A cute venue with a cuter patio, amazing staff, all enveloped in great values. Walk off the othello light rail link station into this awesome cafe. The vibe is very much unique and cool. I enjoyed the Pesto breakfast sandwich, a cappuccino, the artichoke blossoms, Mac and cheeze, and great conversations. The portions are small but I think they are great for a lovely lunch. It was perfect for a sunny crisp lunch date with some friends. It’s a place I can work or enjoy a nice book while immersed in an oasis in the middle of the community. Will go back to enjoy the chill vibes and the love of the community.

So good! I love the vibe of this place and their food is really good and I can’t imagine Seattle without it. Spacious, bright, and the service is great. They have a couple bathrooms, heaters situated outside. I wouldn’t recommend getting an espresso but they do mixed drinks exceptionally well and their food is delicious.

Warm and cozy spot for delicious food. Breakfast sandwiches are so good, love the bacon breakfast sandwich. Try the raspberry white chocolate latte! This food and friendly service will turn you into a repeat customer! All vegan, all delicious! 💚🌱😋

Super excited to learn everything they have is Vegan. So had to go and give them a try. Had the pesto breakfast sandwich and cold brew. It was very yummy. The staff was friendly, happy and fast! Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more.

Favorite vegan breakfast I’ve had in Seattle so far! Got the sausage breakfast sandwich with a hash brown, and a pumpkin spice latte… all amazing!! Cute interior and overall vibe. Parking isn’t hard to find. The restaurant is also right next to the light rail. Would totally recommend! :)

Great spot! Very much recommended for vegan/lactose intolerant folx as well as anyone who is immunocompromised. Entirety of staff was masked when I went in today. Creative yet straightforward and delicious drink options. Entirely vegan food menu.

Someone else wrote "literally the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had!" I have to second that statement. Absolutely delicious! I also got the chocolate energy bite and the matcha latte. Both were delicious and I love that the match defaults to unsweetened! I will definitely be back! I would have taken a picture but it smelled so good I dig in before snapping a pic.

Cafe Red is a great place to get a great coffee and breakfast. Oh and try the Thai hot sauce, awesome. We stopped here 3 times on our vacation. Staff is awesome and friendly. The hot sauce had to go home with us.

Went here for my first time and the overall experience was great. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, mac and cheese, and chocolate cookies. The cookies are super yummy! I ended up getting 3. The sandwich and mac and cheese was also really good. Customer service was amazing! I can't wait to go back.

Have enjoyed Cafe Red since they were just a coffee cart servicing the Othello and Columbia City light rail stations. Glad to see they have survived and thrived post-covid and love the remodel inside and especially the back patio. As an independent coffee shop they have done amazing work to help re-energize and re-define the neighborhood, providing a venue to casually meet, get coffee and food, plus provide cultural opportunities throughout the year.

Such a cute little spot with friendly employees! It's not too often you find a reasonably priced vegan breakfast/brunch place. The pesto breakfast sandwich was delicious, highly recommend!

What a gem!!!! A great place to hang out, both inside as outside on their pretty patio in the back. Lots of space! Coffee is absolutely amazing, meticulously brewed and poured, the crew knows EVERYTHING about what they serve. We were lucky enough to meet the co-owner Jesiah, but missed Haley... The designs, the interior, the crew friendliness and knowledge, the quality of drinks AND the FULLY VEGAN menu would have made this my second living room in Seattle if I had only lived there.... Oh... They also sell stroopwafel!!!

First timer here with my hubby. I just love the atmosphere: very cute and esthetic. The bathroom is so cute 🥰. Drinks are refreshingly good! Breakfast goodies are delicious 🤤. Highly recommended!!!

It’s a cute little cafe with a nice outdoor patio where I’ve had the most fun hanging with my vegan friends listening to talented Jazz musicians and poets and artists of every kind! The drinks are delicious, the sandwiches are hot and melty, and they are gracious enough to allow us to reserve the space for birthdays & small get togethers as well! ❤️ It’s run by really rad folks!

Everyone there is very friendly, and they easily have the best some of the best food and coffee I’ve had in my life! Absolutely a must try even if you aren’t vegan/vegetarian! If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be the pesto breakfast sandwich from Cafe Red and it isn’t close!

Great vegan food in a laid back atmosphere. I had the gluten-free macaroni and cheese and was pretty amazed! Others in my party had various sandwiches and were very impressed. Good selection of breakfast and lunch items, plus a variety of coffee and tea beverages. Conveniently located by Othello Station. Highly recommended!

I go here from time to time. Their coffees are really good, but a bit overpriced in my opinion, but keep in mind that everything is vegan here. Not as big of a fan of their burritos, but I have yet to try their breakfast sandwiches.

Delicious food. I had the bacon egg sandwich, which was delicious. Bacon is one of those things I miss as a vegetarian, and this hit the spot for me. There were so many choices and I will be going back for more! The place was clean and the people were friendly too.

Their matcha with vanilla is really good. For food I usually get the cauliflower bites or the hash brown and both are delicious. The people who work there are friendly, overall great cafe. I don't think the parking situation is great but it's right by the light rail station.

