I absolutely recommend this place. If you're planning on visiting the museum be ready to spend at least 3 hours but if you can make it a day trip it will be so worth it. The history not only behind the airplanes but also the history and the life story of those who made it happen it's so amazing you can also find a lot of astronomy and space information. Price 4/5 $25 per person. No student discount. Place 5/5 Service 5/5 Time 3 or more hours.

I came in on the first Thursday of the month, a free day for everyone. This museum is a must-to-go place for those into aircraft and spaceships. You have a chance to get into these aircraft and enjoy your journey along with the museum. You better visit this museum more than once to grasp the knowledge fully. I highly recommend it to anyone

This is a must see. So many incredible aircraft and replicas. Everyone who came with us was pleasantly surprised. Probably the best value for any paid exhibit in the city. Very very happy we came here. If you have any interest in planes or space, it’s a MUST see. Will recommend to anyone visiting Seattle 10/10

A must see if you are visiting Seattle! We went on a weekday (Tuesday) just after 2PM and there were no crowds, lines or having to wait around anywhere. There was ample free parking which is always nice and the area felt safe unlike most of downtown Seattle. It is important to note that if you are going a little bit later in the day, the pavilion aircraft wing has limited hours during the winter months. If you come too late and you see the other wings first, you will miss the pavilion exhibits. There are a large number of planes and aviation related exhibits in this museum. We planned to stay here for three hours and believed it was more than enough time but I personally could have used another two hours there. The friendly staff members, quality of exhibits, and the nice clean modern facility made the visit a pleasure for me. One of the wings (Red Barn gallery) was closed when we visited. I'll definitely be back in the near future.

One of the greatest experience in Seattle is to go and see the Museum of Flight. The place is a great collection of 175 aircraft and spacecrafts and many other things to see. You may spend from 2-5hours. I love everything here. It is a good place for family and children. Highly recommended for a visit. The place is with wheelchair parking and accessible

A must museum to visit if you like airplanes and history. You can see and get into the aircrafts, understand the genesis of Boeing industry, interact with multiple items and enjoy learning about the industry. I strongly recommend.

An iconic place and top attraction in Seattle besides the Space Needle. Take the metro train for three dollars to reach there. The entry ticket is a steep 26 USD, but it is free on the first Thursday of every month. There are several galleries within the museum so plan how much of your time to spend in each one. A lot of walking is involved but there are a few benches to take quick breaks. ♿ The entire museum is accessible for the differently abled.

Wow! This place is incredibly cool. They have so many aircrafts and lunar vehicles on display. The exhibits are all well designed and signed. There are multiple huge halls with the planes and displays, including a large WWI and WWII exhibit. It would be a great place to take kids and yet the four of us adults had a great time. Highly recommend!

Went on New Years Eve with a party of 3. No wait. I can't believe I've lived here for over 20 years and never did this. It's amazing! Easily a 4hr plus trip and be prepared to need to rest if your not 20yo or younger. So much to see an do. Bring extra money for things like the virtual reality stations, they cost extra. Food is very expensive here so eat before you come. The gift shop has so much, we spent 30 min just in there. Kids will have an endless amount of things to do and see. I was disappointed that some of the big planes were closed so we could not go in them but there was still so much to do. Also, it's easy to miss the B52 Bomber outside, you have to follow a path to it and we were the only ones out there so I think many people missed it. Highly recommend! We will be back.

Just reopened recently with COVID mitigation measures in place. Must not be well know that it is reopened since it was not very crowded. Could spend several days in here to check out all of the exhibits. The world war II and world war I exhibit was very well put together and the personal stories bring together the large collection of planes.

If you like planes, this is the place to go. So much history, so many different planes to see. I spent half a day here and didn't get to see everything. I'm glad I went just before covid shut it down again. Will absolutely be going back once things open up again.

Highly, highly recommended. This museum is absolutely wonderful and valuable. You will have a terrific time. You can definitely spend a fair amount of time here and the admission is more than reasonable. There are plenty of attractions and their collection of planes and artifacts is absolutely unbelievable. Utterly fantastic.

This is an amazing museum! There is a lot to see.... the Space area is over a bridge on the other side of the road so don't miss that incredible exhibit! The Apollo exhibit is fantastic. We really enjoyed the war planes area as well. It's a great wealth of information and artifacts. We also came for Yuri's Night which was a super fun space party!!! Also, don't miss the gift shop! I got a bunch of fun things in there, including the little comet plush I did the photo shoot with. There is even Henry merchandise that matches the big Henry mural outside! What a great museum!!

