I cannot recommend this gym enough! I recently started on my fitness journey, and I can admit, I was a little scared. Everyone here is super friendly and helpful though, and my trainer, Lenny, is amazing at what she does. I feel safe/comfortable asking questions and the staff is also incredibly helpful. All of the equipment is well maintained too. 10/10 gym all around. The owner is also super insightful and kind too. Just a great way to start a life-changing habit overall.

This is honestly one of the best gyms I’ve ever been to. Atmosphere is great, staff is awesome, and the equipment is top tier. The only reason this review isn’t 5 stars is because it just gets way too busy no matter what time you go. Hopefully this changes as more locations open up.

DMV Iron is what I would like to call the upper echelon of health and wellness. This facility is mint from the staff, to the equipment, to the facility itself. The owners strive to create a community of passion. A community that enables us to welcome and help people in ways that we couldn't as individuals. There is no power for change greater than a community discovering what it cares about. There is something here for everyone. The attention to detail is apparent in every inch of this space. There is no urgency to pack the facility with just any machines, but rather extreme due diligence applied to make sure it is nothing less than unique in nature. When you place emphasis on getting the little things right, you create a culture of attention to detail. It goes without saying that when you are creating experiences, attention to detail matters. After all, the difference between good and great is in fact in the attention to detail. I am so impressed by the vision that has came to fruition at DMV Iron. Their ability to make every experience feel so personable and intimate, as if you are the only member is next to none. DMV Iron is where passion and the agility of fitness meet. Highly recommend.

Where do I start… the gym is fully operated by mostly hot guys, and 97% of them are single. The machinery is unparalleled to any gym I’ve ever stepped foot in. The lighting makes me realize my good looks have faded so I should work out harder, talk about motivation. The hand dryers in the bathroom make you feel like you’re on a space ship. The atmosphere is so welcoming sometimes I drive there just to sit on the toilet to scroll social media, or play a game of candy crush. No dudes hit on you, it’s clean, and the sauna reminds me of a hot summer day and simpler times. You should go here.

Hands down one of the best gyms I’ve ever trained at. What makes this gym top tier, is the atmosphere, the equipment and the supportive people. The owner, workers always update their equipment monthly, leaving us with the best equipment for hypertrophy and powerlifting. The lighting is also top tier, no need to worry about trying to get the right spot in the mirror.

Three main reasons this is the best gym I’ve been to: 1) the variety of equipment, which allows folks with old injuries and mobility challenges to get a great workout - hello pit shark belt squat! 2) the vibe is serious but welcoming - I haven’t had a negative interaction with anybody here. Folks mind their business, and their business is exercise. 3) all of the equipment is in great condition - I’ve yet to see a rusty machine. Staff clearly prioritize the quality of their equipment. The sole downside is the volume of the music at times - I don’t expect a library atmosphere but virtually everybody has their own headphones anyway. Still, love coming to this gym!

Trying to get my pa a better gym in this area, can you help him strengthening his legs and core? He has no pains, just neglected muscles with bad movements got him triggered into imbalance. All we need is muscle training, build up into balance.

If I was reviewing based on how I enjoyed my membership experience I would give it 1 star, but I'm going to talk about how this business is ran overall. First I want to say the owner of this gym is a great businessman in his own right, the way they sell this gym is cunning/vulgar but very effective. What the great sales results in is an extremely crowded gym where circuit training is nearly impossible. If you're lucky enough to find a cable you can't leave that spot for longer than 5 seconds because someone will take it. If you're okay with staying one piece of equipment for 10 minutes then it works out. Most of the members here are in fantastic shape which is interesting considering how hard it is to train at a fast pace here, perhaps it has something to do with what they do outside the gyms walls... They have zero functional equipment, their machines are just injuries waiting to happen especially if you are someone who plays sports or does cardio, none of this fancy bodybuilding equipment is really good for you. If you are into bodybuilding you will love the place, if you are a normal person or prefers a GQ style physique with circuit or functional training this is the wrong facility for you, you're better off at Lifetime, St James, Equinox etc although the price point of those places is much higher. As for the facility they do a pretty good job of keeping everything clean, but there are so many useless machines that create unnecessary clutter. They also have a turf area and sled that nobody uses. Posing room is pretty cool although I mainly just used it for selfies. Overall, I am not a bodybuilder so it was never a good fit for me to begin with BUT I could put up with the bodybuilding atmosphere if it wasn't so damn crowded with pretty rude people for the most part. Some of the people are great though. Overall: 5 stars if you like bodybuilding and Tik-Tok 1 star if you are a busy professional who doesn't have time to wait for equipment and enjoy a community of likeminded individuals.

It's one of the best gyms in the DMV. I've been a member since January 2023. The atmosphere is great, and you can make serious GAINS!! with there top notch equipment. They have three killer locations: Alexandria, Falls Church, and Rockville, MD. With a membership, you can go to all three locations( what gym does that) go check them out, make some gains, and stay healthy. Cheers.

Top notch equipment and best overall atmosphere for to teach your potential! I was amazed by the level of quality and care of the equipment at this gym and rarely do you ever see broken or non-functional equipment. The owners of this gym really go above and beyond the expectations I’ve had of any other gym and the investment into the equipment speaks for itself. They have multiple membership options for various budgets and something else I love more about this gym is that they re-rack the weights here and also you don’t see a bunch of IG influencers taking up too much time on equipment and having to maneuver around tripods, which is a pet peeve of mine. The staff strictly enforces the rules here in this gym, so it makes it adequate and fair for everyone! Absolutely love this place!

This Gym continues to amaze me, they are always putting in 110% effort in making sure they maximize the BEST equipment and experience for new and continues members. The best gym I've ever been to. No pool. No snack bar. Just the best equipment I've ever seen. Every machine feels smoother, more articulated, and targets the muscles better than your standard gym equipment. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and the patrons take their workouts seriously. I love this place.

I've been working out my entire life. I have used gyms all over the world ans dmv iron is my favorite. There are machines here that have helped me make serious gains while also relieving a lot of pain from years of hardcore workouts. I am endlessly grateful to the owner Leo for making an absolute playground for fitness enthusiasts that can be appreciated by the newest gym member to the most seasoned bodybuilder.
