Very clean and well maintained rooms. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Late night food and drink options were good and the breakfast was great! Shuttle to the airport to pick up the rental car was right on time and the driver very personable.

Surprisingly good value for the money. Newer hotel with basic but colorful decor. No frills but it has everything you'd want in a hotel and we found it to be very clean. The staff was helpful. The free breakfast is basic with decent bagels, oatmeal, juice, eggs, and a pretty cool pancake making machine. The breakfast was simple and actually better than most hotels, score one for keeping it simple and easy. First time at a Tru by Hilton and I would try it again.

This is a solid hotel for the price. It's nice and new. We stayed here during a massive cold snap complete with ice. Overall I would stay here again-- I think it's good value for what you pay. Pros: There is a nice big parking lot that you don't have to pay for. Rooms are clean, bright, spacious and good value for the cost. Location proximity to the airport as well as the big mall nearby was perfect. Cons: The rooms are really loud. Not much sound mm muffling. If you are remotely a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend this hotel. This may be an anomaly since we stayed during a major winter storm but the heater in the room took a couple of hours to get the room warm.

Fantastic modern hotel. Spent 2 weeks staying here for work and despite the long stay was quite comfortable. Rooms are fresh and modern and beds are most importantly comfortable. Location is close to everything with the Southcenter mall only a 10-15 minute walk away leaving plenty of dining options available.

I arrived to the Washington area while on business and had a wonderful experience here about 3 weeks ago. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and accommodated me with everything they could, except when it was something that required a Manager. I was constantly given the run around and told that the Manager would come but never did. I would not bring this up if the issue weren't severe, but having unavailable management and rude staff like Lupe at concierge will cause this hotel to suffer in the long run. Also, who is responsible for the repairs? Because I had to get a random staff member (thank you for saving my night) that I found in the hall to fix my lights because they told me that there was no maintenance crew. The owner of this specific hotel needs to look into their management team this is a BIG issue.

If you miss being in a college dorm room or hostel, this is the place for you. Otherwise, there are lots of better options nearby. Bare-bones rooms with zero amenities: no dresser or closet, no place to sit other than an uncomfortable desk chair, no coffee maker or microwave. Tiny mini-fridge froze our food. Air conditioner is controlled in some mysterious way that we never figured out. Weird soap/shampoo/etc. dispensers that require both hands to operate (fun with arthritis!) and dispense random amounts of product. The rooms are clean, so that's the only plus I can come up with. Staff is rude and obviously inexperienced. (Is it really that much of an imposition to replenish the breakfast items?) Microwave in the lobby is filthy. Ice machines on floors 2 and 4, but you have to go to the first floor to get containers (where the ice machine is empty). So much street noise! Will never stay at a Tru again, plenty of other options at that price.

My family stayed here for one night before leaving on an Alaska cruise out of the Seattle port. We had 2 rooms and were accommodated on the same floor. The room was clean and comfortable and I really liked the esthetic of the place. The location was great, tooā€¦conveniently located next to shopping and restaurants, which we took advantage of. Our family also used the workout room that had nice equipment. The breakfast in the morning was satisfactory. There were some warm itemsā€¦scrambled eggs, bacon, small pancakes and toast/bagels. I would definitely stay here again, if in the area.

We are traveling with friends and I found the rooms nice, clean and functional. The service was outstanding! A special shout out to Lupe. She was great and she went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and then some. She needs a raise. The breakfast was okay but some of the hot food was cold but overall the choices were good. I'd stay here again in the future and if you are ever in the area, give them a try. I think you won't be disappointed.

Honestly, this was probably my least favorite hotel Iā€™ve stayed at in the last few months, the front desk staff while carrying on with somewhat professional courtesy, still lacked authentic friendliness and empathy. The rooms were extremely small and typically trip and fall on your suitcases. The atmosphere outside is much like a college dorm and thereā€™s always people standing around the door smoking. Not a bad place but if youā€™re over the age of 25, you might want to reconsider šŸ˜‚

Iā€™m glad we booked a stay at this Tru. We flew in late, and this hotel was convenient and easy to get to from the airport. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were incredibly soft. We slept great! The room was spacious. Furniture was minimal, but that was fine for a one night stay. The bathroom had a shower only, no tub, and toiletries that you squeeze from tubes that are mounted to the walls. The service was friendly, but it would have been nice to have been given bottled water as a Hilton Diamond member. Parking was free, which was great. The location is conveniently located to many shops and restaurants.

This is one of the better two-star hotels I've stayed at in the Tukwila area. The lobby and room were very clean, and all amenities were well-maintained. I was extra impressed by the pool table available for use in the lobby area and the snack bar that also sold bottles of wine! The hotel also seems to be a solidly-built hotel. Even though many people were staying in the hotel (we could tell by the number of cars in the parking lot), we didn't hear anything like people walking in the hallways, or kids running upstairs, or loud TVs in other rooms on our floor whenever we were in our room. We'll definitely be staying here again when we're in town!

