Save yourself the trouble and get an AirBnB. This place is full of roaches and bugs. It looks like the carpets have never been vacuumed. There is food, dried worms, tissue paper, crumbs, and whatever else you can imagine under the furniture. I would feel horrified to take a shower here. There’s not a chance I can close my eyes and sleep in peace here. I mentioned the bugs to the staff, Charles, and he said “call your agent and cancel the room.” Didn’t even offer to remedy the situation in some manner. This is not how you treat paying customers.

After confirming a 2 bed room, we showed up at 3AM from a canceled flight, completely drained after traveling 30 hours of travel. Nobody was at the entrance making my family of 4 with two small children wait until about 20 minutes later someone finally showed up. When we went to our room, the room was a disaster, beds weren't made and trash was everywhere. Then she showed two more rooms which were singles beds and wouldn't work. Finally, she showed us a room under construction which was the last 2 bedroom in the hotel. It was disgusting. The floors were filthy, the beds had stains on them, there were bugs everywhere. We laid down towels on the beds to hopefully try and get a little rest. After 3 hours in the hotel, we couldn't take it anymore, and left at 6AM with none of us getting any rest. This was the most disgusting hotel I've ever stayed in and I'm embarrassed that my family had to endure it.

It's a 2 star hotel so it worked but the photos are very misleading. It's pretty dingey, I had to ask the front desk staff 3 times to clean the tub and it was still gross. They suggested moving me to another room that had fresh stains all over the counter. Someone elses shoes were under the bed. The front desk staff was empathetic though nothing seemed to come from it.

My room was spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. I don’t eat breakfast but they had lots of coffee and snacks👍🏻.Let me start with the staff. The manager CHARLES and front desk KARINA were superb. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. They are truly the best! I didn’t have a chance to say goodbye bye. Very satisfied with my stay.

It's only been a day so I'll check back in a few days with an updated review. So far, I think the room could be a bit bigger. It's very compact. I've seen lower quality motels w bigger rooms. The TV is very very small. I have trouble viewing it. The price of the room & length of stay I honestly believe the quality should be better. Also there isn't a safe in the room.

The main reservation lady named Marie was great. Kind and professional however I was shocked at the absolute lack of professionalism in the front desk rep. Wouldn’t tell me his name but had a thick middle eastern accent, I’m a new business owner and simply inquired about the rates and if they offered discounts for organizations wanting to purchase hotel vouchers. I own a very new and small woman owned business in the community I advocate for abuse victims and help women with resume prep interview prep when they leave an abusive situation The front desk employee said verbatim “Look I don’t do charity I don’t care who pays but send them to a shelter” then placed me on hold then hung up So I tried the next extended stay and literally got the same treatment and will post there. Had he took the time to listen he would understand that I had several thousand dollars to simply buy vouchers at a bulk rate and on top of that drive business to him because I have 4 clients looking for long term stays in the fair oaks area. For reference this happened on January 9th 2024 around 430 - 5pm EST

I had previously stayed at this location and had a great experience. I decided to stay here for a second time and my experience was horrible. First check in was not pleasant at all. I was a greeted with a "can I help you"? Not even a hello. The check in person stood there and never asked for my ID. I handed her my ID because it seems like I had to initiate the process. She then laid my ID on the countertop closet to her so I had to reach out to pick it up. I mean if I gave you my ID in your hands return the favor and do the same. The room this time was not clean properly because I could still see hair in the tub. The two guest next door I guess was in a slamming door contest. Wee hours in the morning they were in and out the room slamming the door. Then one of them kept me up until 3am with noise.

Stayed one night before a job interview, I will never be back. Upon arrival I checked in and was given a room that another guest was already staying in. After getting my proper room I found the door unsecured, Upon entry to room had a dog pee smell to it there was a toy block just laying randomly on the floor, and the bathroom smelled like some had just smoked a joint, I was exhausted after driving seven hours and figured I could deal with it for one night. I when I went to shower in the morning I found dirty towels in the bathroom. My room was a king suite non smoking, I wish I could give negative stars

Overall, pretty solid. The room was overall clean, though it smelled a little bit like smoke when I got there. Had all the essentials I needed. The iron was also really good in my room. Not the nicest hotel in the world but a great choice to save some money.

