Pretty much the best coffee you will find in the Seattle area. Shots are always nutty and sweet. Not bitter. I wish I lived closer.

My wife loved her coffee. I had the Sencha Green Tea added honey and lemon. Pretty strong, but good.

I’ve only been once so far but I’d love to go again. The person that works there/owns it is so kind! I left in a great mood! The Italian soda was great and flavorful, and at the time he had blueberry coffee cake - which was amazing! I’d love to support this small business when I can.

I can't believe I've never reviewed Copper Tree! I have been going there for a couple years now and I make it a point to go even though I don't live in the city-- the owner is incredible and makes everyone feel welcome. The coffee is great, and the food is too! Make a point to make this your regular coffee shop.

Friendly barista that went above and beyond assisting us. He provided the kids with a chalkboard and chalk, which they absolutely loved. My iced chai with hemp milk was delicious! I'll definitely return.

I just love this local coffee spot so much. The owner is so friendly and genuinely kind — I love supporting their business! It doesn’t hurt that the coffee is always on point (they even get the temperature right every time!). Copper Tree, I appreciate you!

DOES NOT HAVE DINE-IN ANYMORE! So, I didn’t stay, but pastries looked pretty good and the barista was super nice and directed us to another local coffee shop with dine-in.

Stop. AND get a coffee from Copper Tree. Cortado? great. Mocha? delightful. I even had a double espresso there and it was quality compared to something with extreme quality. Will I come back? yes. thank you

A really cute little coffee shop with fantastic service and a really friendly owner. I love that there are so many variations of London fogs.

After living in the neighborhood for over a year(and my espresso machine broke), I've finally been able to frequent this spot with more regularity. I love the service and warm hellos I get from everyone. Even my dogs get a treat and a courteous greeting. Their lavender lattes and red-eyes are excellent and I have nothing but respect for the impressive croissant. I will be regular moving forward- or at least until my machine gets fixed.

It was my first time visiting this cafe and there was a long line of people from UW. When we finally got up to the counter to order, the owner thanked us for our patience and expressed that he had an unexpected rush. I ordered a tea latte and he helped me pick which one to order. He only charged me $2 for a tea rather than charging me full price for a latte and again thanked us for our patience. Good customer service still exists?! The latte was great and we had a positive experience in this adorable cafe. The cafe certainly has a charming personality to it and it's in a great location. Good customer service is hard to find these days, but Copper Tree can't be beat. I highly recommend this place! We don’t live close but we will definitely be back!

We met the owner. Best coffee I’ve had. He knows his stuff! Great pastries to go along with great coffee. Our first coffee stop in Seattle. Very nice welcome!

Awesome neighborhood spot - definitely stop by if you are in the area! Great coffee, super friendly staff, with a standard selection of snacks and pastries. A classic small and local-owned gem.

Had a wonderful experience for my fist visit. They had a run on pastries that morning. No issue since they had the best croissant breakfast sandwich I have had in a while. Paired that with an iced coffee for the morning. The perfect pour with a bit of cream and sugar. Top notch. Will be visiting again!

The ONLY thing I can wish was better was that it was bigger. They need seating. The atmosphere and tone of the place was lovely and the server was delightful! (Didn't get his name but he had the coolest hair and the nicest smile!) If ever I am in the area again I will be sure to stop by....that iced mocha had me cleaning out the bottom the cup when I was finished! YUM!

My first time visiting and will definitely be back. Super friendly, fast service. Uncommon flavors which I was looking for. Cardamom latte with a touch of honey was fabulous and addicting. Would be a perfect fall drink! Even gave me a discount as a first time customer. YOU SHOULD GO HERE!!!!

Excellent mocha at this small but mighty coffee shop in Capitol Hill. The barista is always friendly.

Absolutely love this place! Copper Tree has the best espresso in the city which is made even better by Izzy, the owner - one of the kindest and most generous people I've met in Seattle. Lucky to have this place in our neighborhood!

Absolutely wonderful! Coffee was delicious and the pastries were beautiful. It was my first day in Seattle and I was delighted by the sparkling conversation from the people who work here, they were so welcoming and kind. Definitely worth a visit - get a danish!

Takeout only espresso drinks and tea right now. Had a delicious doppio espresso. The barista really made it well. I appreciated that they tell you right on the menu that they provide sparkling water on request with an espresso. Prices were all marked as the price with tax, which is so thoughtful. Price for an espresso is $3 (or ~$2.70 before tax), which puts it around the same price range for similar small coffee shops. Additionally, americanos started at the same price point, which I usually take as a promising sign of a coffee shop that doesn't try to rip the customer off. As this is only a coffee house and not a roaster, they seem to buy their coffee from Blossom Coffee Roasters, a local roaster on Vashon Island (they also sold their whole beans here). They sold baked goods and other local products, like honey from a local one-man operation and espresso soap (soap with coffee grounds for exfoliation). They also had a little free library on the side of the building. Parking is street only. Otherwise, this is a place I might stop by for coffee during a road trip.

Currently serving Blossom Coffee Roasters but focusing on serving darker roasts, edging toward 2nd wave. Cute little shop, friendly vibes, more people focused than coffee focused.
