Broad sandy beach, with a couple of a beach bars that open in the summer season. There is a nasty sewage pipe at the end of the beach and it smells a bit funny. You don't want to place your towel there. The bike lane doesn't actually reach there by the promenade. It's mostly less crowded than La Malvarrosa.

Not as well kept as Malvarrosa beach, probably because they don't have as much funds as Valencia, on the plus side they do have beach bars on the beach. This is a tourist area so in peak season it is packed but empty and no beach bars out of season. There are a few good restaurants where it begins at the end of Malvarrosa but very little else further along.

Beautiful calm beach, nice sand, amazing water, and a nice beachside bar to munch on with their snacks and drinks

A beautiful beach. Easy to get to on foot, bike, bus, or tram.

The place to kite or surf in Valencia. Just make sure it's windy. Good from early September until early June, while people are not out on the beach. Parking around not too bad, if you come by car. I prefer El Perellonet, but Playa Patacona is a lot closer than El Perellonet. Waves, water not very deep, perfect spot to kitesurf.

Nice promenade, some nice restaurants and some just ok. Modern buidings (unlike Malvarossa). Large. Sand is not "fine" and water is not always clear (seaweed or dirt after rains). Empty in winter, packed in summer. Am I complaining? No, still a great place.

Great beach just a short bike ride from city centre of Valencia, through an interesting area with small (suburban) agriculture.

Beautiful and very wide beach. Lots to do, parasailing, kites, dancing and more.

Nice chiringuito but whilst waiting for my watermelon with ice…I noticed the person preparing the drink putting LOTS of sugar in it. I questioned why you would want to add a lot of sugar to a healthy watermelon only drink…the answer I received was that they always do it unless you ask for without sugar…the drink was handed to me regardless (€4)….what a pity.

Really nice beach and a lovely walk. There are many places to play games such as beach volleyball.

Schöner grosser Strand in Valencia.
