This place was magical. The first time I stayed it had this beautiful pool with gorgeous foliage, it made you feel like you were transported in to this tropical hide away. The glow from the pool was amazing from the bar in the lobby. The pool gave the entire property this amazing ambiance. The moisture would kiss your skin. Now they literally carpeted over the magical pool and terrarium. We were staying in the concierge suits over looking the terrarium but it was so depressing. We lost our luggage and had no toiletries, you would think the king suite would come with shampoo and conditioner, but no. In addition, the shower / bathroom is not private in the room, they have sheer glass separating the entire bathroom so if you want to do your business or shower with out your travel partner watching, it’s not possible. The fan in the bathroom was not working so that made things complicated as well. This is now just another hotel, save the money and stay elsewhere. The only thing that saved face during our stay was Emily at the front desk, she was excellent and needs a raise.

Car Vandalized, over $7000 in repairs, and zero response from Marriott regarding my extremely unpleasant experience. Unacceptable Stayed here in early December, and paid to park our car for a couple weeks while traveling as Marriott offers this convenience to their customers. We felt comfortable parking here in that the property has security cameras, and security personnel on site. We returned to find our catalytic converters cut from our car. We addressed the front desk manager and the security manager, and the response we received was, “there is nothing we can really do…this has been happening a lot.” Beyond shocked at this response. The hotel has been aware, and acknowledged that this has been happening with frequency, yet said nothing about this when they took our money for the parking fee. Still struggling to understand how this is deemed acceptable by the business operator and by Marriott. I guess the signs saying they’re not responsible for any issue, absolve them of doing the right things: taking the crime(s) seriously, treating their customers with respect by responding to their written (email) communications, and at the very least, refunding the fee parking fee. Do not stay at this property, as management clearly does not value their customers who give business to this hotel, and certainly do not park here for an extended period of time, as per Marriott security personnel , “this type of theft has been happening a lot”. Just for reference, we wrote hotel manager (requesting a refund for the parking fee), we filed a report with Marriott security, and filed an independent police report with the King County Sheriff. Zero response from any of the above entities. I expected more from a trusted international brand like Marriott, who I’ve been a loyal customer of for decades. Extremely disappointing You have many choices…find another hotel.

Had a great experience at this hotel! I was stressed and frustrated with canceled flights needing to find a last minute bed to sleep in and I’m so happy I chose this hotel! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy while also giving me the “wow” factor with its architecture and fake outside design (you’ll see what I mean). Would definitely recommend this hotel, especially with it’s proximity to the airport. The staff was lovely, especially Lawrence at the front desk who was just the breath of kindness and warmth I needed! He was very helpful as well :). Definitely plan on returning.

So I have stayed here twice. It has a great airport shuttle. However, a lot of the services the hotel would normally give is not really being performed because of Covid. The rooms do have these weird sliding doors on the bathroom that do not lock. I know this is a decent hotel but safety is still important. We got double beds room for both of our stays. The rooms were clean. Not too bad but I gave it a four star because both times we had a few rude people at the front desk. Also parking is expensive but we got good rates both times so we really did mind paying for it.

Beautiful hotel, very well maintained, and a great staff. I have stayed a few times and although it is a bit expensive, it is certainly worth it considering the convenience and location. Shuttles run to the airport every 15 minutes or so and that was awesome. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This is definitely going to become a regular spot for me whenever I’m in the area. I felt right at home here. The staff I met during my time here last month were fantastic. I forgot to get the names of the two gentlemen who helped me check in at the front desk but one had almost shoulder length dark hair and the other had blonde hair in a low ponytail (I think he was probably in training). They were very friendly and welcoming. I must also rave about Rogelio at the restaurant bar. He is an absolute gem of a human being and a true professional of the service industry. I wish nothing but the best for him and hope his value is recognized by management. I don’t want to go into details but I was in awe of how he went above and beyond to help my friend! The rooms are nice (although the see-through shower wall was a bit awkward), the building is beautiful/cozy/spacious and I enjoyed wandering around lol. The concierge lounge was a pleasant surprise with delicious breakfast. The only disappointment was finding out they’ve gotten rid of the pool! It’s so heavily advertised in the top pictures online, I would definitely update those. One more thing I didn’t like is they charged my card upon check-in for more than the total amount of my entire stay (which was almost doubled because I received a heavily discounted affiliation rate). It was a full-price hold I guess. They adjusted it after I checked out but would’ve been preferable if it were the right amount from the beginning. 🤷🏼‍♀️ All in all I had a great stay. Thank you to everyone at S.A.M! ☺️🙏🏻

