    DO NOT MOVE HERE. 5 weeks now with inadequate hot water. I will be filing a lawsuit as they are indirect violation of Virginia landlord, and tenant law. We pay $3,500 a month for a 3 bedroom and they cant even give us adequate hot water without the water turning ice cold after 5 minutes of use. 5 weeks now we have been dealing with this issue and maintenance just twiddles their thumbs. I will not be renewing my lease. I have only been here for six months. I have lived in much older complexes with much better plumbing systems. This is supposedly a new development. Absolutely pathetic and ridiculous that we have to experience his issues for paying so much rent.

    5 stars to Dom and Abdul! Both are unicorns in the apt renting world. Dom is the only reliable person on the maintenance team. While he's hard at work, you can find the rest of the maintenance team somewhere in the shade, on a golf cart, just chit chatting with each other vice tackling the back log of maintenance requests. He's honest, personable, funny, fast, knowledgeable and follows up with residents. He takes the time to know the residents he is helping, without wasting your time. Just remember to put in your maintenance request "Please only send Dom" if you want your problem to get fixed, correctly. Abdul goes the extra 100 miles to help residents. When I had to change apts, he took it upon himself to go to Home Depot and purchase some large plastic totes for my belongings. When the 3rd party contractors repairing my apt threw my belongings in a bin, causing them to break, he took care of it and quickly worked a solution that satisfied the contractors and myself. He patiently worked with me until I found an apt I could quickly move into. He did so many "little" things (that ended up being a huge stress reducer) that I can't name them all in this review. Takeaway, he genuinely has empathy for residents. It's nice knowing there's a mgr that cares. I deducted 1 star because there's a complete lack of signage to support the bad layout. This means packages are lost, stolen, food and grocery delivery services can't find you, etc. You can also hear your noisy upstairs neighbors at all hours. My current upstairs neighbor stomps like he's 500 lbs and sounds like he's dropping weights on the floor. I'd hit the ceiling with a pole when he did this. That didn't work as we ended up sounding like Blue Man Group. Placing 2 speakers on the ceiling and blasting "Baby Shark", "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" and the Chipmunks Christmas proved much more effective.

    All day Saturday we were without hot water and Sunday morning we gave maintenance a call who quickly responded and sent Dom out to look into our issue. He was able to get the water heater back up in going within a few minutes. We were thankful to be able to take a warm shower. The staff here is always great! Thanks again Dom.

    I'm writing this review based on the exceptional service I received from Camden Maintenance team member Dom. Everyone will not do what he accomplished. The hot water went out in the apartment and although I submitted the request no matter what Dom always ask if everything is okay. I expressed our issue and immediately responded with I will come by and assess what is going on. Long story short water heater was replaced, but the X factor, the personnel demeanor and professional in just asking is everything okay in the apartment speaks volumes to his work ethnic. Thank you - 5 fives all across the board.

    Michael Young is very deserving of a five star review. He has gone above and beyond with every maintenance request that I have put in. Michael noticed that my laundry room door was closing poorly during an unrelated visit, and he took the time to fix it for me right then after grabbing some extra tools. During a second maintenance visit to update/fix a list of minor issues, he truly showed he deserved 6/5 stars. Michael updated part of the sink that was not broken, but he felt could be working better for me. He said that it would bother him if he did not take care of it the “right” way. I had to attend a work meeting while Michael was working in the apartment. While I was closed in one of my bedrooms, my kitten decided to harass him. My cat knocked his tools off the counter and took off with packing material. Michael took it upon himself to take the packing material away from my cat so he would not keep trying to eat it. If maintenance reads this- my kitten will be put in a room next time, he has lost his free rein privileges when guests are over after that stunt. Michael went over every fix that he made so I could ask any questions I had. The apartment complex has been good so far. I have had no pest issues and no concerns about safety yet. I love having the gates to protect our parking, but I wish there was some way to help the confused door-dash drivers. I also had an ambulance driver tell me that they had an extremely hard time finding me and got stuck at the gate. Ambulance drivers need an emergency way to get in.

    I have been living here for 2 months now and absolutely love it! The leasing and maintenance team has been wonderful. Special shout-out to Dom (from the maintenance team) he has done an excellent job fixing the issues we had in a timely and professional manner! I highly recommend Camden Fairfax Apartments!

    AMS Micheal Young has been outstanding. Best maintenance supervisor I’ve had the pleasure of meeting! He goes above and beyond for the tenants and treats your home as if it was his own. He’s very passionate and makes sure you’re taken care of. Thank you!

    Been at Camden for about a year, by the far the best complex I’ve stayed at. Completely secure, clean, spacious, and modern. I also MUST highlight Michael (Assistant Maintenance Supervisor) aka the Google Review King does an exceptional job in his role to provide care to each resident’s needs. Live @ Camden!

    You can run around this place, there is also a bike path, there is a river that has just been rebuilt and it is nice