First impressions when I walked in was, wow this is dated, felt like the styling was from 1970’s. Which that alone wouldn’t have been so bad. I normally leave my suitcase on the floor and take out clothes as needed. I grabbed something out of the suitcase and a roach went flying out. Which I was like maybe it was just 1 off. The next morning I walk into the bathroom and there were two bugs on the counter and one in the tub. There also appeared to be burn marks on the counter as well. My friends stayed at another place that cost 3X as much and it was very evident why this one was so cheap.

During my recent stay at Extended Stay America, I encountered several issues that impacted my experience. Firstly, the breakfast selection was disappointing as it seemed to consist primarily of genetically modified foods, which might not cater to all guests' preferences. Additionally, I faced an unexpected charge for my pet. Despite the hotel's policy stating a reduced rate of $10 per day after the sixth day, I was charged $25 per day. This discrepancy in billing was a significant concern and resulted in an additional $150 added to the total cost of my stay. Efforts to resolve this issue were further complicated by an interaction with a staff member. The individual I spoke with at the front office was unhelpful and came across as rude. He did not assist in addressing my concerns and left for the evening before the issue could be resolved. This lack of customer service was particularly frustrating as it coincided with a time-sensitive Flash Sale. Regarding cleanliness, I noticed mouse droppings in the cupboards, which is concerning. However, aside from this issue, the room was generally acceptable in terms of cleanliness and comfort. In terms of pricing, I found the rates to be average. Considering the overall experience and the quality of service and facilities, I believe there are better options available at the same price point. Despite these issues, I am committed to staying here until the end of the month due to my circumstances. Overall, my experience at Extended Stay America was marred by several issues, including service, cleanliness, and billing discrepancies. While the basic amenities were acceptable, there is significant room for improvement in customer service and value for money.

Terrible experience! The room I was assigned to was in an extremely messy state, as if it had just been vacated. The bed was unmade, there were stains and food leftovers on the table, and the trash can was overflowing with Popeyes containers. To make matters worse, when I tried to use the phone to request a room transfer, a roach scurried out from underneath it. I honestly considered sleeping in my car instead. I promptly requested a full refund as I couldn't bear to stay in such conditions.

The room was dirty, I ask for it to be cleaned the next day because I drove all day n when I checked in it was late. Front desk stated they were short staffed n will try to get to my room then proclaimed they only clean if your staying for 7 days . The pictures show hair on the bathroom shower wall. They did not have a spa or fitness room as stated on website. They do not restock breakfast. Only good thing is how close they were to different areas

Very spacious quiet and comfortable. Easy to find close to everything mall across the street shopping down the road. Very nice area. I felt safe. 25 to 30 mins from airport.

Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. First, we had to pay a pet fee which we were unaware of until we arrived. Second, the room was empty, like BARREN. There was no bedsheet for the couch mattress, no silverware/plates/cups so we had to pick them up from the front desk, and I found a BED BUG in the bed. When we called front desk, the first thing they offered was to have someone come over and clean the bed/remove the bug. I will say it was 5am when we found the bug, but still. No way am I expected to STAY in a room with bed bugs! We changed rooms and the new one was dirty. The table was stained and the floor was sticky like someone spilled something. When we spoke to the manager, John, about the bed bugs and a refund, he immediately became defensive and denied all claims. He refused to give us a refund even though we have photo proof and the rest of his coworkers told us we’re eligible for a refund. Then he brought up another man who came in complaining about roaches and how we didn’t tell him about the bugs till 5am. We can’t predict when bugs appear, but bed bugs are a clear health violation. NEVER go here. It may be the cheapest option but it is not worth the hassle and lack of maintenance and sanitation. Surprised they haven’t shut down.

This place was filthy, stay away. Mold in the shower. Room was stinky. Sheets had clearly not been changed when I checked in. Guy at the front desk couldn't find my reservation or charge the card on file. "Breakfast" was coffee and granola bars. Facilities use the same washer/driers as guests so good luck getting a machine

This place is the worst. When I first arrived, no one was at the front desk until I had to say “Hello?”. When the woman finally arrived, she wasn’t really answering my questions and was just looking at the tablet. Finally, she tells me that I don’t have a room because they overbooked. So I come all this way and there’s no room for me because they gave it to someone else. I don’t know what’s the point of reserving a room. Horrible customer service and horrible reserving system. The lobby room also smelled really musty and dirty.