Very well done, lots of detailed info for each airplane. Flight simulators to try if you wish (paid). The Apollo section was really cool too, glad we checked this out. A handful of ex pilots and staff here to really tell a cool story about their experiences. You don’t get that everywhere! Amazing

Being able to board the first Jet engined Air Force one, the third overall was absolutely amazing. To know that Dwight D. Eisenhower, and John F. Kennedy once sat in the President's stateroom desk was awe inspiring. Not to mention being inside a Concord and being able to see a Blackbird in person were truly amazing.

One of the largest museums of planes I’ve seen. The collection is across the eras from WW1 to current aircrafts. Further, there are a lots of miniature models and the simulator here is amazing. Loved the experience as my employer had blocked the museum for an event, exclusive evening event was even more special. Buy tickets early and plan to wait 40+ minutes for simulator (go for solo, worth it).

This place is an aviation fans dream. So much information on so many planes it is hard to take it all in. Make sure you allot enough time to see everything. We were there over Labor Day weekend so of course it was absolutely packed. I got to see an EA-6B . I worked as a civilian for years working on the radar jammer that was mounted on the plane. Really cool experience. Highly recommend.

I usually only go on the free night they have once a month and the parking lot is always packed, but there is parking across the street. This museum of flight has a lot of airplanes and other trials of flight on display. It goes through the Boeing history in the barn, has a WW2 section, a couple areas of space exploration, and a bunch of planes you can walk through like an Air Force One and 747. It's all very informative and neat to see. They also have a cafe and gift store. During the day you can watch airplanes take off as you eat.

Huge museum with a lot of planes. Parking is plenty, I would not recommend taking public transportation here; is quite a long distance from Seattle. There is a lot to see and learn if you love planes. The best part is walking through the planes and seeing the inside without any seats. There was also a food truck in the airplane hangar with a couple tables so that you can eat amongst the planes which is pretty fun. I got a club sandwich and it was a normal sandwich so that means it was good.

It's been a while since I've been here, and I remember thinking the museum was great when I was here previously. It has only improved since then. I was so impressed by what I saw on this trip, and I didn't even have time to see everything I wanted to. I'll definitely have to come back. I wish the museum had an outdoor plane spotting area on the third floor for taking pictures and video of the landing traffic at BFI.

I've always been a bit of a history buff that's why I really enjoyed the Museum of Flight. Lots to see and the museum itself is larger than I expected. You are allowed to sit in some of the planes to get a real hands-on experience. This is the place to take your kids and let them see the old planes and know about the history of each planes. Definitely a great place to visit and experience.

This is a must view place in Seattle, it'll take us to those historical days when flights started to till date of space with variety of flights displayed for us to get experienced. They also exhibit the rock brought from Moon, rovers used in Moon, vehicles used to go to Mars and more. They also have a kids area for the kids to enjoy, don't forget to visit the other side of the museum which contains the space shuttles models and much bigger flights including Air Force One. You can go inside each of these big flights and get an amazing feeling, they also have a separate section for flights used during World War I and II. You can spend leisurely 4 to 5 hours here if not more, my 5 years old kid enjoyed the whole day here. Lots of parking space and well maintained ambience to explore space and above.

The Museum of Flight is an excellent way to spend your day. Whether you are an aviation enthusiast or just want something to do for a day, this is an excellent way to spend several hours. They amazing displays of aircraft and Boeing history, as well as aircraft from all eras to include the early 1900s to modern aircraft. There are many exhibits you can walk through and explore, this museum is especially informative for young adults and children. The staff was a very friendly and the facilities are immaculate. The Museum of Flight is a must-see.

Seattle being intertwined with Boeing only makes sense for it to have a strong aviation history and this museum is the perfect representation for it. It is very detailed and very well planned out. If you start from one end, you can literally walk through the advancements every step of the way and finally ending up to where aviation is today. Plan to spend 2-3 hours if you want to look at everything properly and read up as well. I had an amazing time here and would highly recommend giving this place a visit if you’re into Aviation even a little