I've always liked Tru Hotels, but not this one. The location was great, and of course, the amenities available to you. But this is the only hotel hilton i have seen with front staff always on the phone. Surroundings are dirty, on her cell phone. Husband needed something, and it took her a moment to realize he was even there because she got 2 earbuds on. We stayed for 3 nights, and the whole time, nobody cleaned the coffee spill on the elevator. Our bathroom had a broken door handle, and the floor makes a weird sound every time you move. This place needs new management. The only person i saw who was there to work was the gentleman who checked us in.

The hotel looks still new and refreshing! It is clean and nice! The tv was a problem for me after checking in. The system they have is not user friendly at all. I tried to get a channel pulled up but was not successful at all. I called down to the front desk after trying myself and they told me to unplug it and let it be unplugged for about 15 to 30 seconds. I did what they said to do and still had a problem. I did get it to get a channel but the tv view of it was the size of my phone. When I checked out I said something again but they said if I was still staying they would go up to my room and reset it for me. I wasnā€™t staying any longer but 1 night. They said they were sorry but kinda didnā€™t matter! Now, if you put in breakfast for your filters for a hotel, I would not use this for this hotel. Their breakfast was just okay. Itā€™s just a very basic one. The bacon they had was very greasy and still covered in grease when I put it on my plate. I probably would pick another hotel when I stay in this area again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Tru by Hilton Tukwila. I was so happy that Tru by Hilton Tukwila provided a complimentary shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The shuttle service was so convenient. Since the shuttle picked me up at the airport, I did not have to rent a car. The hotel lobby was fun and inviting. I was happy to see the pool table and various cozy sitting areas. The check-in was quick and easy. Staff were very approachable, very friendly, and very resourceful. They provided a list of restaurants and transportation options. They were very attentive throughout my stay, and I really appreciate it. My room on the fifth floor was clean, simple, and bright. The view from my room was nice. The bed was very comfortable with soft sheets and fluffy light pillows. The showers felt great. The complimentary breakfast was very good. There were eggs, sausage, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, and my favorite, pancakes! The pancake making machine was fascinatingā€¦ Overall, the Tru by Hilton Tukwila is a great hotel with friendly staff and thoughtful amenities. Customer service is stellar, and accommodations are reassuring. I enjoyed a restful stay that made me happy and thankful.

The customer service was probably the best I've seen in a while. I can't remember the guy name that checked me in, but he was really down to Earth and made sure I felt welcomed. I recommend trying this hotel out. The location you can't change, obviously, but I did hear traffic noise at night, but the views were awesome.

The whole experience is very bad. I was transferred to this Tru hotel from Home2suites due to oversold there. When I had a long day from Mt Rainier and when I checked it was after 9pm. The front desk lady didnā€™t know how to handle such situation and we had to wait for her more experienced colleague to come back. It took almost an hour before I got my room. My neighbors next door are a group of teenagers who yelled, slammed doors and ran in the hallway until midnight. In the morning, I went to breakfast at 9:30am (which ended at 10am), and thereā€™s not much food left. I wanted to make a pancake but the machine was out of dough. A gentleman who knew how to use the automatic machine asked the front desk lady to refill the machine and she said someone is coming to help. We waited for twenty minutes but nobody came. And it was around 10am, a women came out from the back and I asked her if sheā€™s going to fix the machine. She said and I quote ā€œI am not going to refill the pancakesā€. I feel the staff at this hotel have zero hospitality and lack of proper training. Even itā€™s free I wonā€™t stay here again.

I like this hotel. It's simple, calm, quiet and meets my needs. Room is very small, but it's clean, bed is comfy, AC/heat works perfectly, plumbing works, lots of hot water, good shower, lots of shampoo/ conditioner/ soap. Very friendly front desk staff. Good, free breakfast. Free parking. My only suggestion would be the lobby needs more electrical outlets; you can't really work comfortably there if anything needs a charge.

Our stay was comfortable, convenient, clean, and didnā€™t cost and arm and a leg. I forgot my toothbrush and they were able to provide me with a spare. I also utilized the shuttle service to the airport. Breakfast was hot and replenished frequently. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is playing a bait and switch on diamond members. Late check out is offered but at a fee of $50+ per hour. I have never experienced this in my 5+ years as a diamond member. In future Iā€™ll stay at the Hyatt down the street instead. Similar pricing, way nicer hotel, and far superior service.

Very close to being 5 stars but I feel that for the price the rooms are small especially for 250$ + a night. The room was very clean and I was surprised at how comfortable the bed was. Overall I was impressed with how fast and friendly the staff was, I was checked in and had my room key in like 2 minutes. The main reason I liked my stay was that there is plenty of parking and it's free. I felt very safe leaving my car overnight unlike many other Seattle area hotels and I could see my car from my room window. Free coffee and breakfast also a plus. Definitely would stay here again!

