms are basically large studio apartments with full kitchens and fire places. Most of all tho was the guest services team! Specifically Marc and Lady were both incredibly helpful going above and beyond to ensure a great stay!

Safety was a major concern of mine during my one-night stay. The locking mechanism didn't work properly on our door. Seeing as these units are not housed within a secured building, it made for a long and sleepless night, given the sketchy activity heard around the property well into the night. Notified the front desk persons of the issue and submitted feedback on the Marriott website. Beware of the area if traveling with young children. I do not recommend this place for this reason.

Clean rooms and kitchen has all what you need. Limited parking. nicely landscaped property. Need improvement in quality of breakfast offerings but at least they had Waffles which my kids loved.

If this is a new standard for the Residence Inn brand, I will happily stay at any other hotel. The first room we were given had coleslaw in the refrigerator, two maps from other people staying in that room before us on the floor, and the strong smell of marijuana. We were moved to a second room that has no functioning air conditioning because the thermostat needs new batteries, trash bags in front of two different rooms - and still there the next morning - a wet coffee mug and no soap or trash can for the bathroom. A very special stay awaits here for anyone else that has a neurodivergent family member. We sure won't forget this one!

Stayed here while looking for a house. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast is appreciated. The bottom of the tub in our room was quite curved making footing a little treacherous. Fell once and suffered a serious sprain. For what we needed at the time this was better than expected.

Stayed there from July 20-25, 2022 clearly summer time. I called ahead because my flight lands at 11:10 pm. Got there after midnight and driving into the parking lot there were the typical sketchy night people hanging around (due to the 24hr 7-11 store) and checked in. Got a second floor room which I usually request. Carried my bags upstairs and got into the room. The room was very warm and the thermostat said room temperature was 84 degrees. Figured saving energy. Set the temperature for 70 degrees but after an hour the room temperature dropped to 81 degrees. The toilet was an old round bowl which was not comfortable. Tried to sleep in the room but wasn’t nice. In the morning I went to see if I could move rooms. Front Desk clerk said she would try to move me by 11:00am, she apologized. Moved to the room below the hot room and everything worked and the toilet had an elongated bowl woo hoo. Then I found out the first room was supposed to be marked out-of-order due to the defective a/c. Then discovered 2 of the 3 washers were out-of-order for the past two months so I had to wait to use the one working washer. Then found out the swimming pool was out of order for just as long and it is summer. Couldn’t use that either. Then workers were power washing the in front of the room. But the overspray made the sidewalks dirty and the front door all dirty and no one cleaned it up ever. Housekeeping wasn’t servicing my room even though the cart was in front of my room a couple of times. Room interior was nice but I don’t know who did the closet. The closest had a shelf to mount the room safe but the closet rod was mounted just above the safe/shelf so you couldn’t hang any clothes and there were no hangers either. This was so unlike a Marriott property and it wasn’t cheap. Location for what I needed was great even with the 7-11 night people. I would not be returning to this property again. 5 nights and $1,000 later wasn’t worth it.

Where to begin. I wanted to do some nice for the family and go visit my sister in Seattle for his birthday and I decided to use my points. And let me tell you, it was the worst God awful room we have ever stay in it seems like it was a room for the employees would use if they want to take a nap or stay in if the place was no busy. The room smelt like it wasn't clean for month dust everywhere, cobwebs on the ceiling. Dust on the ceiling fan from when it first open it didn't help we got a split level room looking down from the upper level. Oh man the smell it was awful it was a cross between dirty gym bag and urine. And the carpet was not ever vacuumed. I am not the one who complains but it was awful.

solidly a three start hotel. i would stay for an extended amount of time and it is dog-friendly which is a bonus. long-term, park and fly options but call ahead and reserve a space. they also will call a lyft for you if you need to get to the airport which is handy. full apartment style rooms (full kitchen, living room, etc)

We spent 5 days in a old style cabin like room. It is close to shopping and it was convenient to people we were visiting. Good coffee in the morning with oatmeal and yogurt. (Other things were available, but bring your own ice and water).

This hotel is a solid 2 stars. We’ve stayed at many Marriotts and this one just doesn’t measure up. One star for the quiet location. One star for hot breakfast, my kids love the waffles. But, the pool is closed with no explanation why, a huge disappointment. The laundry room is filthy and two of the machines are broken. The couch in our room had smears of something on it upon arrival, the first thing I did was wipe it down. (Why am I doing this on vacation??) Found a previous guest’s dirty socks on the floor by the curtain. The dishwasher in our unit doesn’t drain. The grounds aren’t well kept. Just a lot. And a lot of it yuck. The location is good but I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. The details matter!

Overall, the stay was nice and worked well for our family meet-up. The staff was helpful and got us our transportation rides right on time. The area is close to a walking park and several restaurants so there was plenty to do around! The breakfast was a little small compared to the day before (not sure why it was so different) and some things were empty, like some of the milks. But it may have been out of the ordinary 🤷🏼‍♀️. The stay was a little expensive (as per my Mom) but we were grateful for our little apartment that fit all of us and gave us a place to be together!