A Mesmerizing Flight of Museum Experience for the Whole Family! Min 2-3 hours of time/exploration is needed to cover this whole place. We recently had the pleasure of visiting the Flight of Museum in Seattle with our family, including our four and a half-year-old kid, and we can't stop raving about our unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the museum offered a fantastic blend of education, entertainment, and awe-inspiring exhibits that kept us engaged and captivated throughout our visit. Upon entering the museum, we were greeted by friendly staff who warmly welcomed us and provided us with useful information about the different sections and activities available. The museum's layout was well-designed and easily navigable, making it convenient for families with young children. One of the highlights of our visit was the interactive exhibits, tailored perfectly for kids. Our little one was absolutely thrilled to explore the hands-on activities, where they could pretend to be a pilot, operate control panels, and even sit in a real cockpit. The museum successfully struck a balance between fun and learning, fostering our child's curiosity and imagination while imparting valuable knowledge about aviation. The collection of aircraft on display was truly breathtaking. From historic planes to modern marvels, the Flight of Museum showcased an impressive array of aircraft that showcased the evolution of aviation. The exhibits were well-maintained, and we appreciated the informative signage accompanying each display, which provided fascinating insights into the planes' history and significance. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the flight simulators. Both kids and adults had the opportunity to experience the thrill of flying in a realistic cockpit environment. The simulators were equipped with state-of-the-art technology and offered an incredibly immersive experience. Even our little one was able to enjoy a simplified version tailored for their age, which they absolutely adored! Throughout our visit, we noticed the museum's commitment to creating a family-friendly atmosphere. There were dedicated play areas where kids could burn off some energy, and the staff was always on hand to assist and engage with young visitors. The facilities, including restrooms and dining options, were clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable experience for the whole family. Lastly, we must commend the museum's efforts in accommodating families with young children. They provided stroller parking areas, diaper-changing stations, and even nursing rooms, which made navigating the museum hassle-free for us. In conclusion, the Flight of Museum in Seattle proved to be an absolute delight for our family. It provided an engaging, educational, and interactive experience that catered perfectly to our four and a half-year-old kid while keeping adults equally enthralled. We highly recommend this museum to families seeking a memorable and enriching outing in Seattle. We can't wait to visit again and explore even more of the wonders of aviation! P.S. Fist Thursday of every month is FREE 5pm-9pm

I visited here back in 2018, and I loved it!! My favorite exhibit was the WWI exhibit. I just loved seeing some of the WWI aircraft. They had a Fokker Dr. Triplane. But my most favorite aircraft there was the TWA The Lindbergh Line!! I hope to visit again soon!!

We took my niece and nephew and wandered around on our own. The museum was full of awesome and fascinating things, from parts of a Saturn V rocket to Richard Nixon's Air Force One. Some things to see: Several airplanes from throughout history (my favorite is the SR-71 Blackbird), Flight simulators that let you attempt air combat, A history of rockets leading up to the Moon landings, A variety of larger airplanes you can walk through, A space shuttle replica with the ability to visit the payload bay and (if you sign up for a tour) the cockpit.

This place is exceptional. One of the best museums I've ever been to. They have something for everybody and you can spend as much time as you like. We went also for the Apollo exhibit which is a temporary exhibit. It was done exceptionally well and had many original artifacts from the Apollo 11. The World War 1 and 2 exhibits are phenomenal and tell many personal stories of people from the local area. All of the aircraft are restored as if they were brand new. The hangar across the street has many Boeing aircraft that you can walk through and see the inside. Included in this is a 747, 787, Air Force One from the 1960s, and Air France Concorde to name a few. Would certainly return to this place!

I came here on a Friday afternoon, and I loved it. For someone without a car, it was difficult to get to. I took the link and then had to take a Uber to get to the museum itself because it was out of the way. As for The museum itself, it has so many airplanes that you could literally spend a week here and still not see them all. There are different sections of the building devoted to different types of planes and eras. For example, there is a WWII section and WWI section, as well as modern day planes, Etc. I would recommend you spend at least a few hours here if not an entire day. My favourite parts were the big room right when you enter on the left and the outdoor park across the foot bridge where they have Air Force One, dream liner, and the massive 787 plane. There is something for everyone here, old and young alike. Would definitely come back!

Very disappointed that so many exhibits were not available for whatever reason. This included VR & interactive pieces. They should consider reducing the entrance fee until they have them all going again. I drove 200 miles to see this. The only saving grace was the nice weather and great staff/volunteers.

Fantastic museum, a must visit for all aviation lovers! They have 160 aircraft on display, and many more that have been restored but not enough space to display them. Lots of interactive exhibits, and the volunteers are really friendly and helpful if you want to learn more about specific aircraft.

Quite possibly the greatest museum I've ever been too! What an absolutely fantastic place to get lost in! So many incredible sights, including an SR71, Air Force One, and the final Concorde! Don't forget the first Boeing 747 and Boeing 787s to ever be manufactured! So much awesome history crammed into two massive buildings! You also get five dollars off admission with your valid AAA/CAA membership, and also for youths aged 17 or under.

