Gorgeous holy paintings on the ceilings! This is probably my most favourite place in Valencia, since it’s free entry but also the inside is so precious. There are seats inside so if you’d like to sit or pray, there is space for everyone.

This is a quaint beautiful Church in the main Plaza in Valencia. It is smaller than most places, it remians very peaceful inside. Being Catholic, I value my time in Churches when travelling. It is important for me to be able to pray peacefully, even if there are people who come just to see the place. There is a small shop on the way out to get a small remembrance or in my case a gift for my Mom. Some construction going on so be mindful of that when entering.

Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados stands on Virgen Square near the apse of Valencia Cathedral. The two temples are connected by a covered gallery. The pearl of the temple collection is the painting of the dome vault. It was completed in the 18th century by the theoretician painter Antonio Palomino. The ceiling lamp depicts a bright vault of heaven.

It's so beautiful and majesty with the great history and in honour of the symbol of Valencia protectress Sant Virgin. The architecture, style is high noteworthy for fans. It is all about the plung in medieval. But contemporary locals respect this place as well and annually organisation of Virgin ceremonial get-up takes place here.

A majestic place to walk in and soak in the architecture and religion. The ceiling is truly a work of art and worth your time (it is free entry).

Beautiful, but it could use better sitting, more traditional, instead of plain chairs starting on the second row. It kills a little the sanctity of the church.

This Basilica is dedicated to the patrient Saint of Valencia. The actual Basilica from the outside looks like a normal Building. Once inside it's not that big but stunning ceiling paintings and carved marble structures are breathtaking. The Valencian people really hold this church dear to their hearts.

Must see, and read the story about the development of this veneration, based on true love and charity. Truly incredible. The basilica itself is a master piece.