This is such a great place to get amazing coffee. My favorite is their canella brew. We travel from near Tacoma whenever we can just for the great service, fantastic vegan menu and excellent service. Their outdoor is great year round (they have heaters for the patio in the cold weather). I tell everyone who is looking for a good cup of coffee about Cafe Red.

Had a great time with my friend and the cold brew had me energized all day for work! Will definitely try the oatmilk cold brew latte next time as well as the other meal options! Loved the fire pits too and the staff was all very friendly. My friend told me about the things they do for the community and the lil shows they've had (pre-covid). Excited to see what they have to offer once things start mellowing out with the Pandemic.

Wow. This place is incredible. We are from DC and have driven across the country over the past week - vegan options have been few and far between. Stopped here for coffee and breakfast this morning and were blown away. The pesto sandwich is the best vegan breakfast sandwich we've ever had. The oatnilla was rich and creamy. And the atmosphere is perfect. A beautiful patio with cool decor made for a perfect breakfast spot for us to enjoy our meal with our dog. The staff are attentive and kind. This is the best breakfast spot, you wont be disappointed. We will definitely visit next time we're in Seattle!

The food was good but I didn’t feel like it was worth the cost. The bacon breakfast sandwich was better than the pesto one. The camellia latte was tasty. The inside is quirky - there’s a tiny bathroom super close to tables. It’s kind of grody. The outside area, however, is nice.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming. They have a simple menu with items suitable for breakfast or lunch, which I'll need to try soon. They have an exceptional cold brew with notes of chocolate and brewed well. They also have a rewards program. Support this great, local business :)

I've had the pleasure of door dashing this restaurant and I'm so happy I could finally eat it fresh. Absolutely delicious. I loved the atmosphere. Great vibes and amazing food. My carnivore brother said it was the best vegan sandwich I ever made him eat.

Everyone is SO nice here! The food is delicious & the coffee is great. I got the canela latte, easy on the sweetness (I like my coffee stronger) and it was amazing. I also recommend their canela cold brew and pesto sandwich. Plus it’s all vegan so no animals are harmed in the making 😌🫶🏽🌱

Coffee was good, but I wouldn’t recommend the gluten-free sausage breakfast sandwich. It was tiny and cost almost $10. One slice of bread was soggy and oily, the other hard as a board. The patty was fine, though, and it was flavored pretty well. Just overall not that well put together. I expected more than a foil-wrapped vegan take on the Sausage McMuffin for the price and from the rave reviews.

Literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in my entire life. Don’t listen to the other reviews- go see for yourself. Amazing coffee, delicious food, wonderful atmosphere. The staff are so nice and welcoming.

Best breakfast sandwich ever! The staff was nice, food and drinks came out quick, and the coffee was delicious. I wish they would open a location in Denver!

We got two breakfast sandwiches and hash browns with the oatnilla iced coffee and an iced americano. The oatnilla coffee was amazing and the best iced coffee I ever had. We loved the breakfast sandwiches too. Staff were friendly and service was quick. An amazing vegan breakfast place!

Cute coffee house offering cool, air-conditioned areas to sit and sip coffee while chatting with a friend or alone at a small table. Space is small but well set up. The coffee is good (I ordered a cappuccino) and the staff are friendly. This cafe sits right next to the Othello station and some other shopping districts, making it a lively urban area. When I went here, the couple next to me were having a deep conversation about venture capitalism and the plight of the economy, or something. Definitely had some intellectual vibiness here that I assume is an influence of the nearby UW student areas.

This is my favorite cafe. The best gluten free quick breakfast options in the city. Their oatnilla cold brew and chagaccino are so good!

Cafe Red has a yummy vibe happening here in the Othello neighborhood. It’s clean and bright both inside with a spacious outdoor patio. I ordered a tasty London Fog and it’s one of the better ones I’ve had to date! Curious to try other drinks and healthy bites. The wifi speed is adequate, nothing more than 27Mbps but I suspect it’s not ideal to do any video conference. I highly recommend this cafe if your nearby. I look forward to returning.

Great cafe in the South End. It is right by the train station. The staffs are very friendly and make great drinks. I like their matcha latte the best. It is not sweet like Starbucks. They offer variety of coffee and tea, baked goods from a local bakery, breakfast and lunch. Street parking only. They also host many events like comedy night, jazz, open mic, etc.

We love this place so much! Best place in Seattle to get vegan breakfast sammies! Please come back soon, we really miss you and your delicious food!!!

Can't say enough about this place. The staff are super friendly, they even called me once when I forgot one of the items on my order. Best of all, their vegan and vegetarian cuisine is actually great food! My past experience with plant-based establishments usually results in a disappointing pile of soy, sugar, and breading. Not this place. I didn't even know it was plant-based until my wife told me. Everything was so savory and delicious particularly the breakfast wraps, they even have chicken nuggets that are unbelievably good and NOT chicken. By all means, put this place on your list.

I can't wait for this spot to re-open! As a transplant to the city, this was my first real Seattle cafe' experience that truly blessed my soul. The excellent staff, tasty food, high vibrational conversations, an open mike & all around good energy does not disappoint.