Such a very interesting museum with lots of information on both world wars. If I was local, I'd be back often to explore the entire facility! We went to kill some time before going to the airport and they even offered to store our luggage in a locked room! So helpful and I highly recommend this as a day trip or as a place to explore! Perfect for any history/space/plane junkie, and I could see any child be absolutely amazed by everything there is to see and learn.

Such a cool museum. Our friends had their kid’s 1st birthday party here over the weekend. Loved the rocket and space exhibits the most. So interesting to read the history that’s lead us to where we are today. Not to mention it was amazing to walk around and under a Lockheed Blackbird M-21, and also really cool to walk through a Concorde jet!

Wow! Well worth the money. I spent over 3 hours here exploring the various exhibits and hangers. The world war exhibit was very well done with replicas of all aircraft used during the wars. One of the last 18 concordes was on display - unfortunately the walk through wasn’t available when I was there - it was for the 787, Air Force 1 and a few others. Plenty of expert guides were also available to share stories.

Seeing history unfold as one walks this massive museum displaying some of technology that made it capable for us to reach the shores of other countries and the moon. (Translated by Google) Since it is under the corona situation, it is necessary to reserve the admission time. Advance arrangements are required online! There were few people and it was completely monopolized. The space shuttle corner is more powerful at the Kennedy Space Center, but the view from the inside of the shuttle stand was fresh. There are various airplanes from all over the world. Was it Concorde that was surprising? The windows were very small. It's a museum that is irresistible for airplane and mecha lovers! It seems that you can come by bus, but I came from downtown by rental car. There is no parking lot in the city, but if you come here, you will not be in trouble with the parking lot. On the way back, you can also drive through the beautiful sea and mountains. I think it depends on the rental car shop, but if you rent a car from downtown with ubar and a one-day rent-a-car, the rent-a-car is a little cheaper.

Lots of amazing planes and historical exhibits. Clean, under cover, rain or shine it's great. It's quality curation. One thing I'd like to see is an exhibit on the maintenance these planes would of received during actual use. The museum is focused on the planes. I'd like to learn more of the people skills associated with them

This place is awesome for anybody looking to have a great afternoon indoors learning more about the great aeronautical history of the Seattle area. They have a ton of great displays and information for different eras and different types of flight. I live it here! 👍🏽

[Covid-19 Review] Museum has introduced limits on number of people inside, put lots of hand sanitizer stations and put guides on the floor to direct the visitor's flows. There signs limited capacity when using elevators, and some of the attractions are closed (mostly simulators of flight, etc). You can still see the insides of large Boeings, but cannot climb into smaller ones. Otherwise, very nice museum with lots of historical aircrafts, articles, videos and other. There are at least 5 large exhibitions from first planes to space shuttles. There is a cafe (with limited seating during covid-19), as well as gift shop (with similar limits). Highly recommend as a place to visit in Seattle area (especially in cold/rainy weather).

Very well put together museum. You could spend a few days looking at everything. My son loves the space exhibits and being able to walk thru actual aircraft. A must see!

I've been visiting since I was a kid and they keep making it better. It's a must visit if you're interested in Boeing history or aviation in general.

It was a bit surreal looking at these artifacts from the moon. My dad was involved with testing of the rocket engines back in the day. It’s first class all the way at this place. The whole family had a blast.

(Translated by Google) I paid a visit for some prototype planes that the Boing company builds. But what I found there is different There is a lot of information from the first bird and bat airplane, WWI planes to satellites, it is very entertaining to see so much information. (Original) Hice una visita por unos prototipos de aviones q construye la compañía Boing. Excellent display of the M-21 at above head level so you can walk underneath and get an up-close view of the unpainted titanium skin! And the SR-71 Cockpit display that is from a wrecked SR-71A #61-7977 even allows you to sit in it!!! I will post my detailed pictures of the many wonderful small details to be found. Interesting to see the different intake spikes on this, rather than one's from a regular SR. And it appears the starboard intake ring has a repair/replacement part. Love these Jets!

