Very nice beach , not so crowdy because it’s little bit far from city centre but you can take a bus 19 (1,5€ per person) and 10 minutes walk .. there is a few cute beach bars with shade because the beach doesn't have it. You can also rent a beach chair and sun umbrella (7€ each). You can find a showers in street behind the beach.

Beautiful place to have a walk, very lovely beach, very clean, safe and water was very lovely. Great place to spend the day with family and friends. Great place for kids and to walk your dog. I definitely recommend stop by if you’re in Valencia.

Beautiful sandy beach, clean and plenty of facilities such as public toilets and shower. Sea has gentle gradient so good for kids. As it is such a big stretch of sandy beach and is also quite wide, it doesn't get too crowded. Volleyball nets and football goals available too. Bars and restaurants are plentiful. Water sports available towards for side. Great jogging route too. Accessible via bus or plenty of parking if driving. Mainly full of locals which was a nice change from some of the touristy beaches we have been too in the past. Buzzing at night time with locals enjoying picnics, playing Volleyball and dancing.

This beach has less establishments nearby like bars, restaurants, souvenirs shops comparing with two other beaches (Malvarrosa and las Arenas), but has many sport activity facilities there like bolleyball playground, etc. There are also beach bars in the sand area, where drinks are offered. Mobility between the other 3 beaches is very easy, one can get from one to another within 10-15 minutes just by going through sand or concrete paths.

feels like BorBora or likewise. Beautiful, warm water, clean water but spread between poor and rich is enormously- colored dudes try to advise you where to park and scam you right away (break into car, etc). At the beach, in the event you find a slot to park on a visible area, you are save until 7pm, because afterwards they crack cars. At the beach it is amazingly beautiful, clean, less noise and a lot of space. However, even with strong police presence you feel the italian/france led underground mentality allover. Paella is great, take the lobster 🦞 version! Prices are so ridiculously low for tourists but locals cannot afford anything as there are almost no fair paid positions available. In a suburb not 2km away I saw pregnant lady carries water from public source to her r - means no standards around. On the other hand the city is beautiful, the expo area is magnificent and the football ⚽️ stadium

Patacona Beach is actually part of Alboraya the first town north of Valencia. That said it is connected directly via the promenade that starts way down by Valencia harbor and continues north along Malva Rosa beach. Patacona has everything you need from diverse restaurants to surfing school to bike rentals etc. in summer this area is hit and quite humid but with steady breezes. In winter it is quiet with lots of sunshine and mild temps in the 60-70F range. There are many AirBnB properties in the buildings along the front line avenue that are quite reasonable in the winter months. Lots of European snowbirds around. Be mindful of the first week of January since Epiphany (Reyes Magos) is a very popular long weekend as Spaniards wrap up the Christmas season.

One of the best places of the city Valencia. The sand is cleaned every day between 6 and 7 am the same as all town. Popular location between surfers, the surfing club is located near there. The beach contains several coffee shops and Consum supermarket in 15-20 minutes by walk.

Very clean with all facilities close to the waters edge. Unlike the Valencia city beaches. Nice beach bars alongside the sun beds and parasols. Get bus 31 from city centre.

Not as expected, but it’s good for a short relaxing swim in the sea. There are few restaurants and beach bars

Patacona is the cutest little beach town at the end of Malva Rosa. I took off one star because it is so tiny and the surrounding area is not lovely... There are about 5 restaurants here that are sooo adorable!! The girafe, Las Mas bonitas, Cocoa, Banana Beach and more. The staff are friendly. On the weekends, a few little tents pop up with knick knacks like books, jewlery, knitted goods and a few other things. The beach during the summer has really cute pop up retsaurants on it and there is a SUP and surf rental company that gives lessons and classes. The beach is topless but bottoms are required. A lot of people come here to chill, play volleyball on the beach or swim. The ocean is warm during the summer and starts to cool down in September. The beach is clean for the most part. There are occasional cigarette butts and these tiny spiders. No one will bother you at the beach except these people selling blankets and massages but overall its really safe. There is a bus stop conveniently located right next to Patacona so there is easy access both in and out of this area. There are also a lot of cabs available. It is about an hour bus ride from the city of Valencia and a 25 minute car ride. There are a few buses that will take you straight into the city without having to stop (31 for example). The beach next door (Malva Rosa) is more crowded and filled with younger people. Patacona is more relaxed, has a lot of tourists from the UK, locals and in general an older crowd. I highly recommend this beach if you are looking for a nicer beach in Valencia.

Clean, wide and beautiful. good restaurants along side the shore. Could use some restrooms though, specially for such a big extension of sand.

Wide beach with many places for sunbathing. Boulevard is often very crowdy. It's hard to find toilet and also hard to find parking there. Usually there are many gorillas there as well. The advantage is that water is rather shallow so it may be comfortable for kids.

I was disappointed by the beach. The water was dirty with sand and algae, and it makes it very hard to enjoy it. We inquired with a local that stated it's not always like that, but during the month of August we did not see clean water once. Maybe it's the time of year.

Amazing tropical city beach vibe. Must go beach places and good terrace options. Many playgrounds on the beach.

In my opinion, this is the best beach in Valencia. Not too crowded, really clean and silent (if you choose the right time). I've seen some people just coming here to drink some wine and sleep on the sand.

Better than Malvarrosa in the sense that is not so overcrowded, also there are some good chiringuitos for food and drinks.

Great section of beach. Much better with less people than Malvarossa. If you insist on a city side beach. This one is the one to go to

We absolutely loved it, we loved the area, plenty of parking spaces and it's perfect for families. Except that there weren't any showers.

It's free, it's huge and well connected. Other than that I didn't find nothing special about it.

Very nice beach. However in August sea wasn't very clean. I don't know whether we were just unlucky or it's how it usually looks like there

Very large beach with a lot of people. Could use more trash receptacles and something to sift tiny pieces of trash from the sand.

👍👍 What a nice Beach. You have a lot of space for yourself and can enjoy a beautiful day on the beach. The waves are not too high and the water has a good temperature. It is worth to go a few steps to have a quiet spot here.