My main complaint about all hotels is the bed and the pillows. They both tend to be very soft. I prefer a medium firm mattress. I also tend to bring my own pillow from home. Another greiveance I have with most hotels is that their parking lot wraps around the building and then you to pay to park. It's a double whammy! Tru by Hilton in Tukwila has great parking. You do not pay and it's right there straight out the door. The bed was not a medium firm but I was able to sleep through the night. The pillows like all hotel pillows are too soft. I would stay here again should the need arise.

Very clean and safe area. The rooms are minimal modern style, everything was clean and comfortable. Quiet suburb vibe area, big mall with plenty of places to eat. My mom took the shuttle to the airport at 7am with no problems.

Clean, Comfortable and a very helpful staff. We ended up staying two nights due to the ice storm that hit Seattle. Sarah and the rest of the staff could not have been any more helpful with extending our stay and getting us via shuttle to the places we needed to go. Everyone here always had a smile and a helpful disposition. We will be back for the clean updated rooms and the staff that cares about your stay.

First time staying at a Tru location and really enjoyed it. Bright clean rooms, and a very decent size, big bathroom. Loved the large eco containers that had shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and even body lotion! Amazing breakfast, loved the pancake machine, and finally eggs that had peppers and cheese (many hotel have terrible boring eggs).

I love this place! They have an airport shuttle, an amazing GM and front desk staff. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I like that I can see my car through the big window of my hotel room. The have a nice gym too. They keep it really safe here , at all times , and at night you have to use a hotel room key to get in through the front doors sometime past 9:00PM. There is someone at the lobby 24/7. Their breakfast spread is very healthy. They do not have a pool or spa, but a pool table, or just watch TV shows jn the lobby, or seat down in their l various seating areas. If you like chic you will love it here. If you need a full kitchen this is not the place , but you can always count on getting a microwave, if available, for long term stays, a mini fridge is I believe standard, and my room has one. If you are staying for a long while, like myself, you will want to be creative and figure something out for closet space, which is small, no dresser. It looks new. They enforce rules which keeps everyone enjoying it here. I travel a lot for my job, and usually will have trouble falling asleep easily, here I sleep really well because they have quiet times, and I feel secure. The place is well maintained and the open free parking lot super well lit. If you are counting on doing your laundry, there is only one washer and dryer, as of last night the washer is working and the dryer is not and neither is the soap machine. Other than that this is a fabulous place, and well priced too.

Room was just ok compared to other Hilton properties. Didn't like the smaller desk, lack of closet, and laminate vs. carpeted floor. You could tell the hotel wanted to be trendy, but changes may not necessarily be for the better.

After traveling over 5,000 miles been greeted so warmly by Dee and having a nice friendly chat was just what my wife and I needed after such a journey. We have stayed all over Seattle and beyond but we absolutely loved the hospitality, location, cleanliness of the room and hotel. Thanks again Dee for the warm welcome home.

This hotel is just nice and great it's the perfect ambiance, the room is ok no closet or microwave or safe. They do have microwave but at the front desk, nice fitness room and the lobby is really cozy and billiards šŸŽ± was fun playing with my boys. The staff is super nice the people in the morning breakfast nice and friendly as well. The most thing i love about hilton having my own key as my phone i don't even have to get a key at the front desk. Well technically i have to get one due to the room require a key to power the lights.if you have not stay in this type of hotel you will figure it out. I highly recommend this to anyone. I have not ask if they do let you rent a microwave so that one is in the air.

Unfriendly staff, we arrived at 6pm and he told us we need to wait for an uncertain time until someone arrived because there was a problem with the room! Really at 6pm they decided to fix a problem! We asked if we could have another room and the first answer was: no, we are full! We waited a little bit then we asked again! And since the guy hadnā€™t arrive, he decided to give us another room!!! The check in time is at 3pmā€¦the room was supposed to be ready at that hour! Also, being a silver member of Hilton we always have free waters at any hotel! So once he didnā€™t offer it, we asked but apparently this hotel decided a different policy from Hilton rewards and just give waters to gold and platinum members!

Stayed for 2 nights prior to our early flight out from Seattle airport. We rented a car so the property was just 10 mins away from airport. Location is great as it is at South Center with plenty of food and shopping options. The property is new and looks very bright and cheerful. They have tables and chairs at the lobby for catching up on work or chilling with your travel party. Breakfast is complimentary and the selection is adequate for a quick bite before heading out for the day. We had the even number room so we could catch flights taking off from our room window. I believe the odd number rooms could catch a glimpse of the magnificent Mt Rainer. Will definitely consider this property in future.

First time staying here and will be our new go to hotel. We were greeted by Dee . He was so friendly and helpful, more so than any other hotel front desk staff I have had before . He overheard us talking about forgetting a toothbrush and he went and grabbed some for us . Super customer service . Our room was extremely clean and modern. Great beds and had a mini fridge . I love the shampoo and bathroom products and that they use dispensers instead of wasting all those tiny bottles that never have enough product in them. The hotel is in a super quiet area and minutes from the mall, target, and tons of restaurants. Awesome stay, great staff, will come back again .
