What a gem! I had the pleasure to stay in their best room, La Xerea, which was stunningly beautiful with original crown moldings, floor tiles and high ceiling from 1870. The room is well furnished and a little portable heater was provided during an especially cold time in Valencia. The bathroom is spacious with plenty of counter space. The b&b is beautifully decorated and the staff is very helpful. The building can be accessed by code at the door and also has a lift which is very convenient. I did not have the breakfast there but found a lovely bakery next door, Levaduramadre, which made fantastic croissants and pastries and coffee a few blocks away at GOAT was the best I've had in all of Europe.

This is a small floor of six rental rooms with a central area where you may preorder breakfast and also find books and guides. Check in was simple and has both business hours and after hours check in. The after hours was easy with codes provided for all door access. During business hours you may find your host, Africa, at the desk and she is extremely helpful and has excellent English language mastery. She recommended our fabulous visit to the Central Market and the Central Bar inside the market. We had only a couple of nights here but found the place so centrally located and pleasant that we would definitely return. The room was outfitted well and the bed and quiet were perfect. Some minor maintenance on the shower was needed but, overall, excellent experience.

This boutique hotel is nothing short of exceptional. Situated right in the heart of the city center, it is a small hotel/B&B with 6 rooms. They are spotless, roomy (truly spacious), sophisticated, and stylish. The hostess, Africa, is a charming and friendly person who speaks excellent English and provided us with helpful suggestions and information. She even treated us to coffee and croissants in the morning and accommodated us with a late checkout since our flight was later. We regret not being able to stay longer, but we will definitely book a room here when we visit Valencia again. I highly recommend this hotel, you won't be disappointed!

L’Esplai is the perfect accomodation in Valencia. The location is ideal to visit everything in the center by foot, the streets look amazing. We stayed in room 201, El Carme, it was so spacious and clean, we absolutely loved it. The staff was extremely friendly, we enjoyed the map tour Sergio gave us and the long chats with Africa. The breakfast was also tasty. In conclusion, if we come back to Valencia we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, clean rooms and good price. Maybe the choice for breakfast was not super but due to the price & kind of place can't complain. My special thanks to Sergio, very helpful and kind guy. Plus he speaks Italiano! See you!!!

Great place only a heartbeat away from plaza de la Reina. We had room el carmen (no 1) and it is spacious with a small balcony. Bed is great and the bathroom is also quite big. We would definitely recommend this place when citytripping Valencia!

Excellent central location, in the midst of activities. Very easy to reach from the airport, and was sent excellent directions and instructions by the B&B. Africa was extremely helpful in all possible ways, including organising very nice and varied authentic Spanish breakfast for us every day. All sites of interest was easily reachable, most within walking distance. Location close to lots of nice cafes and historical and other places of interest. Will definitely recommend to all friends.

L'Esplai is a small beautiful B&B centrally located in Valencia with some really beautiful and spacious rooms. It was easy to find through google maps and have a lift access to reach the apartment. We reached Valencia after the specified checkin time, and the host was generous enough to do the checkin process beforehand and shared the steps to access the B&B and room well in time before our arrival. The location of the B&B is perfect, you can easily explore the old town by foot and there are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and you can find a branch of the Daniel cafe famous for the horchata drink right in front of the apartment ;) There were only 2 small point we had a little discomfort, firstly there was no cold water in the shower (it was a struggle for someone like me who likes to take shower at room temp water) and second there were no toilet papers when we arrived but thankfully the cleaning lady was there and provided us with the same. Overall it was a great experience and will highly recommend this place.

Clean, comfortable, central, with superb service! I highly recommend this place. The room is big, very comfortable, super clean and looks great (see my pictures). The team is providing exceptional service and very helpful. It is located at the heart of the old city, in a walking distance to most tourist attractions, yet the room is very quiet. In my next visit to Valencia I know already where I am going to stay :)

Thanks so much for the days we spent Africa. The room was perfect, so huge with a balcony, clean and so well decorated ! The common areas are so comfortable and warm that we would like to stay all day long. The COVID-19 measures were well prepared and applied in 100% safety. The host by Africa is so friendly. Cozy B&B in an excellent location near the city center. We really enjoyed our stay: our room was spacious and bright. It had a balcony overlooking the avenue while being noise free. The staff was super friendly and helpful. It was a really good value for money. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful rooms. Clean. Spacious. Wonderful host- we were welcomed and provided with all the information we needed. Nothing was too much trouble. And the breakfast was lovely.

The people here are super nice and sweet. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, and well taken care of. They gave us a map of the city and showed us the best way to see all the things we wanted to. Definitely made our trip amazing.