Great airport hotel - very comfortable room and bed. Shuttle was great, every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. I stayed twice (beginning and end of a trip) - and saw some differences. Reception was weak one time (employee was barely alive) and was great the other time. I am Marriott Platinum and was upgraded to the club access, the one time it was closed for some reason so I received full breakfast for two in the restaurant which was great (omelet station, selection of food, service). The other time I went to the club for breakfast - was ok at best, limited food selection, club is not "comfy", no arm chairs or couches, not a place you would hang out for a few hours to kill time. The selection of soda and water was nice to take to your room. Shuttle drivers are very helpful with luggage. Note - I did not explore the local area and there was no event going on in the open area while I was there.

IF I COULD TURN BACK TIME. Staying here, I can here Cher singing. The hotel that time forgot. This is convenient, only if you need access to the airport and back. The shuttle leaves every 15 minutes so timing is not much of an issue. The exterior is old and tired. The interior seems older and more tired. The fitness club, if your looking, is smack dab in the middle of the interior football field sized area that you could easily place another hotel. The restaurant is severally overpriced but that bar is POPPING. It is always packed and loud. Now to the important stuff, The boom boom in your room room. These are actually 5 stars in my opinion. Clean, modernized and spacious. The showers are great and the mattress comfy.

I've stayed here several times. It's my go-to for early SeaTac flights. Checkin is always friendly, usually pretty quick and the rooms are clean. I appreciate the bar staying open late and the food is always fantastic. Breakfast opens at 6 which is convenient. The buffet is decent, the egg guy always good.

Nice place. Great location. Not sure why the lounge was closed on Black Friday. Mattress was a little too firm for our liking but overall, a nice stay.

Very nice ambiance. The best feature was the location next to the airport. The drinks at the hotel bar were definitely watered down. 5 martinis with zero buzz is a problem and at NYC prices. Food was great but completely overpriced. I only had one meal in context.

We had an overnight layover at SEA, so we stayed here given the close proximity to the airport. The free shuttle took minutes to get to and from the airport. The rooms are recently remodeled, clean, and comfortable. The Executive Lounge wasn't bad as well. We would stay here again.

Good place to stay. A shuttle is available every 15 minutes.I noticed that during certain times of the day, two of them are running. I took a flight early in the morning, and they told me it is available all day every 15 minutes. The room was great, and I slept well. A full restaurant and a bar are available. Also, it is a small souvenir store with a Starbucks shop in it. I liked their sitting area. Gym is available too.

The staff is professional and friendly. The room finishes were updated and modern. Everything was awesome except for the pillows. My feather pillows were extremely lumpy. I was able to break the clumps apart with my fingers. Some of the clumps we're about the size of golf balls. I would have asked for different pillows but it was in the middle of the night and I just wanted to get back to sleep. Bottom line, check your pillows when you check into your room.

I had messed up reservations on points with a different hotel and we were in a panic. It was so good, therefore, to be able to log into the Marriott Bonvoy app and get a reservation so easily at the Airport Marriott. However, I even messed up that, reserving two rooms for one adult each as opposed to one room for two adults, which is what I meant to reserve. The staff member checking us in immediately saw what had happened and corrected the situation. I could not have been more grateful. The room was clean and comfortable and the food, in Aqua Terra, was well prepared and healthy. Shuttle to the airport, in the morning, was also helpful. Everyone, it seemed, was trying their utmost to make every part of the experience pleasant.

It’s alright! But the rooms are outdated and so overpriced! But had to stay here because of flight cancellations and delays. There were flies in our room too off and on. I had to swat them with my shoe. It was a decent stay but I’ve stayed at better and more up to date Marriott hotels for less all over the world. I lived and traveled to numerous places (served in the military for 22 years), I can tell the difference. The waiters, waitresses and housekeepers were understaffed at this hotel. But they worked hard and took care of us! Joan was great and provided excellent customer service. Housekeeping was great too, they went above and beyond! Overall, there are other better hotels to stay in the area where it’s cheaper. Rate for hotel- 1 (too expensive), services-4(Good), Rooms-3.