Pay extra and stay somewhere else and thank me later! This place was not only dirty but it smelled like cigarettes, pot, and bad decisions. Supposedly the rooms were non smoking too. The carpets were gross, the bathtub clearly was not cleaned at all and the bed felt like we were sleeping on a brick pallet with a thin foam topper. The whole place needs to be remodeled. We only stayed one night but if you’re looking for something for a week or longer, do yourself a favor and spend a little extra and go somewhere else. The location was great which is why we chose it and the gentleman at the front desk was nice but the room itself is a major disappointment.

Heat stopped working after 1 day. Room was very loud, sounded like a jack hammer was going off when another room had their shower on. Did not feel safe here and switched to a new hotel even though I had prepaid.

Plus: price. Kitchenette. Basic accommodations. Kitchenwares available on request. Minus: upkeep needed: room had broken kitchen drawer and island cabinet door falling off. Noise level is high, hotel is in a corner between rte 66 and a busy road that was being repaired until midnight, large machinery constantly beeping. Coffeemaker was unavailable until next morning then I was given a broken one. Front desk staff said thete was no other, repeatedly. I asked for manager and he got me a new one by the time I returned in the evening. He was excellent; other staff needs training in customer relations. Suggest you book at one of the other ES in the area, which are more modernized.

We requested rooms by each other since we had kids with us. They told us they could do that but when we got here he said they couldn't. Our carpet was disgusting and when we brought it up he said when we opened the door the wind blew in some dirt. There was a dirty cup in the room and he blamed in on the cleaning crew. The coffee bar was an absolute joke. Overall one of the worst hotels we been at.

The room was okay. It served its purpose as far as providing a place to lay my head. The service was exceptional. Everyone was so welcoming. As I was packing to check out, I was having trouble with my card key. I think it was the maintenance man was walking by and he stopped what he was doing to assist me. 🙂👍🏿 You can't really beat the location, with the bus right in front of the property and being within walking distance of food and shopping. I'll definitely consider it again if I am back in the area.

My stay here was not pleasant. My wife was almost attacked by a mentally ill individual and the thing is the hotel is aware of the individual's behavior and still allow him to trespass here. The cops were called and the matter was sorted out.

Easily the nastiest and most unhygienic hotel I've stepped in. Checked into my room and experienced the following; (1) Dead bugs on the bathroom floor (2) Dead bugs inside the bathroom tub (3) Hair inside the fridge (3) Hair on the bedsheets, indicating they probably weren't changed (5) Dead bugs and mosquitoes hanging on the wall. I immediately canceled my booking and left to go to a better accommodation. Save your money and do not bother booking here. What a disappointment.

I had a nice stay. Just wish there were bigger cups of coffee offered and more variety for breakfast.

This place is unbelievable. Checked into a dirty room. Went back to the front desk and they gave me a 2nd room. The bathroom had roaches and then I left the hotel. I will be requesting a refund.

it’s disgusting, the people and location. the workers are disgustingly rude. your room comes with absolutely nothing in it like it’s suppose to. the freezer was burnt with ice. this location costs so much for absolutely no reason. dump

awful location, awful smells, awful rooms, and an awful crack heads infestation. save your money to the one by the Mall or by Harris Teeter they are upstanding, nice, and such friendly people. more than likely at this location you will be stolen from, constantly police presence and people who aren’t staff will just walk in your rooms. it’s a stay at your own risk place and it’s alot of risk.

I wish I’d gotten the name of the guy who helped me at 3am tonight (06/07.) He was impressively patient, willing, and determined to accommodate me, despite a mistake I’d made on my end. I’m not sure of his position but great staff is a must and this location is very blessed to have someone who really cares. Thank you so much. And the room is exceptionally clean and comfy.

My stay here has been a wonderful experience. Being new to the area, this hotel is located in a convenient location. Everything is clean and very well maintained. Kateryna has gone above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and taken care of. The kindness is unmatched and I have extended my stay solely because of her.

This was my first time staying at this extended stay of America, and it was more than satisfactory. The room was clean, and the check-in was very easy. Additionally, the associate who was on duty at that time was extremely helpful in assisting me to resolve several minor issues. I would like to commend that particular associate, I believe his name is Solomon.
