This temple is located near the ring road. This temple is 400 years old and very much famous for Sitala sasthi. Local people and also from away come here to worship lord, Shiva. The temple is maintained properly by the management of this temple. Must visit once if you are in Sambalpur.

Sital Shashthi is the primary festival of the presiding deity Bam Barad Balunkeshwar Baba and Maa Parvati . This is observed to mark the marriage ceremony of Lord Shiva and Maa Parvati after the Taraksura demise . It is followed with a Nagar Parikrama by both to re-instill faith and eradicating fear from the mass . This festival is observed with much fun fare with folk dance from across the state and outside as well . Many artists gather to perform their acts and entertain the crowd . Please pay a visit to enjoy this unique festival if you are nearby.