A decent hotel, hit not a good option for families with kids! Rooms were fine, location is great. But the service could use significant improvement. We were out into the hotel by our airline when the flight was cancelled. At check-in the front desk said that unfortunately breakfast wasn't included, but we could buy for $25 per person, but the three kids, all under 10, would be free. When we went down for breakfast that was no longer the case, and they demanded we'd need to pay $25 each, including for the four-year-old. No kids prices, no kids menu. Not a hotel suited to families. I'm currently a Marriott Gold member, have been Platinum in the past, and was frankly shocked by the lack flexibility.

My room was GREAT! Newly renovated (room 459) with NO carpet!!! The bed & pillows were extremely comfortable! Shower pressure was lacking. We wanted to have dinner in the restaurant inside the hotel but it was SO hot in there we left. It was nearly ninety degrees outside & it felt like the AC was off. Shuttle to the airport is quick & very convenient. I would stay here again if traveling from SeaTac

Overall stay was good, clean , comfy rooms. However, with a long day of travel my SO and I were very hungry. This is why I am giving two stars. The food was horrible. The spinach pasta was put in a sauce that was more like a soup. It was very poor tasting. My Marriott burger bun was rock hard and was like a hockey puck and overall was quite tasteless. For the prices we paid i would have been better off going to a McDonald's for much cheaper and better tasting food. If you come in from a long day of travel and want to stay here make sure to look elsewhere for food.

Elite Marriott member who spends 100+ nights a year as a business and leisure traveler. The property and staff were all top notch. 5/5 recommend. The staff and location really sets this property apart! I specifically want to mention the staff responding to Marriott app chat were exceptionally accommodating and responsive. Also Roger Peterson for kindly assisting us. Thank you! We visited during an early September weekend. Early Checkin was a breeze, and staff happily brought us more toiletries, extra towels, etc. Clean, spacious room with an excellent bed. Excellent location in close proximity to the airport, food and drink. We will see you again!

We stayed here in order to be close to the airport for an early morning flight (7a). The room was fine--nothing special. The bed was comfortable. The main draw was that we were able to return our rental car the night before, get to the hotel in a reasonable time, get to sleep, and catch the shuttle to the airport in the morning. All of that went well except that we just missed the shuttle to the airport when we came outside. We waited another 20 minutes or so for the driver to return. By that time the shuttle was full to bursting, I'm not sure if everyone waiting got on. I'm glad we were running ahead of schedule and the 20 minutes didn't impact our trip.

Fantastic! We went to four other dirty hotels nearby before we ended up here at a cheaper rate; with superior service, and the cleanest room in town! The Marriott does it right. We were overly thankful to find this level of service, hospitality, And cleanliness in one package’ next Time we come to town we will book here automatically and will tell all our family and friends in town to tell their guests to do likewise. We’re so happy the Marriott saved our trip’

When our flight was canceled last minute, and all other flights were booked, the airline put us up at this hotel for 3 nights. We were very pleased with the whole experience, and the hotel staff were kind and accommodating to us. Very beautiful and spacious room , lobby, and inner covered courtyard with live plants, a fountain, workout room, and outdoor furniture placed in groups made it feel like being outside but you're still under the high glass roof. Would highly recommend.

So this has to be the nicest Marriott I have ever stayed in! Clean, up to date, the shower actually had pressure! Only minor complaint was not enough light in the room. Highly recommend this hotel for a great stay. Oh yeah, waiter at the bar was hustling!! He was so busy, but drinks and food were coming out within a reasonable time frame. That guy either needs some assistance or a raise, he was jobbing!

I stay here at least once a month for work- very convenient. Shuttle runs 24/7, every 15 minutes to/from airport. The rooms are clean and the restaurant/bar is good. The staff has been amazing. My last stay two weeks ago I forgot my husband's anniversary gift in the room and they found it, and mailed it to me- very kind and greatly appreciated!

  • 5/5 Jesse 2 years ago on Google
Experience was great. Valet and guest services was awesome they were happy to being the luggage cart to our room. The shuttle runs 24/7 every 15 minutes on the hour. The shuttle driver was very friendly and helpful. Traveling with a large family is sometimes difficult, staying at the Seattle Airport Marriott makes the travel more enjoyable and atress free. The rooms were very nice and clean the beds and pillows were comfortable.