Amazing museum with something for everyone! This is a great museum! Obviously aviation focused, but it would also be very interesting to someone who wasn't interested in aerospace. There is plenty of information about the history of Boeing and other companies, the local Seattle area, important people/historical figures, etc. If you are interested in aviation though, this is an absolute must-see. They have a huge variety of aircraft (civil and military) from the origins of flight all the way through modern aircraft. There are several interactive displays, including several aircraft you can go inside (Concorde, 787-8, 747-100, 707 (air force one), 737-200, space shuttle mock-up, and F18 and SR-71 cockpits). They have great examples of common historic aircraft with documented lineage, as well as some less well-known and foreign aircraft. Even the most well versed aviation expert will come away learning something new. There's also a large amount of information on the history of The Boeing Company. They also have two excellent space exhibits. One exhibit with a shuttle mock up and several interactive displays (including a free shuttle landing simulator), and another in the main gallery. The main gallery exhibit is smaller, but has a large number of real items. Many space museums are filled almost entirely with reproductions, but they have numerous real items or original engineering mock-ups. There are also several items on display that have actually been to the moon! The museum also has a great view of the Boeing Field long runway, particularly from the air traffic control tower display. There are often cool things to see there, including the latest aircraft undergoing flight test at Boeing. There are multiple areas that are specifically intended for younger kids, so they will have a good time, too. There will be a lot of walking though, so a stroller may be useful. There is a small cafe on site with a nice view of the airport. The food is pretty good, but somewhat pricy (to be expected, I suppose). There is also a gift shop of course. Admission is normally $25 for adults, but there are typically several discounts available. It's definitely worth checking the museum's website for details. While that is on the expensive side for an air and space museum, I do feel it's worth it. Make sure to get a map, the exhibits are spread out a bit and you don't want to miss anything! Plan for several hours at least! You can also buy a discounted ticket for a return visit (within 7 days) if needed.

What a fantastic Aviation and Aerospace museum! Right on-par with the top-of-the-line massive Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center and the National Air and Space museum - both in DC. There is pretty much exhibits for anything in Aero, that picks your interest - beginnings of flight, WWI, WWII, turboprops, turbojets, turbofans, GE/PW/RR engines, commercial aviation, presidential jets, military jets, helicopters, spaceflight and rockets and not forgetting the one-of-3 Concordes available on display in the US. I could probably spend a week here! A must visit for air/space flight enthusiasts. Wish they had a larger collection of model airplanes in their store.

Incredible amount of history. There so much to learn is almost overwhelming. Talk to the guides! Not only do they have a wealth of information to share but they are really good at making it digestible and understandable, for all ages. Also the play area here is my kids favorite compared to other museums.

This is a great museum where you can learn about aviation, space and how the Pacific Northwest helped play a huge role in aviation. A lot of history, facts and interactive education. My 7yo and 5yo really enjoyed learning and exploring all The Museum of Flight had to offer. Our favorite part was getting to go inside of Air Force one and see what it’s like inside a past presidents airplane. If you’re members of KCLS (king country library system) you can get a free museums pass (for 4 people) for this museum every 90 days. As a homeschooling mom of 2 I really enjoy the amount of education found at this museum. Highly recommend a visit we spent at least 3.5 hours here and the place was practically empty on a weekday.

My family and I visited the Museum of Flight in late April (from San Diego). They offer Military/Veteran discount! We were excited about coming here but it can be overwhelming when walking through. There is a lot to see, read watch and even interact with. Luckily we were confronted by a man who asked us if we would like a tour- we agreed too it. So, the man went to find us a tour guide and within a couple minutes an older gentleman named Key came over to us. Key gave us the best tour! We enjoyed his wealth of knowledge and deep interest of time and space- he answered all our questions & we asked a ton of questions! We had so much fun here, thank you Key!

Amazing. Just amazing. I’d highly recommend this all aviation enthusiasts wanting to know or sit in the cockpits even. The prices are pretty much expected of Seattle which are $6-15 average but you still get a lot for your buck. Lots of cool planes hanging including the famed SR 71 blackbird.

Museum of flight is 100% worth your visit. Not only does it cover a good amount of space & aviation history, it is also quite entertaining for the younger generation. The staff are also extremely knowledgeable and kind to everyone. They have a wonderful collection of older aircrafts. Some of them are a bit more engaging. The control tower is a good site to be at if there’s an actual plane landing or taking off The 360 flight simulator is currently paid but I hope they make it free in the future

Being able to accompany my grandson to the Introduction to STEM program was a wonderful experience. The staff at the Museum were outstanding. From the moment you presented at registration, through the program, your child was educated and entertained with engaging information and activities involving robots.

We spent 2 hours there, and it was not enough time. Lots of planes to look at, some space stuff too. Only complaint not enough signs around to know where to go, and not much stuff for little kids throughout. Very neat!

Fascinating museum, and a must go for every aviation geek/pilot out there. The airplanes are in incredible condition, and I loved that there were sections devoted to different periods in history. Highly recommend.

If you are interested in aircraft this is one the best museums I have been to. Spent the whole day here and could easily have spent another. Walking through the Concorde and Air Force One were very interesting. Give your self plenty of time to do this museum justice. Everything from the Wright Flyer through the Blackbird to the Space Shuttle.

Went on a Sunday with visiting family expecting to spend 2-3 hours looking at a few cool planes, but after arriving just after opening we spent almost the entire day there! I feel like the space flight section and the World War 1 & w sections alone are worth the cost of admission and the history of every piece you see is lovingly curated and well explained, good enough for an amateur with little knowledge of the subject matter and total history buffs alike. If you're in the World War area I strongly recommend taking the time to listen to the radio broadcast features they have placed around, it really immerses you in the time period as you take in the very well maintained exhibits. Will definitely go back with interested friends and family.

We gave ourselves 4 hours, and we easily could have spent another 4 hours! There’s something for everyone, no matter how big or small your interest in aviation is. Lots of enthusiastic volunteers to answer any questions or queries. Plenty of washrooms and water fountains. Easily accessible by bus from the city centre.

Awesome place for those who get excited about airplanes. Has a small kids area for kids. I enjoyed the exhibits, especially the Vietnam Divided. The SR71 is awesome, there are other places too and a map is available. A food area exists for those hungry people, probably allot 2-3 hrs for a good tour of the museums.

It's a really cool place to not only see how flight has developed, but a very fun way to learn about history. If you keep your receipt you can go back the next day or so and the entrance will only cost you $10.

It is a great place to visit if you come to Seattle. You need to spend at least 2 hours to visit all. You will see the old presidential plane, Concorde, 747, 787 Dreamer, World War I, and II planes. There is a history of starting Boeing planes. You will see at the same time from the first plane to Apollo.

Loved the Museum of Flight! This place is something the whole family can enjoy. It was really interesting even if you aren't into planes. You can learn a lot! If we had more time, we would have sat through the video presentations. Without the presentations, we stayed for about 1.5 hours. Don't forget to go across the bridge to see everything! You'll be happy you did! 🙂

This remains one of the best museums in the Northwest! We've been members for decades and they are still producing great exhibits. They have plenty of commercial planes as well as a number of military planes. They do a good job of presenting WWI and WWII as well as the space program. There are a number of interactive exhibits as well. It also traces the history of Boeing. You can walk through a Concorde, Air Force One, a 747, and a 787 Dreamliner. Very cool!

When I was a kid we visited this museum and I loved it. I finally made it back 25 years later and loved it even more. Being a pilot gave me a 20% discount on admission when I showed them my license. That was a nice touch. My friends also stated it was a better experience having a pilot along they could ask questions of along the way.

  • 5/5 Ron D. 4 months ago on Google
You shouldn’t miss this place when you’re in Seattle. Our memorable moments in the museum are boarding the decommissioned SAM 970 (Air Force One) and standing under the fuselage of the astounding Lockheed M-21 Blackbird. Come here early so you can enjoy all the museum’s exhibits and create your own memories.

This is an underrated "must-visit place" in Seattle if you have kids and an aviation fan! This is one of the largest collections of airplanes in North America. The ticket rates are reasonable and parking is free. We spent almost 3 hours here and we felt our dollars were spent well in here. The kids live it so much!

I'm always going to do an aviation museum everywhere I travel. Always! Of course, I'm a pilot, blah, blah, blah. What set The Museum of Flight apart was the amazing way they brought ART and AVIATION together with their ART + FLIGHT exhibition. My second passion is art and I've never encountered such an offering. A pleasant surprise. So, back to planes! The staff there were plentiful and helpful. For me, a little too helpful as I like to walk, see, read and reflect in solitude but I appreciate their helpfulness and enthusiasm for aviation. The variety of planes is impressive the history of Boing was very interesting and they also have a WWI and WWII area. Parking is easy. I didn't eat there but they were plenty busy and it smelled good. I've never been to an aviation museum that I couldn't recommend so take my glowing review as one from an enthusiast.

Wonderful museum! I didn't realize how many of the materials were real and historical and not a replication. Many people in wheelchairs so it seemed very accessible. We spent 6 hours there and didn't even read everything! The gift shop was very cute and there were many opportunities for gifts. This is a great museum for anyone if any ages
